hi, may mga terms dun depends on the hotel. some charges 50% upon booking or may dates na naka indicate when they gonna charge.
Normally pag free cancellation may dates until when pwede mag cancel. Just look for that
 
Also, meron din yung charge upon check in. What i can say all the terms and conditions said there are true.

mom_c we've cancelled na sa booking.com (free cancellation), hindi nacharge ang credit card namin for the cancellation. at mali-mali pa nga ang booking ng mother-in-law ko, so may mga inedit pa kami. ok lahat sa booking.com.

I use booking.com a lot and I know sa hotel na ang charges (ie the hotel has to swipe the card) kase booking.com needs the detail lang for guarantee.

^Agree! Very convenient ang booking.com. Like nung past trip ko last week lang, yung friend namin na sasama sana sa trip eh nawalan ng wallet, so nawala yung EU resident's card nya at di sya pwedeng magtravel out of his country of residence.  Partida 6 days na lang bago ang hotel booking namin pero napabago pa namin yung hotel details.  And sa dami ko nang booking sa booking.com lagi namang sa hotel na mismo ang bayad :-)

i also like booking.com more than agoda. more often they are cheaper, and do not require advance payment

I booked a hotel here two years ago and I booked again here for my upcoming trip.  Mas gusto ko dito co you settle upon checkout and it's usually cheaper.

Safe ba talaga dito mag book? And wala talaga machacharge sa credit card ko if i choose to pay cash sa hotel?

^ Yes.  It's safe.  I've used this site twice or thrice na.

There are two options so you must read carefully: 1) book now, pay later - you may cancel this up to 48 hours before the date reserved; 2) special offer wherein heavily discounted ang rate - not subject to cancellation; pay later pa rin ang mode.

I often choose the first option since I plan my trips months in advance.  Nakakahinayang naman kung hindi ko maka-cancel in case something comes up.

hi mga sis na nakapag try na sa booking.com, clarify ko lang kung upon arrival ba sa hotel swipe na agad credit card ginamit for booking or ok din cash payment? thank you!

mom_c - hi sis, pwedeng cash pwede rin card. kami yung nagpabook kami then upon check out cash ang binayad namin. Not sure if lahat sa hotels pwede yun.

winkypops - sa booking.com upon check in sis, though meron ibang hotels na inoffer yung booking.com na no cancelation (kasi ma charge na ata agad ang credit card)

pinkalicious - yup safe sis, walang macharge, just read yung restrictions ng hotel kasi may ibang hotel na upon booking may 30 to 50% dp muna so need mo muna check yun. yung iba naman no cancelation. kasi once na i cancel mo, ma charge ang credit card mo.

Very convenient sakin tong site na to. Book ako, then if need i cancel, okay lang. basta a week before yung date of stay. Mabilis din magreply yung mga contact persons na posted dun sa website nila.  I always use this site kapag magpapabook. Feeling ko no commitments agad, kasi just in case di ka matuloy, hindi masaayang yung ibabayad mo sa credit card kasi di naman sya ma charge agad.

Booking.com is amsterdam-based and yes it's a very reliable website. We always make our hotel bookings here and di nagkakapriblema .

Mga sis pag non-refundable charge agad ang credit card. Pero most naman sa booking.com pwede ma-cancel.

Just read the terms and condtions, iba iba kasi ang policy per hotel.
Lagi ako dito nag book. wala ako nagiging problema.

Generally the same experience  as our sisses here.  Never had a problem with booking.com. I have used the  site  to reserve accommodations in Las Vegas, San Francisco, San Diego, Melbourne, Sydney, Hongkong, Macau, Singapore, Siem Reap and locally in Boracay, Puerto Princesa, Davao, Cebu, Legazpi, Baguio and CDO.

Tried and tested nadi n namin ang booking.com. We prefer this than agoda. We booked them for our accommodations sa bangkok, phuket, bali, legazpi. Lahat naman ealang naging prob and usually free upgrade pa kami ng room pagdating sa hotel.

Pag non-refundable ba, i-charge na agad sa credit card mo yun? Or during check in i-swipe mo yung card to pay?

^ Check the terms and conditions, sis.  Pag-non-refundable kasi, that's the best price na or malapit na ang booking date mo.  I always choose the option na may free cancellation though.

I prefer booking.com to Agoda.  Usually cheaper dito and if you log in as a member, you get informed of secret deals.

Hi! I use to always book thru agoda but lately parang mas mahal na siya and some hotels especially the budget friendly ones are no longer included in their list. Now, parang okay yun booking.com kaya lang you will pay na pala when you get to your hotel. How will we know the exact amount that we are going to pay since price quoted on the booking.com are in PHP while if we pay at the hotel eh local currency of the specific country?
