March 18, 2012 -- 143 Go 2! A charity fun run for the Philippine Heart Center organized by a student organiztion. It'll be held at UP Diliman.

If I'm not mistaken, they have a COUPLES run where pairs run while they're tied together. Interesting activity for couples out there! :) Check details at https://www.facebook.com/143go2

^ Hi Sis! Its easy. You can start by walking for at least 30 mins/day. Pag feeling mo kaya mo na you can start jogging sa pace na comfortable ka. You can alternately jog/walk, hanggang sa maka-jog/run ka na straight for 3o mins.

the jog-walk alternately is good. as i read in pia cayetano's twitter, you can try jogging for 3 mins then 1 min walk then 3 mins jog then 1 min walk. next time, you can try 4 mins jog then 1 min walk. soon, youll be jogging/running for 30 mins without fuss.

For starters, mas advisable if you get your gait analysis first. Pag tagal you would know na what shoes you should be using. Well, that's based on my experience. When I started running, I bought the shoes recommended when I had a gait analysis. Nung mejo nagtagal, when I became a more efficient runner naiba na yung shoes that I need.

Si hubby nag half marathon na siya. Since last year pa aniya ako kino-convince.

Kaya tini-train ako ni hubby now. Kapagod pero hopefully after a month e makayanan ko nang tumakbo ng tuloy tuloy. =)

AVON BREAST CANCER CRUSADE

Let's WALK the TALK!

There is both a walk and run category. For the run, there's 5K and 10K, with registration fess of 500 and 650, respectively. For the walk, you just need to purchase the 2012 KGBC t-shirt.

Baka madapa ako or madulas.
