 Kaya nga ako at husband ko, career din ang paghatid namin sa anak ko in the morning. Kasi naman kawawa naman if we will wake him up super early. Parang di pa nagsisimula ang klase, pagod na siya.

ang gawa namin, hatid in the morning. Pauwi, school bus na siya. At least yung pauwi ok lang kasi magpapahinga naman na siya pag-uwi sa house. Tsaka makulit na by afternoon, he actually enjoys playing with his busmates on the way home from school.

parang ok na ko dun sa nakausap kong service from school. mukang mabait naman kasi..pinuntahan pa ko sa house kanina at pinakita yung school bus nya. saka monthly naman daw ang payment niya. kaya lang from 1.2k eh mag increase daw siya pero di pa sure how much kasi pag uusapan pa daw. di ko lang alam kung sa school hihingin yung permission to increase..di ko na natanong. pero sana may iba pa ring choice para macompare ko

Hi!my son will study at elizabeth seton in bf resort and we're from pamplona laspinas siguro mga 20mins away from our house and they charge me 2k per month with aircon un school bus:)accredited sila sa school and they said na dapat prepared na son ko an hour before their time..waaa!!aga!!goodluck to us!!!!

My preschool son will ride the bus together with his yaya,  so i need to pay another 75% of the monthly fee (I'm trying to negotiate if they still can lower it)

They have a contract that I still need to see.

Hi sis, we live in Roxas District, Quezon City and my son goes to Ateneo. Mas makakatipid talaga if you go school bus roundtrip -- I pay 2700 for one way pero pag roundtrip i think they charge about 3K. so 300 lang natipid ko. Malakas sa gas ang sariling hatid -- pagod pa. Pero I would rather have that kesa makawawa ang anak ko di ba.

I don't know if I got a good deal but my daughter will be studying in St Scho Manila. We live about 10 minutes away. The quote ng school bus was 1900 a month pero both ways na. Is that a good rate na ba? It sounded like it so I took the offer. Hehe! Kesa mamomroblema pa ako maghatid sundo diba? Or magpark kung ihahatid siya sa school :p

Hello moms!

My daughter is 3 years old and will start pre-school this June. I currently don't have a yaya which is why I'm having a dilemma on how we can go about her school travel. Her schedule kase is mid-morning (11am-1:30pm) and we have no choice but to send her to school via school bus. To those who have kids the same age as mine, do you have your yayas go with your kids to school everyday?  Parang hinde ko kase kaya na at my daughter's young age, mag-isa lang mag-school bus. What do you think?

^ Ask the bus service if there is a bus mother.  Baka pwede mong ibilin ang daughter mo sa kanya.  Get to know her, the driver and the bus service proprietor.  How long will the trip be from your home to school (inclusive of sundo sa other passengers) and vice versa?  Who are the passengers?  If puro preschoolers naman, it should be all right.

When my kids were 3 and 4 years old, may yaya silang kasama sa school bus.  When they turned 5, nawalan sila ng yaya so we had no choice but to let them ride the bus yaya-less.  It turned out okay kasi 1) kilala ko na ang owner ng bus, the driver and bus mother, 2) they rode the bus only one way (from school to the house) and 3) it was a short trip and hindi full ang bus sa time slot nila kaya medyo natutukan sila ng bus mother.

Hirap talaga to let go of our young children.

^The school is around 10-15 minutes away from our house by car. Malapit lang naman but I haven't factored in the additional time it takes to pick other kids up. The school bus is exclusively for the preschool lang and I spoke with the bus operator naman, she said she and her sister accompany the daily travel.

You're right Marose, it's hard to let go. Siguro pa, another reason pa samin is because my husband and I never experienced taking the school bus. Hatid sundo talaga kame when we were studying kaya nakaka-guilty na hinde namin magawa for our daughter

Namamahalan lang ako sa school bus ah, 2800 kase ang quote saken with or without yaya. For that distance parang ang expensive masyado? Or dahil ba preschool kids to? I'm not sure lang.

