last time nagpunta ako kay Dra. Sese, then ayun kasi medyo recurrent tong infection ko.. then niprescribed niya ko ng doxin then flagyslatin at suppository.. ok naman na ko ngayon. Question ko sis, dapat ba kong bumalik kay Dra para naman sa pap smear? malapit na ko magkaroon, tapusin ko na lang ba muna period ko then saka ko pumunta sa kanya ulit? if yes, ilang days after period ko ako babalik?

Mga sis help. Nagpunta ko healthway atc kahapon to para magpacheck ng vagina ko kasi may color green discharge ako na mejo mabaho yung smell pero hindi naman itchy. Ang available na obgyne dun e si doc grace manalo, sya yung nagcheck up sakin, and then she told me na may vaginal infection ako tsaka may sugat daw yung cervix ko. So niresetahan nya ko ng supository for 7 days at binentahan nya ko ng antibiotic na 14 pcs nolcif at fem wash na it cost 250, basta ang lahat ng bnayad ko dun sa gmot at fem wash is total of 1225, ang sabi pa nya sakanya ko nalang bayaran yun kasi may tax pa daw dun sa pharmacy nila kung dun ako bibili, iba pa yung consultation fee nya na binayaran ko sa cahier. Tapos pinapsmear nya ko at gram stain na sa sat ko malalaman yung result. Tapos i need to have my ultrasound and urinalysis this week. Then when i got home nagresearch ako regarding kay dra. Grace manalo, may nabasa akong negative feedback about her na namemera sya, yung fem wash na binenta nya sakin 150 lang pala yun sa botika, at lahat ata ng pasyente nya binebentahan nya ng sapilitan. Pero yung antibiotic na binenta nya sakin hindi ko pa sure kung magkano sa botika yun. And now im planning na magpalit ng ibang ob, but nkaschedule ako sa kanya sa sat para makita yung result ng papsmear at gram stain ko, pati na rin dun sa ultrasound at urinalysis ko.

So mga sis parang natakot na ko magpaconsult sa kanya kasi baka next time kung ano nanaman ang ibenta nya sakin, kasi budgeted ko lang yung pera ko tapos mamemera pa sya. Pede bang sabihin ko sa nurse don na sa ibang ob ko nalang papabasa yung result ng mga lab test ko? Or baka kasi hanapin ako ni dra. Manalo if ever di ako bumalik sa kanya. Help naman..

^ you have the right to change OB anytime you wish. besides, any OB is competent enough to read your papsmear/gram stain results.

hi! i came across this thread after searching for solutions to my problem. findings from my pap smear 2 months ago says i have "Fungal organisms morphologically consistent with candida spp" but my OB did not give me any meds because i was pregnant then. i had miscarriage a month after  and now the itching returns with very very light yellowish discharge. this is the main reason why my OB suggested pap smear in the first place. mashado daw madami [textspeak!] discharge and she's wondering why. but after several checkups, we failed to discuss the findings. can anyone here explain what is it that i have and if i need to take meds na? im worried na kase e...

@apriluscious_03, hi sa kanya mo ba kukunin mismo yung result ng pap smear/gram stain mo? kung hindi naman you can change OB at dun mo ipabasa, well ikuwento mo lahat ng sinabi mo din kay doc.. kung kelan mo naramdaman yan. kung anong gamot ang nireseta and so forth... para may basehan yung magiging bagong OB mo.

Hello! Im a newbie here.  Actually nagbabasa natalaga ako before dito sa Female Network.

Hmm Meron ba sa inyo ang nakakaranas ng Yellow Watery Vaginal Discharge.. It's very disgusting 'cause it has a foul odor.  Hindi pa ako nakakapag pacheck up coz I dont have time para mag punta sa doctor. I dont feel any Urinary pain and itch.. yun lang talaga as in yellow watery discharge lang.. Dont have any idea kung bakit ako may ganun.. 

Can you help me about my concern?..

Sis better have yourself checked asap and consult another OB Gyne. Also, you should undergo another papsmear test. During pregnancy may tendency talaga maging imbalanced ang hormones at mag cause ng too much growth ng yeast/candida/fungus inside your vagina. If yellowish discharge could also be vaginosis caused by bacteria. Drink probiotic supplement. Avoid sweets and use vinegar and water solution to wash your vagina while your on medication.

There are cases din talaga like mine, na di masabi ano reason ng infection.. saakin nga negative ang mga papsmear result ko palagi but lagi may infection/inflammation up to the cervix. Goodluck sis!

Hi mga sis..I'm a newbie here. Dati na ko nagbabasa ng mga threads dito and its really a big help. Nag join na ako kase I have similar problem.. hope to get help, advises and tips from you..Madalas kase ma irritate yung vagina ko pati singit..mahapdi and itchy..ph care gamit ko yung coold wind, hiyang naman ako dun dati pero siguro ngayon hindi na and yung isa pang prob, parang may fungal infection ako on top of the vagina, top of the clitoris hood..I got worried and scared when I saw it...Never pa ko nagpacheck sa obgyn kase di naman ako sexually active and Im not experiencing foul smell discharge. I'm planning to see one..Recommend naman po kayo ng mabait na female obgyn. I'm in quezon city area. TIA. Do you also experience this fungal thing?

I`m sorry to hear that sis.. I hope natural treatments would work... avoid sexual contact muna. And improve diet talaga.

*Ang gawin mo for the mean time. Wash twice with unscented vaginal wash (it has to be diluted) then you rinse with vinegar & water solution (2caps full/2tbsp vinegar in a dipper full of water). Make sure na yun dipper mo malinis, you have to wash it with sponge and dishwashing liquid, rinse it well. Madalas kasi ang dipper since lagi wet nag grow ang bacteria, fungus, or molds. My doctor told me na regular vinegar will do. What it does is that it helps make your vagina acidic, pag may infection kasi nagiging alkaline ang ph ng vagina.

