Hello, ziontrec. I dont mind at all. I need a pacer din. Pa-pace :-) let me know kung ok lang. Wala kasi ako kasama sa running team namen na mag 42k eh. Lahat sila 21k.

Attended my first running event last weekend.  4 mile trail run with over 400 feet of gain.  It was aswesome!  I only hike and trail run on the weekends, I wish I could go more often.

Hello everyone, I noticed may thread for running and training shoes na, I'm not sure kung meron na din thread specifically for running alone. Disregard nalang this if so.  :D

Running is my favorite form of exercise (cardio), bukod sa madaming muscles na-hit, free pa and nakaka happy tumakbo sa labas.  :D

How's your running journey Sis/Bro? I can say that after almost 3 years of running nasa moderate palang din ako, as far as my pace, nasa 6.30 min/km ako, and sa duration 30 mins maximum 35 mins straight, mga 4-4.30 km non stop.

I started really weak, as in walang alam sa exercises and all, running unang una ko tinry and I remember kung gano ako kahina, I used to run for only 1 minute and halos ikamatay ko na sa hingal and sakit sa legs. But I pushed and pushed so hard kaya yung 1 minute became 5, 5 became 10 then 15, then 30 to 35 max.

I run faster and longer sa treadmill, but I find running outdoor more challenging, kaya I prefer to run sa labas.

Sad to say, medyo pa stop stop ako, and yo yo dieting, so there are times na I would stop for a week and then resume mga 3-4 x a week. I guess that's why di na ko nagprogress, I aimed to run for 45 mins to 1 hr na sana this 2017, kaso lumamig ng sobra dito sa Qatar so I stopped for almost 3 weeks.

Pero I am working out indoor naman, kaya lang iba talaga effect sakin ng running outdoors. I'm happy I started again last night. Finished a strong 31 mins, 4.30 km at 7 min/km after 3 loooong weeks of no running.

Nice, sis Rory_Lorelie_Gilmore! Same here, sa gym ako usually for the treadmill. I strive to run  for 45 minutes and then weights after, 3x a week.

I started running last year, naalala ko hindi ko kaya talaga na tumakbo straight for 5 minutes! I was not really motivated but after talking to my sister, I realized that I had set myself up. I was aiming a pace of 8km/ her or 9km/ hour and I was too tired, it was too destructive. Good thing I learned 2 things: interval training and the importance of using a heart rate monitor. After computing for my fat burning rate, I became more effective and efficient in my runs. It?s not perfect, but at least I was able to ease myself into running outdoors for 1 hour straight (short distance lang naman) but at least maintaining my optimum fat burning rate of 155-165beats per minute. Small steps lang pero I?m proud of my progress.

M_Y_S4n_ TRUE, iba din pag namemeasure either distance, heart rate, burned fat by calories, or simpleng time, bukod sa you'll be in track, parang nachachallenge ka pa to do better the next time.  :D

How to start running? Pasensya na if my question sounds st*pid. Whenever I think of running, naiisip ko yung todong mabilis na takbo. I'm not a big fan of running but I haven't tried pa so I might change my mind din. I've done a lot of cardio exercise and mabilis ako magsawa kaya gusto ko rin mag try.

backreading is the key to a successful trip ;D

Ang lakas palang makapagpapayat ng pagtakbo!  Ngayon ko lang na-realize.  Hubby is running kasi 3x a week and sobrang laki ng pinayat niya!  I should also start running...
