^Thanks Sis.  Actually 3 yrs ago a friend told me that to have my feet checked nga daw para I will know what shoes to buy.  Di ko lang talaga alam kung saan ako papacheck dito.

I'm currently doing some cardio and strength training at home.  Yung mga simple lang but I do this everyday.  Yesterday I started the 30day shred by Jillian Michaels in lieu to running kase right now even a 5min run outside di ko kakayanin sa sobrang init.

I will start siguro mid october when the weather is bearable na and hope may proper shoes na rin ako.

Getting fit is addicting :)

Whoa! 30Day shred? Good for you!  ;) Check RUNNR stores, they have branches in a lot of malls. They will ask you to run sa treadmill to analyze your gait and a few other analysis before they suggest a suitable pair for you.

I usually run in the mornings on weekdays, and sobrang challenging gumising at 430am! You're so dedicated, keep it up! I wish I had your drive to excercise, too!

yngatz tngats lang po sa pag takbo hah.. Sa running shoes, please lang kung gusto ninyo ng value for money mag scout muna talaga ng shoes. Mizuno, Brooks, Asics iyan po ang matibay for running, what do I mean by matibay? Iyong tatagal ng at least a year ng hindi pudpud agad ang ilalim.

So training training and target lang magagawa rin ng lahat yan

hi Gtalkers!

lets run this Saturday while helping the people who were victims of the typhoon

http://thebullrunner.com/2013/11/one-run-a-run-for-the-victims-of-typhoon-yolanda/

"Please join us as we to raise funds for the victims of Typhoon Yolanda. We ask you to donate P100 (or more) or bring bottled water, canned goods (those that can be opened without a can opener), usable singlets and shirts, and slippers or shoes, then join us for a run around Bonifacio Global City. You can run as short as 30 minutes or as long as 2 hours. Run it with running buddies, friends, family, even non-runners. Everyone is welcome to join.

No bibs, medals, lootbags, or hydration will be handed out. Please bring your own hydration. Gatorade will be there to provide a limited amount of drinks. Everything will be carried out simply so as to save what we can for those who really need it."

see you there!

Hi mga sis... just want to ask if anyone of you experienced knee pain after running? I've started running again after a long time and on my second week I started to have pain on the side of my knee caps. Any tips on how to avoid it? Thanks :-)

that might be what we call a 'runner's knee' try searching the net to find out more info on that :)
