So far, was able to book the following for my December 1, 2012 wedding:
Coordinator: Rita Neri (super love her. She replies ASAP- within 5-10 mins.)
Photographer: Pat Dy
Videographer: PHOEBEN Teocson (got a really good rate during the bridal fair at SMX)
Church: Santuario de San Antonio
Makeup: Albert K.
After party Dj: Martin Pulgar

Not yet booked but shortlisted:
Flowers: Robert Blancaflor, Tropical Blooms, Jo CLARAVALL, Moss Manila, or 7Lily
Reception: Makati Shangri-la
Bridal Gown: Francis Libiran, Amir Sali, Richie Ortega, or Inno Sotto
Entertainment: johnoy Danao or The Brass Munkeys

I even posted a thread entitles "Nice Restaurant for Reception".. and hindi ako makareply! ganun pala yun pag newbie/probatinary.. nahihiya tuloy ako sa mga nagreply dun, i cant post anything.. kaya im so happy na may nakapansin ng reply ko here haha! thanks!!! hope to be a dec 2012 bride pero we're still saving.. im wondering, may 2013 bride na kaya here? hehe.. thanks a heap!!!!

medyo nahiya naman ako sa status ng wedding preps namin. venue and caterer pa lang ang na-book namin. hihi!

hirap kasi lalo na pareho pa kami overseas

Same pa rin! Waiting sa start ng reservation sa paco church. ayoko kasi ireserve yun RMC ng di pa confirm yun church. Tutuhugin na namin yan ng reservation on April 26th... Can't wait!

hi sis, kami din iniisip ko yung uwi nya next contract nya. sabi ko by Oct dapat nandito na sya e. Wala pa kami na-book na supplier naghahanap pako, ayoko mag-splurge (kuripot..hehe!) sis, pano pala marriage license nyo? ikaw na lang ba maglalakad? para san ba yung 4 months na validity nun? $:-\$

^don't worry, kami rin kuripot.

with regards to marriage license (canonical interview, seminar, banns, etc) kami dalawa magaayos so dapat andito siya kahit 1.5 months before the wedding. yung validity ng marriage license means pagkarelease ng lisensya, dapat maikasal na sa Church (or civil) bago mag expire.

ako din, makikisali sa checklist for our dec 10, 2012 wedding:

venue: La Huerta Estate
photographer: Raymond Fortun
videographer: Lorenz Liwag (friend ni H2B kaya gave us a good price!)
rings: VGem - got them sa isang expo, 40% off the regular price!
attire: Ray Rana - whole entourage plus parents, all for 25k
officiant: bishop jonel milan - yung nagpray during the oath taking of pnoy
coordinator: my friend who does event coordination as a hobby, pro-bono

host: another friend of mine

next in line to book: caterer. we are considering either simply delicious or henry's

the rest, not naman na urgent so we will spread booking them throughout this year. kaya attend lang ng attend ng fairs and expos for good deals

happy preps sa ating lahat!

We're considering Patio de Tata Roque and Simply Delicious too. Pero may ita-try pa kaming 3 caterers this April. Hopefully may ma-book na kami by early May.

ah okay..hehe ndi ko kasi maintindihan sa mga nababasa ko e. kala ko pag na-submit mo na sa simbahan ok na..hehe so dapat pala bago umalis si h2b at least na-book na namin yung church, venue at reception tapos ako na bahala sa iba..hay...parang ang hirap noh? hehe pero okay lang masaya naman..
