^^ marose - naku okay magpunta sa PP this holy week. May mga station of the cross sila (may mga small cross/es na pwede mo buhatin), film viewing and other activities. Pero walang veneration of the relics or kahit touch si Padre Pio (ip-preserve daw siya for the holy week muna).

Pero aga namen dumadating dun lage, siguro 830 AM, nandun na kame to get a really nice seat.

Re Yesterday at PP, grabe nga! For sure mga for 1215 mass naman mga yun. Nung kwento ko nga sa friend ko, sabi nya...oh dumami ulit tao kase na-feature daw ulit sa TV PP a few days back.

And yesterday din pala, I submitted my super overdue testimony letter with our pictures. LOL!

Sige, punta kami. Clara, Church of the Gesu and Della Strada sa itinerary.

Hirap pumunta sa Intramuros and Manila churches kapag bisita Iglesia.  Mahirap mag-park!

I love the Sweet Inspirations' mongolian buffet and I ask for noodles instead of rice kasi ang sarap kumain! LOL

My favorite at Shoppers is the taisan cupcakes, ensaymada with ube, cheese rolls, snickerdoodles, chiffons and chocolate cake with yema :D  (I haven't tried the others pa). Hmmm.. have to try their butter loaf.  Sa tagal tagal ng mga bata sa MI, I don't think I ever tried their butter loaf!

I don't know how we're going to do our bisita iglesia with baby us.  We used to go to 1 church and do 1 station of the cross, it was nice but when I got pregnant last year, di ko kinaya kaya we just went to Sanctuario de San Jose and did our stations of the cross there.

Ano ang mga menu niyo for Good Friday?  Baka I can pick up an idea from you guys. Am thinking Tilapia and Monggo for lunch and then shrimps for dinner.

I've always wanted to go to PP but have never gone too. I think I'll take my kids on Holy Tuesday or Wednesday.  Are there candles to light up like in Santa Clara? I love going to Santa Clara. I always get goose bumps when I enter and the place is so solemn.. Even if I wrote down on one of my petitions to take care of my dad, and then he passed away the next day, I still go.  I still believe that maybe my dad's load was just too much so he went.

On a lighter note, any vacation plans?  Kami, baka subic, clark and pansol.  My kids love fontana esp the water park kahit masuka suka na ako doon. LOL

^ Hi there!  Your kids studied in MI pala.  I was considering MI for preschool for my twins but I really wanted a Montessori preschool so my husband and I decided to enroll them at Family Montessori in E. Abada.  But so far, I am impressed with the few MI kids I've met from our village.  Very articulate and confident sila.  And Joy Canon is a summa or magna cum laude sa BS Psychology in UP Diliman. ;)

Aah, menu for Good Friday, since I'll be cooking, I will prepare pesto pasta and pan-fried dory fillet for lunch and inihaw na tilapia plus talbos salad for dinner.  Very light lang kasi nga fasting dapat.

No vacation plans yet but I want to have an overnight stay at Tagaytay or Subic.  I am not a beach person so Boracay or any beach does not usually figure in our plans.

Do we have to be members to go to Fontana?

Grace - may mga candles sa PP you can light  :) Re menu naman, since bakasyunista kame sa province, for sure loads of seafood ang papa-prepare ng dad ko plus mga gulay. Re vacation plans, since we'll go north...baka akyat kame Baguio, or try Ilocos route naman. We'll see if game lahat ng kapamilya ko  :D

For sure busy ang NLEX at SLEX!  ;D

Lia - nice to know naman you're somehow related to Don Ramon Rodriguez. Why? kase ang prayer nya for each, customized. So somehow, you'll get to feel na someone's really praying for you. I only get to talk to him talaga ng matagal once nung after ko manganak. We visited PP para magpa-salamat, and sakto nandun si Don Ramon nagiikot with other Lay ministers, napansin kase nila si Y. And then, yun na kwento kwento about how we ask PP to intercede for my pregnancy, until inivte nila kame sa office mismo pero everytime naman na gusto namen dumaan, fuzzy si Y. I don't know what's next after I dropped my testimonial letter yesterday  ;)

Lia, totoo?  Ma-traffic sa Tagaytay?  Nakupo, kailangan kasi namin talaga pumunta to check out a property din sana.

Yung sa Shoppers, mas masarap after sitting in the fridge overnight.

Mura lang butter loaf ni Shoppers, P120/loaf if I remember correctly.

Marose, when you go to Tagaytay, you can take Sta. Rosa and the new SLEX but get off the 2nd to the last ramp or else you end up in Zapote Road.  Ever since the NLEX came up, I prefer going North!

Yes, my kids went to MI :D  Most of the kids there are confident.  I love that the kids there are not in a hurry to grow up.  Their childhood is preserved and there are no name brands even if the kids there can afford it and we don't have uniforms.

