I strongly advise against dealing with fixers, kaya nga madaming hindi marunong sa daan dahil nagdaan lamang sa mga fixers. Madali lamang ang exam, sa practical atras abante lang naman.

Kaya di nawawala ang masakit na ulong fixers sa LTO eh... some people do pay for them because I think they believe - mas mapapabilis ang pagprocess or they could just through hoops.

Ang dali lang naman magprocess ng mga papers ngayon - renewals, car registration - pero mukhang malakas pa ang business nila because I think some people think pahirapan pa rin ang pila when in fact, it will not take you more than an hour to finish all.

I agree with anslim, the driving exams are very easy - easy enough to give jobs to those who will do driving as a living. The actual driving situation is the more difficult one - when you have to decide things for yourself when you are on the road.

So, no... don't give those fixers a job. Kung noon nakakatulong sila to speed up, but now, they are robbing you of your money.  Mas mabilis na ngayon if you do things yourself na.

^Sis yung sa Kawit, Cavite licensing center nakita ko parang mini-truck. Yung mga nagdedeliver ng mineral water sa bahay-bahay. Yes, manual sya. Nakita ko atras-abante tapos park ang pinagawa dun sa nagppractical.

I also did not seek the help of a fixer nung time na kumuha ako ng license. Si hubby lang, dami kasi issues ng license nya, delinquent na plus limited lang ang time nya sa Manila, kaya ayun.

Ako, halos buong araw ako sa loob ng LTO Las Pinas nung kumuha ng non pro. Sariling sikap. Pwede naman agahan nyo, tipong 7am andun na kayo.

I went to LTO Tayuman and saw 2 test cars, Suzuki Alto. May rental fee daw na 250 if you will use it for drive test.

Yes, at least 1 month old valid SP to upgrade to a Non- Prof. License.

Student permit: applicant must be at least 16 years old. ( Student driver must be accompanied by a duly licensed driver being non-prof. or prof. when operating a motor vehicle. )

Non - Prof. : applicant must be at least 17 years old. You can drive vehicles ( Gross weight is up to 4500kgs.) You may also drive motorcycle but your license should have RC-1.

Prof. : applicant must be at least 18 years old. You can drive for hire vehicles ( PUJ, PUV and Taxi )
You can drive vehicles subject to the restrictions at the back of your license.

Many mistook having a professional driver's license means you are a better driver than a non-prof. licensee holder, it just means you are using your license as means of livelihood. ( Panghanapbuhay)

Maganda sa LTO East Avenue, meron driving track. Me 3 motorcycles for rent 150. Me 2-3 Alto cars for rent 250. A1 car for Red1/A1 students. Not sure about Smart. Mejo sabay-sabay ang test drive, so may naka-motor iikot, may car iikot, both a-akyat sa bridge/ramp. One round lang naman.
Once you pass the written exam and paid the rent fee pwede na yata mag practical exam.
A bit late morning start ng driving tests kasi nag-exam pa mga students and drug test and medical.

I got 37/40. I had 5 unsure answers kasi a bit confusing e.
Also passed the hands-on. Yey!
I took tagalog exam kasi mas sure na ako sa answers based on online/offline reviewers. Sa English kasi mas naguluhan ako sa answers ng reviewer e, parang masmalabo.

Parang malalim yung Tagalog sa exam ha.

Single yellow line - this separates two lanes with traffic moving in different directions.  It means not to cross the line to overtake.  Answer is C.

I find the questions in tagalog quite terse and hard to understand.  Like the word paglusot.  I never would have understood that it means overtake from reading the question.  You might want to take the test in english.

Towards the curb.

A lot of motorists don't practice this though. Straight pa rin ang gulong. That's dangerous, kasi kung mawalan ng preno...

Unlike those na yung gulong nakapoint sa curb. Pag nawalan ng preno at least may curb, gate, wall or empty lot na pupuntahan.
