I was on the phone kanina with maidprovider.ph. I'm inquiring since we need a new helper. As per policy, they will replace the helper twice for free within 3 months. I asked what will happen if the 3rd helper is still not ok, she replied "Then, I'll be honest Ma'am, there's something wrong with you."  I asked her if ganun siya kasigurado sa mga dinedeploy nila for her to be able to say that. Ganun ba talaga kagagaling. To be fair, she tried to take it back, but honestly, nakaka turn off.
Considering that they charge so high, 10,800+ placement fee and 6k min salary for the helper, I definitiely expect them to be more accommodating. The way she talked down to me is definitely a red flag. I can just imagine how difficult it will be to deal with them once paid na.

I have been reading negative reviews nga about maid provider.ph  Since we need maids, malakas na siguro talaga loob to talk back like that.  Iisa lang ata kausap ng mga tao, nagpapalit lang daw ng name sa phone para magmukha silang malaking company.

referral ng neighbor's househelp. let your neighbors know and their househelp as well that you are looking for a househelp kasi ganoon lang ginagawa ko after a few days may kakatok na nirerefer ng househelp ng kapitbahay ko. relative o friend ng HH ng kapitbahay ang nag aapply.

^ It's not that easy.  One of the yayas in our village was asking if I needed any more help only to recommend the agency she came from.  I give up na sa pag kuha ng "yaya". I hired an all around and told her I will train her to become a yaya.  She has 3 kids narin naman and so far mas maingat pa nga sakin sa pag hawak kay baby so let's see.

Try lang ako magask does anyone know pano magka yaya na hindi stay in? i mean dito lang sya sa house sa morning to take care of my 2 y.o boy? we live in mandaluyong city let me know if you have any idea of this set up thanks

^ medyo common na din ang stay-out arrangement. Average rate is 400-500/day (usually for 10-12hrs) + meals while nasa inyo. Transpo allowance is i think negotiable. Most e kumukuha from nearby lang para less travel time, wala masyadong alibi na kesyo natraffic, etc. plus less pagod din for the helper sa pagbyahe.

Girl, mahirap maghanap ng all around helper, let alone ask for referrals here   My neighbour who used to get sa provide finally gave up and ask for agency referral.  Ganun na talaga, mahirap na maghanap so be careful nalang and better have CCTV at home and ask for Valid ID.

Haay ako rin gusto ko na ng yaya asap, will be giving birth sa July for my 2nd child. I have work at night si Hubby naman works at day. We have lola to take care of our eldest. Kaso paminsan minsan kelangan bumalik sa bahay nila for some errands. Pero ngayon mangananak ako sumasabay pa, kaya kelangan talaga ng permanent na makakasama sa bahay.
Anyone who knows someone na pede sa mandaluyong city, kahit stay out daily rate lang sana, pm me pls
Un asawa ko hindi ko maasahan, hindi kami makapagusap kung ano plano namin after I gave birth and pag bumalik na ako sa work.
Hindi naman namin kaya na kung mawawalan ako ng work.

referrals ng mga kachurch or kapitbahay. my husband is uncomfortable with strangers lalo at iiwan namin sa bahay. gusto niya alam niya kung saan nakatira yung magiging yaya.

Hi, I just joined several FB groups wherein Kasambahay and Employers unite lol. Nakahanap naman ako ng maayos maski total stranger, swertihan lang halos 1 month na sya samin. Baligtad nga sya pa ata pinaka maayos sa lahat ng nakasama namin. Naubusan na kasi kami ng mga refer refer or galing probinsya. Ingat nalang. Just type "Kasambahay" "Maid" "Yaya" keywords lalabas naman mga Groups, join and pagka accept sayo, madami na don nag post na Employers like us looking for Helpers and vice versa.

My yaya for 4 years will resign gusto mag work sa makati, kung alam lang nya mas marami pang ipon mga angels. I am praying so hard for a new yaya that is trustworthy at mamahalin ang house namin.

I will check sa FB group kasi need ko din talaga..  Thanks sa suggestions.

I found my yaya on one of these Facebook groups. Almost 6 months na rin sya sa akin, matagal na to for me, hehe. To be honest I think I got lucky with her kasi sobrang bait, masipag, at maayos magtrabaho. But I don't really recommend hiring from these groups, especially those na sobrang daming members, kasi sobrang dami talagang manloloko sa mga ganyang groups. Everyday may nagpopost na na scam sila, nagpadala ng pera pero di sumipot, yung iba naman sisipot pero after 2 days aalis na, parang ginamit lang yung employer para makapunta ng Manila, etc. Worst, yung iba talagang pagnanakaw talaga ang pakay.

I remember before I posted that I was looking for yaya, may nagmessage sa akin to inquire, then moments later I saw a post na wanted pala that person for stealing 200k sa previous employer nya na foreigner. I coordinated with that employer and we set up an entrapment. Sadly, nahuli sya but hindi naman sya nakulong just because the complaint against the person was filed sa Paranaque, and he was arrested sa QC (near our place).

Anyway, just be very careful with these groups. I got lucky with my yaya kasi she's from the same area where I live, so I was able to background check her and I know where her house is. Sa ngayon though even kakilala hindi na rin ganun ka safe ano?
