Feeling ko kasi sis minsan kailangan pa silang kalabitin bago gumalaw haha. Nakailang message pa ko sa FB page nila for my first package.

Ako naman, pag nakita ko sa tracking na na-receive na ng JAC ang package, nage-estimate na lang ako 7-10 days for the receipt. Tapos hintay ko na lang text na dumating na sa manila. Kasi from experience naman, pinapadala din naman nila agad sa next available flight (Tuesday/Thursday yata pag NJ/NY, if i remember correctly) after they receive the package in their US address. Nagka-delay lang nung nagka-typhoon Sandy, which is understandable naman.. Like @mama_squeak, di din ako makulit na client. I usually just contact them to give the tracking numbers, then yun na yun.

Aside from waiving handling fees for multiple parcels, another consideration na binibigay nila is they average actual and dimensional weights pag malalaking boxes, para mas bumaba weight for fee computation. Natuwa talaga ako when i learned na ganun ginawa nila for one batch of my previous packages..

i'm expecting a package from them bought at amazon. usually every wednesday ko narereceive package ko sa Dian branch. but up until now wala pa. nakailang tawag na ko. siguro nadedelay na nga sila dahil sa holiday season.

Went to Johnny Air Megamall to inquire about consolidation. Hindi daw sila nagcoconsolidate

^sis, they used to offer that service before with a corresponding fee of USD25 per consolidation. But now I think they stopped it , discretion na lang siguro nila to consolidate parcels. But for regular clients they always do it even without your asking. The operative word there is "regular". Aside from being regular clients you also have to make sure the parcels arrive within 2-3 days from each other. They always consolidate my parcels as-is as they arrive or they re-pack them in one big box.

Planning to buy a watch from amazon. $400 original price but nakasale sya so $64 na lang. How much ba rates ng JAC per lb? and what is the first step kung gusto ko iship yung item ko through them?

Back to JAC, you can order sa Amazon then have it shipped sa US address ng Johnny Air. Check their website na lang for their addresses para makapili ka (they have NY, NJ and CA). And take note also of the prescribed format ng package addressee (JETC *your name*). I usually ship my packages sa NJ address (cheaper or no sales tax).

Once me notice na from Amazon na na-ship na, email JAC that you are expecting a package, and give JAC the tracking number. Let them know din if you want it delivered or ipi-pickup mo either from Makati or Megamall. Once na-receive nila, they'll include your package in the next scheduled flight. May magti-text sa yo pag dumating na dito sa Manila ang package, with the corresponding amount ng babayaran mo.

Rate is usd5.99/lb, minimum two pounds + usd5 handling/processing fee (forgot exact term) + 12% VAT.

For a watch, i think it'll be about 2-3lbs, depends on the packaging ng seller. Kaka-order ko lang camera lens last month, and i paid for 3lbs sa JAC kasi seller put the original lens box in another (bigger) box, then pinalibutan ng bubble wrap for extra protection.

Matagal ba ma receive yung mga packages ngayon kasi Christmas season?My package kasi arrived at their NYC office on the 17th. Sabi this friday pa daw dadating sa megamall yung package ko (28th). So parang 10 days yung package ko with them. Counted ba yung weekends sa usual 5-7 days nila?

^ sis ako nga, 13th pa dumating sa kanila yung package ko hanggang ngayon wala akong nababalitaan. I tried e-mailing Gen peo walang reply. Tinext ko si Trixie and nagreply sya, sabi may bagong dating daw kanina na sinosort pa sa Customs, hopefully nandon yung packages natin.

Si Jova yung contact ko. I left her a message sa fb account ng johnny air. Sabi sa Friday pa daw yung akin. In fairness mabilis siya mag reply. Grabe mas matagal nga yung sayo. Maybe you can ask them to waive the handling fee. I am planning to do that kasi more than 7 days na eh.

Nung 17th daw umalis yung package ko, yun daw yung earliest na schedule base sa pagdating sa kanila. Baka sa business days nila, bawas yung holidays (kasi sarado naman sila?). So kung bibilangin nga, mas matagal ng 1 day kasi holiday nung 24 haha. Basta aantayin ko na lang text bukas or so, pag wala pa sa Friday, kahit next year ko na kunin. Wala pa naman akong pambayad sa fee nila e hehe

I'm leaving the country on the January 1, I hope dumating siya before then. Hay kung alam ko lang matagal I should have just shipped it to my friend's address or my cousin who will fly to manila a few days from now.

Yung sa brother ko kasi eh 5 days lang or less from the time they received the item sa nyc office nila.
