Driver's License: student permit, non-professional, professional

kapag automatic dala ka ng auto mo tapos syempre dapat may kasama kang licensed. Nung kumuha ako sa lto tayuman kasama ko yung friend ko na may auto dapat yun yung gagamitin ko pang test drive eh kasi pwede naman kaso lang inabot na kasi ko ng maghapon kaya umalis na rin yung friend ko, end up nag rent ako ng car.Manual lang yung sakanila, Kia Picanto yun.

Ang car registration renewal ba dapat talaga sa LTO head office?

car registration, kahit saan LTO. Pa-car emission test muna, then kuha ng insurance, tapos cocopy nila ang body # ng car at makina mo. Then ayun punta nalang sa pinakamalapit na LTO.

Pero kung change name, change color at change engine, kailangan kung saan naka-register ang car, doon kang LTO pupunta. Kasi hahanapin nila doon ang C.R ng kotse.

you can fixers... honestly yun lang yung way na no driving test na ibibigay sayo. then yung written exams may sagot pa.. (kasi sister ko had fixer 4 years ago). mga 2500 yun lahat lahat na andun

^sis sa lahat ng napagtanungan ko kahit may fixer may driving exam pa rin. Ang benefit lang ng fixer hindi kana pipila. Mag driving school ka kasi pag A1 halimbawa at least may tutulong sayo sa testing center mismo.

Got my non-pro license last Monday at LTO Tayuman
8am nagpa medical at drug test ako P400, haba ng pila 9am na ako natapos  at nakapasok sa LTO
Sa labas they offer a copy of reviewer, 20p 70% of questions lumabas sa exam
9am submitted my papers tapos tatawagin for photo capture matagal rin ito, after which wait 30mins tatawagin for payment 167p if i'm not mistaken.

Wait ako ng turn for written exam,grabe ang tagal akong tawagin inabot na ako after lunch, and true computerized na exam at impossible na po sa ngayon na may sagot na exam. Yung friend kong kasama,may fixer siya, bayad siya 2k bumagsak siya kasi English kinuha niyang exam,walang naitulong fixer,balik siya next month for re-take.

Around 3:00 tinawag na ako for practical exam, wala akong dalang sasakyan so bayad ako rent ng 250. Ang ginamit ko ay Kia Picanto, may route sa labas ng LTO, dun mismo sa Tayuman iikot ka sa mga kalye dun hanggang sa magpark pabalik s LTO.

4:00 pinagbayad na ako ng 417p,confirmed na pasado ka kapag nagbayad ng ganitong amount, kasi kakausapin ka nung evaluator kapag hindi ka pasado,eh hindi ako kinausap so nag-intay lang ako for my name to be called.

4:45 nakuha ko na ang non-pro license.sa wakas.

Total= P1300 or less, hindi po kailangan ng fixer,kaya naman po eh.

Just got my non-pro license today at LTO Tayuman, like FaBems.  Dami kong mga kat@ngahang ginawa, pero buti na lang I got my license.

Nagpa-assist ako sa Socialites kasi I didn't want to go through the hassle of going through the practical exam.  Long story but I had to go to TWO LTO branches today, because ang aking driver ay nagmamagaling.   

For those who are thinking of having a driving school assist them, here's what happened with me:

1.   Socialite instructed me to look for a person at the LTO.  The LTO person asked me to go to ELK medical center for the medical certificate.  Wala pang 5 minutes, tapos na.  Kuha lang ng height, weight, and eye check-up.  I took my drug test in another LTO branch kaya nung nasa Tayuman na ako, medical certificate na lang.

2.   The LTO officer in-charge told me to answer a sample exam.  But I actually reviewed last night so ok lang.  BTW, here's the reviewer (as someone posted on the first page):  http://issuu.com/danmacatuno/docs/lto_reviewer.  Andyan na halos lahat ng items sa exam.

3.  I waited for about an hour before I got to take the exam.  Ok lang, madali sya if you reviewed the questions above.  The person in-charge of the test asked everyone if they prefer Tagalog or English.  Lahat kami Tagalog ang pinili.  Mas madali aralin ang Tagalog; less tricky answers.

4.  After which, I went back to the LTO officer and yun kaunting tatak tatak lang, then pinapunta ako sa isa pang LTO officer para tatakan yung practical exam ko (which was already waived).

5.  Antay ng mga isang oras for releasing.  Naabutan kasi ng lunch and lecture.

All in all, I was there for 3.5 hours. Naabutan kasi ng lunch time kaya medyo matagal.  But if I was there really early, I would've finished in 2 hours.

I paid 2K to Socialite para they could assist me.  For me, mas napadali because of Socialite.  Kasi if kung walang nag-assist, baka napatagal ako sa pag-aantay ng releasing ng results ng test and sa practical exam. Yung mga nakasabay ko kasi, di pa rin sila tapos sa pag-aantay ng results ng exam when I got my license. Anyway, that's just my experience.

well not in my case.. i didnt take the practical exam and my first license was through a fixer...

^may i know kung san lto yan? how much did you pay sa fixer mo? hehe narineg ko din kase sa tito ko na depende kung alin sa mga exams ang gusto mo i skip. hehe so i know na possible din na hinde na mag practical exam lalo na kung may dala ka sarileng car.

sa akin sa LTO Las Pinas. I paid 2500.. all in na. (medical and all).... although I've been driving na for longest time before i get my license talaga..

Mga sis, ask ko lang ule if sa lahat ba ng lto office pwede kumuha ng new non pro license? Dito kasi ako sa south area, not sure kung san pwede. kumuha ko ng student permit sa lto muntinlupa.

Btw, down yata kasi yung site ng lto, hindi ko tuloy alam where i can get the info.

Sis, di lahat ng LTO offices di pwede kumuha ng non-pro license.  Yan ang naging problem ko when I applied for my license.  Sabi kasi ng driver namin pwede sa LTO Biak na Bato.  Turned out, pang-renewal lang yun.  So ayun, kailangan ko pa pumunta sa LTO Tayuman.  I got mine in Tayuman so you might want to apply there.

ano ba requirements to get a non-pro license? err, may nagsabi saken kailangan pa ng police clearance. diba pang pro lang yun?

i had a fixer too... when i was in college! i badly needed another id... i only have 1 so i had to get a driver's license  i learned how to drive later on
