oh my.. sana gawin nila lahat ng airports like terminal 3... sometimes mas gusto ko na magfly ng lang ng cebu pac kasi malinis at maganda yung terminal nila..

hay naku sis, based on my experience when I went here and sumakay ako sa NAIA 1...sobrang malulungkot ka talaga...marerealized mo na tama na umalis ng Pinas para humanap ng greener pasture sa labas ng bansa...airport pa lang parang pinagtatabuyan ka na, walang maayos na departure area...magkakahiwalay kayo ng family mo for how many years, ang last na mangyayari eh...5 seconds lang po! ni hindi ko na nga nayakap mga parents ko, kiss na lang sa pagmamadali... tapos ang CR, naku naman! mas maganda pa CR namin sa bahay...I wonder if narerealized ba nila yung mga simpleng bagay na to???Flag carrier ng maraming OFW at foreigner tourist ang NAIA 1 and yet, hindi nila mapaganda???....maganda sana NAIA 3, kaso hanggang ngayon may kaso pa din kaya hindi maopen for other airlines...hays, kelan kaya sila matututo???..tsk...tsk..tsk...

tama ka sis, maganda nga yung Terminal 3, ang problem may kaso siya for corruption kaya hindi fully operational sa ibang byahe...nakakalungkot nga kase, yung mga tinuturing na mga "MAKABAGONG BAYANI" ng bansa natin (OFW) dun pa din sa bulok na NAIA 1 inaaccomodate...kaya mas marami ang ayaw na umuwi kase airport pa lang, ganun na ang hitsura na sasalubong sayo at take note meron pang mga hihirit na staff na..."BAKA MAY CHOCOLATE NAMAN KAME DIYAN???" or "KUYA, 1 DOLLAR LANG???"...hays, pati ba naman sa airport pagkababa ng eroplano may NAMAMALIMOS na??? parang may mga PATAGO

^^^ oo nga naglagay pa sila ng OFW lounge pero paghatid mo talaga grabe kawayan nalang.. ni wala time magsama sama pa muna before flight.... ang papangit pa ng food... at mahal..

Korek mga sis, recently we had an issue sa naniningil ng airport tax. Muntik kami makurakot.

At ang mahal ng airport tax at terminal fee ha. Kada alis mo iisipin mo pa yung almost 2400 pesos para pambayad sa mga yan. Eh napaka inconvenient naman! Hmp!

tsaka yung NAIA lang yung bukod tanging may airport tax/travel tax na binabayaran noh? may maisshare ba kayong picture ng loob ng terminal 1? hehe di ko pa nasusubukan makapasok sa terminal 1 palaging terminal 3 lang ako.

^sis, lahat ng airport dito meron airport tax/terminal fee. For international flights, lahat Php750 mapa-T1, T2 or T3 pa yan. Sa Clark meron din but I think it's a bit cheaper.

For domestic flights leaving Manila, Cebu and Davao, it's Php200. The smaller airports are much cheaper like Tagbilaran na Php20.00 lang.

Philippine Travel Tax is payed by all Filipinos travelling outside of the country for tourism purposes. Minsan di natin nararamdaman since incorporated na sa tickets if bought through a travel agent or airline ticketing office. But kung online purchase, you pay the travel tax sa travel tax counter located at the departure areas of all airports. Philippine Travel tax by the way is Php1620 for economy and business class passengers. Double that amount for First class passengers.

Literal rathole talaga! Grabe I've seen rats the size of a small cats running around. Even if you give suggestions kung wala naman budget dahil nakurakot na, wala din mangyayari.

Though I read somewhere na MIAA will be upgrading the toilets of T1 because of the article voting it one of the worst airports in the world. Sana nga! Pero wait and see pa rin.......

^Hehe sis, sige i-correct kita  Lahat ng airports all over the world meron airport tax/terminal fee. That is where they get their revenue/expenses to operate the airports. Incorporated na sa tickets yun as surcharges/other taxes kaya di natin nakikita. But if you have your ticket fares broken down makikita mo yan. Yung airline na lang ang nagreremit sa gobyerno ng mga taxes.

kahit pa siguro i-renovate yan baka bulok pa din. at ang dami dami mo pa kailangan daanan bago ka makalabas! para ka dumaan sa butas ng karayom!

^yeah luma na talaga tapos hindi pa maganda ang pagkamaintain through out the years. Mahirapan na irenovate ang T1.

But I don't understand yung sinabi mo na madaming dadaanan bago makalabas. Immigrations and customs lang naman dadaanan mo bago ka makalabas. Saan ka pa dumadaan?

next year daw yung mga international flights sa NAIA 3 na kasi magkakaroon major facelift ang NAIA1.
