Birthday Party Themes

sis hunny my mom says kasi its too much!  but me and h2b agreed that there's no ceiling naman to a price as long as reasonable and happy si baby girl (and mommy! hahaha)  sa 120k naman, all in na yung kay Ralph.. i've seen his work and mukhang OC siya sa mga decors, which I like..

I just got home from meeting with Ralph Copiaco, so far convinced naman kame ni h2b na kaya niyang gawin yung iniimagine namin na set-up. Forte niya yung debut, so hopefully worth the price yung party ni baby love. I know may separate forum for the birthday budget pero briefly matanong ko kayo sissies if reasonable ang 120k for 1st birthday??

Is this for decors only? Medyo mahal na sya sa akin pag decors lang pag all in na, ok na sya sis sa 1st bday celeb. Tama si sis hunny_ally, ng iba mas mas malaki pa ang siste, wag sabihin sa parents at in laws or sa relatives magkano ang ginastos or gagastusin. Hahahaha

Wait the 120k all in including food, entertainment, decors, souvenirs? Ok na yan. But like sachism said, if decors only, that's expensive. Kahit only half/third of that amount, maganda na yan.

Sis sachism, hunny, sa 120k kasama na food, decor, face paint, host/entertainer, coordination, photo cov and album, and coordination.. Basically worry free na birthday ni baby and Mommy can concentrate on wedding plans! Hehe.

i have two options for my son's 1st birthday party. nautical theme kung makakakita ako ng magandang venue na may swimming pool. pag wala naman race car theme.

Re: 120k, pa-share sis if ok kalabasan ha kasi sa totoo lang mura na yan (depende pala ilan pax).


Rapunzel and cinderella theme na sa 6th bday ng anak ko sa june,  final na ayaw nya disney princess yun 2 lang raw.

sis stormy, my daughter was supposed to have a carnival themed party pero yung schoolmate niya in high school had the same theme nung nag-debut last november. since may mutual friends sila, ayaw daw niyang mag-mukhang copy cat.  i suggested yung "tangled" theme kasi so dainty and elegant pero pambata daw. pero while researching, i came upon this site. share ko lang baka makakuha ka ng inspiration sa party niyo.  http://modernweddingblog.com/2011/05/26/tangled-a-love-story/

natuwa ako doon sa white circular tent. ang gandang stage setup or pwedeng pang photoshoot. hindi pa yung usual na styro backdrop. yun nga lang ayaw ng daughter ko ng theme so nauwi kami sa las vegas party theme. 

and if you're getting maja din pala, we had our food tasting last friday. madami silang new menus ngayon. recommend ko yung baked salmon at ysabel's seafood linguine. super sarap and hindi nakakauamay. yung baked salmon, magandang substitute sa baked prawns thermidor in case na serve na yun sa ibang parties nyo like in our case.  pasensya na at na-excite ako sa theme ng baby mo kaya i just had to share yung link i saw.

reasonable yun sis..   huwag nalang sabihin sa in laws.. i know a lot of people who spend even half a million para lang sa birthdays ng mga anak nila.. basta kaya ng bulsa at hindi nasacrifice ang savings for baby's future, go lang!

Hi mga mommies! I like reading forums esp mag 1st bday na din baby girl ko her themed is either Sugar & Spice or Posh Tutu cupcakes. Baka meron kayong ideas ng mga design. Sa hostess  mostest ganda ng mga ideas hirap lang maghanap ng suppliers. Bka puro DiY na lang ako. ilabas ang creative side.

@bonina, thanks sis sa link we will have maja on sunday may kauntin salo-salo pero d pa ako sure sa bday ng anak ko dahil sa restaurant lang naiisip ko 6th bday lang kasi. Kaso pag nagko-compute ako, naiiba na naman mga plano kasi halos ganun din magagastos if caterer + venue. Ayaw ko lang talaga ng stress pag venue +caterer re: rsvp sa bisita at actual attendance (baka sobra dami pumunta kasi may bitbit or sobrang kaunti kasi magko-confirm tapos d darating). Hindi kagaya sa resto na kung sumobra e d mag-order

sis stormy, you're welcome!  tama ka, problema ang pag-rsvp, yung iba parang naiinis kasi minamadali sila mag-commit...yung iba naman nahihiya magsabi na di makakapunta. sa experience nga namin mas madaling kausap yung mga friends ng mga anak ko kaysa sa mga relatives eh. LOL
