Van, 3oz for her weight is bitin na nga. my pedia estimates how much the baby should be getting per day based on weight eh, not based on age. pedia said if consistently, she gets hungry in less than 2 hours, it's time to increase by 1oz. eh si bianca good pa naman for 3-4 hours if formula.
what's your system ba for ebm? pumped yesterday to be fed today? kasi me, once naubos na breastmilk, don lang start formula. but yon nga kasi i don't naman get enough to last her a day. but when my husband was hospitalized last january, i would pump in the hospital and freeze the milk so paguwi ko, medyo nakaipon ako. ganon pa din, we gave the breastmilk the day after we got home. ubusin all the breastmilk muna then formula.
if you will be at work and your ebm is not enough for her feedings while you're away, maybe that's the time you give formula. sayang naman din kasi if you stop nursing her.
