VIKINGS EAT ALL YOU CAN BUFFET @MOA (Anything and Everything)

Anyone here who has tried dining @ VIKINGS! I heard it's almost the same with Spiral Buffet of Sofitel which cost more than 2k while Vikings only cost 888 + 5% service charge. We are planning to dine here this coming saturday.

tanaw to sa office namin. inaaya ko ofismates ko dito para matry namin, di nga lang kami natutuloy. sayang natapos na ang 20% off for their soft opening.

may not be the best, but it's not that bad either.

^ yun ang sabi ng mga friends ko na nakakain dun eh,  once I get there I would know. extended ang promo nila until april 30 but during lunch lang but some people said mas okay daw kapag dinner kasi mas complete yung food.

My mom wasn't impressed with the food. Pero the ambiance sosyal daw.
 That;s the usual tagline i hear "mas masarap pa sa sofitel" hehe

^ow....I guess kanya kanyang taste talaga kasi yung kakilala kong mahilig sa Sofitel ang nagrecommend sa akin ng Vikings hehe...anyways, will post my review kapag natuloy kami this coming saturday....I'm sure I will enjoy it kasi libre hehe

My brother and his wife was able to eat here na. Sosyal daw ang ambiance pero yung food, bagsak daw hehe  Di daw matched dun sa ambiance. Kadiri pa daw yung mga serving spoons kasi kung saan saan nalang daw nilalagay. Basta, disappointed sila ng sobra hehe

the reviews i've read so far have been mostly positive so we're going to try it this weekend... cannot really judge until i've tried it

We went to Vikings last saturday 530pm pa lang nandun na kami as in wala pang laman yung mga trays  we stayed there until 8pm ang dami naming kinain pero tkim tkim lang....I love their crab yun talaga ang dami kong kinain.  Masarap din yung yogurt nila 
Overall ok dun a little pricey lang for me.

sulit naman sya for me. i liked their sushi, salads, lambchops, dimsum and desserts. pero yung pasta, never mind. =p plus points din na kasama na yung drinks (soda, juices, coffee, beer, shakes) sa P888. honestly, i'd rather go here than spirals. =)

I actually have an accor card. If there's only two of us dining, I'll probably choose spiral. However, I only eat in buffets if I'm with a group (at least 4 people). In such case, the discount is only equivalent to the rate of one person in spiral. =) Except, of course, if there's at least ten of us then I'll choose spiral because of the 50% off voucher. =)

Sorry for the lengthy explanation. =D My first statement actually applies for ordinary days when I just want to eat in a buffet setting. =p

my friend dragged me here yesterday. i was very hesitant because of the bad reviews.
and im surprised, it wasnt that bad after all. P888 + tax for this kind of buffet is sulit enough, at least for me.

Likes: spinach soup, chicken salad, beef lasagna, tempura, buttered shrimps, beef stew, gourmet veggies, white chocolate cake, revel bar, avocado ice cream, juice + fruit shakes + yogurt station, and you dont have to refill them. waiters will approach your table and they will do it for you. service is outstanding. you'll feel they are really trying to make a good impression.
Just ok: pesto, pizza, calzone
Dislikes:everything sa grilling station! cream dory, at ang bigat ng spoon and fork nila! para kong nagdu-dumbbell! hehe

worth a try? yes
sosyal na ambiance? di ko feel na meron
comparable to Spiral? definitely NOT

hindi naman sosi yung ambiance sa vikings,  I would say malinis lang talaga which resto should be especially the CR laging may naglilinis.