*Pag itchy naman ang V mo apply VCO, it works for me. Naturally anti bacterial and anti viral ang VCO.

*After mag poop as well clean your anus with cotton na may VCO, madalas din kasi nakaka kuha tayo bacteria and stuff after pooping, kaya prone tayo to UTI and vaginal infections. Always make sure na pagka wash mo ipa dry mo muna ang V before you wear undies.  Also, iron your undies before use para sure ka na mamatay ang germs.

*I`ve read online na madami women who have tried using plain yogurt as a natural treatment due to the good bacteria content, I just haven`t tried it yet. But maybe you can look for testimonials ng mga women na naka try na and see also how they do it. Ang alam ko lang they dip the tampon sa yogurt then insert it. Baka may other options pa.

Really hope na mag work sayo. but after a week or two pag hindi pa ok try mo na siguro mag vaginal suppository. Kasi pag di mo maagapan could lead to cervicitis, or pelvic inflammatory disease... mas mahirapan ka. So tignan mo maige sis. If you start having pelvic pains at mas maging worse ang symptoms pa doctor ka na talaga... maybe you could look for more affordable na smaller community clinics. Mas magastos kasi pag di maagapan, just like what happened to me. I had to go under cervical cautery pa.

^ I think it's the Neo Penotran. I got that sour smell (and taste, acc to bf) too after using it. I had to take 7, so medyo marami. It eventually went away. But after a few weeks my BV came back so maybe it's a good thing that you can still sense the meds, it's a sign that it's still there and working.

I have a question. What do you do now to prevent your BV from recurring?

I just want to share lang...

si hubby kasi nagkaroon ng penile discharge, nag appear yung discharge sabi niya white discharge daw... after 1 day na nag sex kami which is pang-5th day na ng menstruation ko... uminom agad siya ng antibiotic, pero self-prescribed nya lang yun.. baka by Tuesday pa siya makapag pa-checkup kasi day off nya..

worried lang ko kung san niya nakuha yun... 2 years na kami active sa sex at ngayon lang nangyari yun..

sa part ko naman, ang napansin ko prior nung nagka-discharge siya masakit ang puson pero kasi nga magkaka-mens na ako.. and I remember na may white thick discharge ako na walang smell.. dinedma ko lang yun kasi nga baka magkakaroon lang ako or fertile something.. 

magpapa checkup din ako after niya...  I don't know tuloy kung sa akin ba niya yun nakuha or what... wala naman akong naka-sex na iba sa 2 years na mag-asawa kami bukod  sa kanya..

sana lang this is not serious... we're planning to have baby pa naman soon...

mk_23, sorry i just read your reply. i tried washing with vinegar and water solution. well, it lessen the discharge and reduced the itching. but when i checked it today it looks weird. may rashes sa side ng clit na mejo itchy. hindi sa mismong clit, dun sa pinaka-cheeks nya. reddish [textspeak!] shade ng skin and visible [textspeak!] rashes even though they're really small. [textspeak!] tip ng clit may rashes din. it's not so itchy naman but im worried about it na talaga. i did not feel any pain anywhere except sa slight itching. i really want to go to the doctor na talaga but i really cannot afford the fees especially if i will be required to undergo some tests. im really worried na talaga...

abby0621, sis, bakit hindi ka magpatingin sa health center sa barangay nyo or sa place nyo... mas mura ang bayad sa mga ganun kesa sa private.. baka may malapitan ka din dun na mga government agencies na tumutulong sa walang kakayahang magpagamot tsaka sa mga health center sa barangay alam ko libre ang gamot o di kaya mas mura. 

wag mo na patagalin yan.. hindi yan makukuha sa paghuhugas ng tubig at vinegar, kasi panandalian lang yung mga ganun... kailangan mo espesyalista at gamot, mas mahihirapan ka kung lumala pa yan..

nagpacheckup me doctor kasi planning to have a baby. one of the steps to check is to know if may infections kasi baka mamatay agad sperms. First papsmear ko moderate inflammation (no symptoms) sabi ng ob ko may sugat ang vaginal walls ko. Pwede daw nakuha ko bec nakipagmakelove ng Hindi well lubricated or malaki si mister. Prescribed albothyl 6 vaginal suppositories every other night. After treatment, manual nilinis yung natirang tissues like sa loob... Yun ata ang nagtake effect na gamot. Kusa naman lalabas kapag nagincrease water intake. pero para to make sure inexamined ng ob ko. then after a month... repeat papsmear to check if naghealed na talaga. kagagaling ko lang ng bohol that time. eto nanaman mild inflammation due to fungal infection. 1 oral tablet of fluconazole. eto may symptoms... kasi  palagi me naiihi saka masakit sa puson kapag ihi. parang may cramps. then lumipat ako ng ob. pinagvaginal analysis me (no symptoms, protocol lang nung new ob ko). parang procedure ng papsmear pero mas thorough yung examination ng specimen. sa stlukes ginawa pero sa up pgh dinala (nakaindicate kasi sa result from pgh). siguro sa pgh lang meron nun? haha ayun wala naman major problem like infection. may super mild lang. pinagvaginal tablet me fluimucin for 5 nights. tapos okay na. basta mga sis stay away sa mga ph care, lactacyd, kahit betadine wag everyday. kasi matatapang toh. mas okay pa kung water and super mild soap minsan. stay away din sa sweets mas madali magbuild up ng bacteria ang mataas ang sugar. hope that helps!

^ itzzmeeh: what kind of neopenotran did you use? i find that the more expensive one (i forget the name) works better. nawala na BV ko after using 2 suppositories. before, i used 7 suppositories of the cheaper kind, hindi nawala.
