see you! madami pa runs, practice muna to be ready for 21K :)

baka sumali rin ako sa adidas king of the road if ever sponsoran ng office namin iyong run. ;D

Hi mga sis... just want to ask if anyone of you experienced knee pain after running? I've started running again after a long time and on my second week I started to have pain on the side of my knee caps. Any tips on how to avoid it? Thanks :-)

si hubby naman... trained for 42k..
he joined Milo APEX running clinic..

mostly ang build and train sa kanila are their core muscles.. tapus kuha lang mileage atleast 21k a week...

maganda improvement nya.. though nag cramps pa rin.. still working on that..

Hi Sis! I'm a new runner myself. D ko pa kaya to run a full 5k.. I strongly suggest getting fitted for a pair of running shoes. Yun yung kamalian ko. When I started, I just used my regular rubber shoes. Eh siguro nabigla katawan ko from the couch tapos biglang umeeffort tumakbo I had all sorts of aches, pains, and minor injuries tapos I wasn't wearing the proper running shoes for my type pa. Since getting my running shoes, sobrang laki talaga ng difference - I also had to correct my running form through research lang.

Go to a specialty running store then your gait will be analyzed (underpronator, overpronator or neutral) and foot arch (high, low, neutral). They will suggest a few appropriate pairs of shoes for you.

I have  a friend din who I guess had proper running form and all that kaya regular running shoes lang sa kanya and super easy when he started, unlike me na andaming hurdles and issues. But since you have a 10k goal in January, maybe it's not worth the risk so go to a running store nalang. =D

^Thanks Sis.  Actually 3 yrs ago a friend told me that to have my feet checked nga daw para I will know what shoes to buy.

I'm currently doing some cardio and strength training at home.  Yung mga simple lang but I do this everyday.  Yesterday I started the 30day shred by Jillian Michaels in lieu to running kase right now even a 5min run outside di ko kakayanin sa sobrang init.

I will start siguro mid october when the weather is bearable na and hope may proper shoes na rin ako.

Getting fit is addicting :)
