My son celebrated his 2nd birthday at Animaland Part Place in Shangri-la Mall.

It was such a fun & chill party.  We weren't harassed at all, compared to our other parties.  This was our 10th birthday party na and it's my fave. 

We just invited our friends who had kids 3 years-old and below.  We had 15 kids lang and about 40 adults.

We made sure the games were appropriate for toddlers & parents like "Hot Potato & Boat is Sinking".  All the toddlers joined the games and won prizes for themselves.  With our other parties kase, the big kids hog the games & prizes tapos display lang the celebrant. 

This time, our son had fun talaga.  He was even singing "Best Day Ever"on the way home.  It's such a nice feeling to know that the celebrant really enjoyed the party and not just the guests.

Each kid chose a toy and stuffed it themselves.  They even got to name their new pets with matching birth certificate.  They also got to put a heart and make a wish - super cute!!

Although Animaland gave us free invites - I used FB events nalang to invite the parents.  Balloons were from JD balloons and food was ordered from Amber.  No hassle or stress at all!

You have to buy minimum of 12 stuffed toys (798 each) + 2,500 for the Party Place.  Included na yung host + sound system.  The place is nicely decorated that you don't need to have balloon arrangements anymore.  Nagsisi talaga ako, I got balloon arrangements pa. 

I went to a party kase where the mom just bought flying balloons and the kids went crazy over them.  If you think about, the kids aren't really impressed with backdrops & fancy pillars - flying balloons lang happy na sila.  Better to buy flying balloons nalang around 2 per child.

The place is big enough for 50 pax lang with enough space for the kids to play in the middle.
We were more than 50 but we didn't feel cramped naman coz when the kids were busy picking, stuffing & naming their new pets - us adults ate na.

sis  Teacher_Cheryl medyo pricey din pala. kasi what if maraming batang pumunta -- im obliged to give them stuffed toys din. naka-attend na ako ng off site party ng animal land -- ang daming kids kaya siguro malaki nagastos ng friend ko. napasubo! hehe

That's why we invited our friends who had kids 3 and below lang.  If they had older siblings, we have them cards from PowerStation at the 5th floor. 

Because we only had toddlers, the game were appropriate to their level din.  I guess that's why they enjoyed talaga because usually the older kids would be the ones playing & winning.

I come from a big family and we have lots of friends with kids but we didn't invite everyone na.  We would say it's a Toddler Party ha - for the small kids lang.  So they didn't feel bad naman that we didn't invite them.

If you compare it to Gymborree & Little Gym, Animaland is cheaper & the kids bring home a really special souvenir.  Sa Gymboree kase 16-20k tapos tumbler & ball lang ang souvenir.

Party at animal land is really interesting. Ang challenge lang is how to trim down the guests. Yung food ba sis pano pala yun? Ano yung mga restrictions nila?

^ Wala naman silang restrictions.  You can bring whatever you want, just let them know in advance para they can get a pass for you from the Mall admin.

I don't think there's space for a food cart though.

^^no food restrictiosn with Animaland. But Shangri-la is quite strict. No cooking allowed. So in case you're getting a caterer, on the spot cooking is not allowed. Then if you're getting an outside caterer, they will have to secure a gate pass from the mall. Animaland naman will help you with this one. And Teacher Cheryl is right, no space for food carts.

My son had his 1st birthday party at Gymboree Shangri-la last Sunday. We've considered doing it in Animaland but we felt it is better to do it in Gymbo. Parang kasi he wont enjoy it if Animaland given his age. We're glad we made the right choice cause my son really enjoyed his party. Will post my review about the place later on.

Maybe we'll do it in Animaland for his ate's birthday next year. Their party place has this shabby chic vibe so it's perfect for a tea party

When my sons turned 2, we had a party at home.  I hired a storyteller to entertain them.  Aside from telling stories (in a lively and interactive manner that is very interesting for kids), she also engaged the kids in a simple art activity connected with one of the stories and facilitated the games.  I also got a bubble show from a party supplier.   It was a refreshing change from the usual host/magician routine.

We had 22 kids and almost 60 adults.  Our home is not big ha but nagkasya naman.  More important, the kids had fun.

I also considered a Gymboree on the go party but our garden is too small for the parachute activity (the highlight).

Hi there! My son's 2nd birthday is coming up and my husband and I are planning to throw a simple toddler party for him. My question is, what food have you guys served to the kids? I'll be having 15 toddlers kasi (ages 1-3) and I don't know what to give them. I appreciate your help, mommies! Thank you in advance!

^ Keep it simple.  Spaghetti, chicken nuggets or fingers or fish fillet (no bones), grilled cheese sandwich, cupcake, fresh fruit juice or water (no soda or iced tea).

Thanks, Marose! I'll probably just order food trays from Conti's then. I think they have spaghetti, chicken fingers and assorted sandwiches.

Actually im planning to have a simple party sa bahay. Thinking na Tea Party ang theme. hindi po palang mabuo yun idea sino sino lang ang iimbitahan ko kasi maliit lang yun space sa bahay..
Kasi more on kids lang sana ang umattend hahaha.. if me parents bahala na kami sa buhay namin saan kami pupuwesto..