My kids will love PP if they can light candles too.  Is there a drop box for petitions like Santa Clara?

As for Fontana, better if you are endorsed by a member and you have to get a reservation. Better yet, if your endorser will give you discount tickets for the villa! If your member doesn't use their water park tickets, ask for it para libre ang pasok niyo. Remember to tell your yayas not to wear shorts with zipper when swimming (with swimsuit), they will not be able to swim.

Grabe.. now I'm craving for butter loaf! LOL

Thanks for the tips.  We usually take Sta.Rosa exit pero we'll take Eton exit this time.  Sa Tagaytay proper traffic din malamang.

Nesz, client ko ang New World.  Ako ang nag-incorporate ng hotel management company. ;)

Yes, ang ibig mong sabihin ay extrajudicial agreement on support ba?  If so, valid as long as the parties agree.  However, unlike a court-ordered support, kapag nag-default si hubby sa support payments, mahirap maningil.

If you meant an extrajudicial settlement of your estate, well, hindi usually kasama ang tungkol sa support doon.

(Tour of the Fireflies) or hanggang San mateo or antipolo - nakakarating diyan si hubby ko.

As in dahon talaga, parang fern ata. Wala naman kami nakita. And on our way to PP, may re-enactment ang 1 simbahan, may nakita ako nakasakay pa sa horse tapos naka-damit Jew talaga sila. Then, naglagay ng balbas.

Nesz - ay sus! kwentuhang shoes na naman, hahaha! in denial pa ako sa Umi at Pediped na yan, saka na ako titingin  ;D Pero last weekend, I was looking for a havs tsinelas for Y kaso wala siya size eh.

LOL promise i will print a copy of our names and handles na!

iba feeling when you talk to him... parang pari na talaga kausap namin... si hubby parang chummy chummy lang with him since he grew up knowing him eh ako panay kwento ko lang sya nakilala.. very inspiring ang buhay nya..

marose,
over ang traffic sa tagaytay pag holy thursday.. OA grabe... specially yung mga areas na malapit sa simbahan.. like yung pink sisters, our lady of lourdes and svd if you know shortcuts/long cuts.. don na kayo dumaan..
svd, pink sisters, a small chapel inside a retreat house near pink sisters, ina ng laging saklolo, st. francis, our lady of lourdes, st. rita chapel and somascan chapel..

pero minsan sa sobrang traffic we forego going to lourdes, ina ng laging saklolo, st. francis..
mag pakr kami sa ...svd  tapos we walk papunta ng pink sisters..kasi may daanan doon sa likod connecting the two areas.. lalakad ka sa coffee plantation hehe! over kasi ang traffic sa pink sisters!!

pero since may alert level warning...di natin sure baka matakot mga tao to go to tagaytay fopr the holy week..

if i may ask marose..sang property kayo tumitingin?

regarding butter cake
they used to buy the vargas butter cake noon pa.. so when i saw meron pa sa may rustans bumili ako for my f-inlaw..
hala pinintasan kasi "it's not as good as before" daw..
baka daw hinde vargas ang binili ko.. so i tasted it... ang sarap kaya!!

We used to be active sa church nung nasa pinas kami.. pursisyon, bisita iglesia mula north to soutch.. easter egg hunt.. lahat! nakaka miss ng sobra! choir and reader sa church.. legion of Mary.. sigh.. i miss those days.. dito every Sunday na lang at minsan naskip ko pa kasi may pasok ako pag weekend.. :(

I research research mo na.. hehe! Isched na ang pagkakape..

Client mo new world? Naku sikat sila dun!

And yes, very inspiring ang buhay ni Don Ramon.

Pia - Barbie tsinelas yun! 199 lang yun! ang mura di ba? Pero ayos naman sa paa ni Y. Since di pa naman talaga niya ilalakad yun, kumbaga if makakapag beach kame sa province eh pwede na pang-sapin sa paa niya (since mainit sa shore). Yung Havs, bibilhin ko pa lang sa ebay, nag contact muna ako sa seller if may other colors. Natuwa nga ako, may kumasya na. LOL!

Mahirap kaya.  Tapos, pet peeve nila ang paper place mats LOL.  Pero, appreciative naman sila.

Jen, may Havaianas dati ang boys ko when they were little, yung may strap pa sa likod. Mas malambot siya for me.

;D Pero now, yung pinundar nya na DSLR, susme! ayun nakay BIL! kainis nga! As in kainis to the max!!! That long na na nakay BIL un! grrrrr!!! Mahal na hobby ang photography talaga, pero si hubby yung DSLR lang binili  ;D mga lens etc na accessories, mostly hand me downs na from my SIL's hubby naman na corporate photographer ng isang company sa US. Kaya tipid! Ina-aye nga ni hubby eh ma-hand me down sa kanya yung Mark IV or VI ata yun na camera  ;D