^ Reasonable na iyan.  Mahal na talaga ang school bus.  That's why I decided to get a driver na lang kasi ang konti lang difference sa cost ng school bus both ways from school to our house vis-à-vis the cost of hiring a driver (P500-550/day).

You can get a driver but then again, for me lang, kung wala ka ring yaya, mas safe pa ata na mag-bus na lang si Z kesa solo siya with driver only.  Unless may maid ka na pwedeng samahan siya hatid sundo.

^Shux, that's the going rate na ba? I can't imagine how much the schoo bus is next year pag nilipat ko sya sa Assumption Antipolo.

I guess the next step for us muna is to get to know the bus mother. Mas mapapalagay nga loob ko pag mas nakilala ko sya. Thanks Marose

Same tayo Sis. Papasok narin yung son ko at the age of 3 this coming June 4. I got the school service directly from the school para mas safe. 1350 kasama na yung yaya. Around 10minutes lang yung layo ng school from our house so I guess pwede na rin yung price. Ang problem ko lang I have a 1 year old baby and sa ngayon isa pa lang yung yaya namin. so ang plano namin is sasamahan ni yaya yung son ko sa school and she'll bring along my youngest child. no choice din kasi hindi kami kampante na walang kasama sa school yung panganay. good thing naman kasi 2 hours lang yung class. so mabilis lang naman silang maghihintay.

Ours is 3500/month.. school is 30-45minutes away from our house.. it's provincial rate so i guess mura narin sya.. but still hindi biro talaga ang rates now adays!! and may 1mo. deposit and 1mo. advance pa yan.. ok narin kesa gigising pako everyday to send my daughter to school and fetch her in the afternoon.. mas mahal anmg diesel at tollfee pa and matraffic pa sa area na dadaanan eh ang school bus may sticker so pwede mag shortcut.
BTW- last school year our rate is 2500 pero colorum at jeep na walang ac pa yon huh. and my daughter's previous school was like 15-20mins away lang from our house!!! que aga ng sundo at super late pa ng hatid sa anak ko!!

thank god for school bus

yung daughter ko nagsimulang magschool bus nung kinder sya and yung accredited ng school ang kinuha ko na may route talaga bandang area namin to her school in new manila/cubao. starting rate from house to new manila/cubao is 1700 pa noon, mabait yung bus driver and conductor.

5th year na ni daughter sa same school n bus service, ngayon 2100 na rate nya and i can say she gained her independence mostly because nagservice sya, thank god d sya nabully or what in fact she has gained friends naman na bus mates and some are classmates nya din. ang maganda sa school bus nya d sila punong puno ang maraming bus kaya pag uwian per garde level uwian talaga unlike iba na hintayan pa yata ng oras hanggang mapuno ang bus/service.

ang payo ko lang sa mommies here kung ipagsschool bus nyo anak nyo

1. get the bus service accredited by the school ( trust me, for your kid's safety)
2. check the route to and from school also (get their driver&conductor's name and contact#)
3. try to bargain kung pwede sa oras ng hatid sa school (sa daughter ko kasi sya ang huli sa mga sinusundo so 6am huli sya sa lahat pero i think nagkataon kasi sya talaga huling daanan compared sa iba na malalayo talaga ang area)

this is my current problem. bukas na start ng classes ng son ko (claret), wala pa ako school service na nakukuha (hatid-sundo). we just live near claret (project 2-3 area). however since iam working and alanganin ang dismissal time nila, hindi ko na sya mahahatid at masusundo. last enrollment, i was looking for coordinators for the school service, kaya lang wala yung mga nag-aalok ng school bus service. haist! good luck naman this week. sana may mahanap na by next week.

it's good to know my accredited list of school bus service providers ang claret. i was able to contact one of them yesterday, and super dali kausap. hatid-sundo na son ko today. and since we're near the school, hindi sya ganun ka-aga sinusundo. reasonable na rin ang charge nila 2K two-way na. sana even in the future ok yung school service na nakuha ko.
