IMHO, vikings is more on quantity instead of quality. The food they serve, you can find it in any restaurant. Pero kapag malakas ka kumain and you can drink a lot, super sulit kumain dito.

Advantage dito, at least hindi sumakit tiyan ko dito after eating. sa yakimix kasi, 2x na ako kumain (2 different branches), 2x din sumakit tiyan ko

we were there last weekend.. satisfied naman ako.. though nakulangan ako sa dessert table nila... but overall it was a pleasant experience

for the price ng buffet sa vikings, parang ang hirap naman ata mag nit pick at mag compare kung hindi kasing special ng food sa spiral or other buffets sa mga hotel ang food ng vikings.

@jen.villa if you are referring to sofitel's promo price sabi ng iba pati quantity wala na. check groupons thread about it. But if regular price sa sofitel my friends said it's quantity and quality

IMHO, buffets would always consider Quantity dahil all you can buffet yan e

pero dahil all you can buffet nga yan hindi natin maiiwasan na they would run out of some food once in a while kahit Cabalen, Sofitel, Vikings or wherever pa yan.

Imagine sa price ng Vikings libre pa yung drinks, right? So papatak na 400-500 nalang yung mismong food nyan, which makes the price comparable lang sa buffet ng cabalen, yakimix and other low end buffets, and with that wide food variety di na rin masama yung presyo ng vikings, parang di narin siguro makatarungan na mag nit pick about the level ng sarap ng food nila and compare it to well constructed dishes ng sofitel and other mid to hi-end hotels that offer all you can buffets as well.

from what I understand, yang price increase would be for weekend and holiday buffets starting
Sept 1, right? But for the other days, same regular price padin.

Well if their angus beef is really that good, not bad na siguro the price hehe!

a little pricey pero
kung okay ang beef, and malakas ka kumain ng beef sulit narin siguro yan.
