@Len0523: i don't even know kung less responsibility ba talaga because based from our discussion un reports na ginagawa ko currently, gagawin ko pa rin. and i believe ibibigay sakin un dating nun work nun promoted na TL.. actually, naiisip ko naman talaga yan na baka magsuffer family ko dahil sa pride ko. for 8 years now, laging sila lang iniisip ko sa lahat ng career decisions ko. i'm really confused.

@cruxito: actually, hindi naman 100% i have expected na mapopromote ako. frustrated ako sobra because if they are eyeing someone else to be the TL, sana hindi na lang sakin binigay un sangkatutak na trabaho. that's what i'm hoping - makahanap agad ng trabaho after ko magresign if ever na magfile na talaga ko. natatakot pa rin ako...

^yup hindi talaga naten alam magiging effect ng decision naten hanggang hindi pa nangyayari even if we have a clue.

law of attraction applies to believers.

this could not be the answer that everybody was expecting...but if you're sure na to resign...it's best to resign right after sweldo. hahaha.

if for example you're getting your salary every 15th and 30th...usually the 2nd payroll of the month notice is on-hold diba? para hindi mashadong mabigat sa finances...since alam naman nating pag nag-resign usually 1 month kang no pay, until you get your first payment from your new work. well..that's the usual. it varies naman. :)

@cruxito: swerte mo. pangarap lang yan idefinite leave samin. hehe. wala naman akong alam na pwede un ganun.. iniisip ko nga, pano kung natatakot ako... pero what if nasa labas pala ng company un better opportunities. daming considerations..

@merchee: sweldo nga namin april 10. iniisip kong magfile ng april 11. :D

di pa naman final decision ko. i just hope my sibs earn as much as i do para wala kong ganitong problema :(

The best time to resign is if you have a 6 month worthnof savings sa bamk para buffer lang and dapat as much as possible may nakapag job offer na sa ibang company before resigning

1. When I'm not happy with my work
2. No career growth

** Hi, sis! I really admire your guts & assertiveness to ask your boss about the situation. If he has his reasons of not choosing you then fine (you know the truth naman diba)... Just stay there (don''t mind about the issue -- go on with your work, as if walang nangyari--- be strong (don't get too emotional & personal to it sis  --) in the meantime & at the same time ACTIVELY find a better job opportunities.....

** Just think of it as blessing in disguise (na hindi ka na promote) --- one door closes but for sure another (better) door will open for you! P-U-S-H --- Pray Until Something Happens....  :)

thanks, @gracei_sg. wala din talaga sa personality un magiging matanong sa ganyan. kaya lang feel ko na etong time na to, kailangan ko magtanong. gusto ko rin kasi sabihin na sakin nun boss ko un mangyayari bago ko malaman from other people. at muka naman syang walang planong sabihin talaga.

gradually, narerealize ko na siguro nga... hindi binigay sakin un position kasi..mahirap talaga. ma-stress lang siguro ko lalo na lagi kong makakausap un manager ko kung naging team lead ako. sana lang makalipat na ko soon. thanks to all those who gave their encouraging words. nasasanay na din ako na may TL ako na mas bago sakin, at ako ang nagte-train. mahirap pero ganun talaga.

Best time to resign and why is...
if you got your bonus and salary ;) pero kung hindi mo na kaya then by all means resign but its best na may work ka na para hindi tumitigil ang pera mo and you can bargain more if you are currently employed :)

wala naman sa year sa company.

1. i think pag masyado negative yun mga kasama mo (chismis, siraan, sipsipan mga ganun). every day feeling stressed ka. walang respect sayo/sa inyo superior or boss mo. if you feel meron mga mas preferred but less worthy na mga employees. resign na agad yan. the earlier the better. culture na ng company yan, di yan magbabago.

2. if burnout na. gusto mo na ng bagong environment. nagiging monotonous na yun job mo. i'll think twice muna kase baka naman sa boredom lang umiiral. vacation lang katapat nyan.

3. sa growth kase, if you feel no growth na sayo, wala ka na matututunan pa sa current work mo. depende sa field if resign na or think twice. my thought kase on this is meron kase mga careers na nag-iba lang ng company pero yun mismo job/work same lang, yun mismong career pattern yun wala future, unless mag-iba ka ng field or magaral ka uli.

4. lastly, unless breadwinner ka and you're feeding/sending to school a number of people, last reason, for me, is money. kung may experience ka kase (and you're being valued by the company), i think ito yun pinakamadali makuha sa company.

for me, if maganda environment sa company yun feeling family kayo, may camaraderie, fair treatment ng boss/supervisor, magandang samahan sa company ok na. yun kase yun mahirap mahanap sa company nowadays. kaya if employed ako sa ganito company, kahit mediocre salary, ok lang.

but sadly, nasa #3 ako.

ako sis # 1 and i agree na even if mababa lang ang salary as long as the working environment is healthy, family, camaraderie and fair lang ang treatment ok na but if all of this is not there then mababa pa yung sweldo..it's time to wave the flag. I just did...finally! cannot take it anymore and topping it off the wife of my boss even question my dedication to the job eh halos iuwi ko na nga minsan ang work ko...iyun pa ang ibato sa akin! wow...that was so low!

Sobrang bagal...

Wala talagang growth unless magtake advantage ako at mag-aral dito sa UP.

Resign when you already have another job lined up or, at least, have 6 months' worth of salary saved.  ;)

...ako naman mapapagreresign din ako pag walang maiiwan to attend to my kid (or kids since im preggy w/ my second :) pero.. big deal pa rin ang #1 sakin kasi sa totoo lang, magagawan ko naman ng paraan yung reason na walang maiiwan to attend sa kids, yun nga lang, parang ayaw ko nalang mag effort na gumawa ng paraan pag not worth it naman yung work/job ko.

If you can afford to resign, go.  Based on my bro lang kasi, he resigns whenever he's not happy kahit wala naman syang savings or a new job.  Nangyayari tuloy, our parents have to give him money pa (he's already 26!).  So for me, do whatever makes you happy but be responsible and mature about it.

After all, for most pinoys, di tayo pinipilit mag move out at maging independent after graduating.  So may feeling of complacency na kahit unemployed and no source of income, may sasalo pa din na family member. Super tumatakbo talaga toh sa isip ko kasi i give money to my parents tapos they still support my brother.  Mabigat lang dalhin haha

^ Normally, they would just deduct it from your backpay. Don't worry, they can't legally stop your from leaving. Better talk to your finance department regarding the loan para clear.
