When is the best time to resign and why?

^ Baka na-confuse kita sa terminology, sis. I should have said "last pay" instead of "back pay".  This is the last salary withheld once your resignation is accepted. Btw, are you entitled to a separation pay even though you are voluntarily resigning? This is usually given if your employment is terminated.

^ The loan naman is through a bank or government institution, right? Your company just helped facilitate it?  Pag ganun, you just settle with whoever gave you the loan. In any case, it wouldn't be a reason to not accept your resignation.

Pag may nakita ka ng better company and sure na ang offer so di ka matatambay. Better in terms of career growth and salary, bonus if it's closer to home.

For me I resign kapag iniiyakan ko na yung pagpasok sa work st hinihila ko na lang yung sarili ko para pumasok.

Hanggang kelan ka maghihintay sa increase sis? ako kasi inabot na ng 1 1/2 years ang paghihintay ko sa promised increased, and hanggang ngayon wala pa rin. It's so unfair. Kaya nga naghahanap na rin ako ng ibang trabaho.

^ai nako sis. ewan nga ba. hindi pa din naibigay ngayong cut off yung increase. though prorated naman daw since april. kaso nakakadismaya na palakad nila dito sa office. balak ko lang maghintay hanggang christmas for the bonuses (HOPEFULLY) since mahirap na din kasi lumipat. sa ibang company mas hindi ako mabibigyan ng anything for christmas eh.

^ sis, ako din inabot na ng siyam siyam kakahintay. .  sabi ko last year, hanggang dec na lang din ako, kasi sayang nga naman baka biglang matuloy yung increase, kaso inabot na hanggang ngayong august wala pa rin..sana yung sayo wag naman abutin ng ganito katagal.. kasi nakakapagod din maghintay...

hi sis! now lang ako nakareply. bukas na DAW ibibigay increase namin. HAHAHA. mukhang totoo naman na ito this time. after this, courage nalang kailangan ko para magresign. waaa. naunahan pa ako ng senior ko sa pagreresign.

If wala ng growth or bagong work experience. Kumbaga diyan ka na lang.

Too much office politics na nakakasakit ng ulo. Sa culture din kasi ng company yan e. Believe it or not meron mga companies na minimal or negligible ang pulitika.

If gusto mo ng mataas na sweldo that you can only get from applying to other companies.

If the company gives a lot of promises na di naman natutupad.

UPDATE: i received my increase today. well, it's a decent one. but still, i am not happy. i talked to our HR about my status. and she hinted naman that i want to resign already. but she told me not to. i still have bonds pa daw from my previous study c/o the company. what to do now? 

Hi sis! Tagal din nating di nakpagupdate.. Well, kung gusto mo na talaga umalis, then you have to pay for the bond. Ako nakpagresign na sis. Di naman ganun kalaki yung inincrease ng salary ko but still, nasa stable company na ako.
