Starbucks City Tumblers/Mugs

^If you're asking about the collectors' icons, Pampanga na ang considered closest to Subic, Zambales (which doesn't have it's own city mug/tumbler).

^oh i didn't know that there's a starbucks in pampanga already! but sad naman na they don't have the city tumbler.  Sis what i mean is there's already a starbucks inside Subic base.  though since its newly opened baka they don't have the city tumbler yet.

^What I mean is, even if they opened a branch there, it's not automatic that they'll have their own city tumblers. They'll usually carry the regular mugs and tumblers that can be found in any Starbucks branch all over the country. Or maybe the Philippines mugs. Neither subic nor Zambales are listed on official list of Starbucks city mugs/tumblers/global icons. To date, locally, this is only what's available: Bacolod, Baguio, Batangas, Boracay, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Manila, Naga, Pampanga, Philippines, and Tagaytay.

I haven't been back recently to Pampanga. I heard they're in SM or some other malls in Angeles. I'm a collector but I only get from the places I've been to. Less than a year pa lang since I started and I only have 30 pa lang. Taking my time because it can be a costly hobby, esp for the rare/hard to find ones. I still need Tokyo & Osaka but they're being sold for around Php12k! Yikes.

^oh ok..thanks for clarifying that out sis!! i thought its automatic that they'll have that kind of tumbler when they open a new branch in a new area.  the tokyo/osaka tumblers cost that much? WHY? they're even more expensive than those from europe! Anyway, i didn't know there's a starbucks in CDO already!! plus there's a batangas & pampanga na rin pala!

^They're considered "ghost mugs". Extremely rare and hard to find. A few pieces out Lang a few years ago. Japan has their own artsy line. A few days ago someone in our collectors' group released a photo of those two mugs selling at a naval base ONLY in Japan. So regular people can't enter. You can just imagine yung demand for them. Maraming European mugs na easy to acquire. Give or take a couple na medyo mahirap ma-source. Ang in demand aside from the Tokyo and Osaka icons are the Mexican mugs, too. I've visited Mexico before kaso Ciudsd Juarez has no icon mug. Only the collectors city mug.

Arriving this week: Boracay, Cebu, Florida, Canada, Korea, China, Waikiki, Hawaii, Seattle and Houston. On the 23rd, Indonesia. Yay! When it rains, it pours. Will check out the relief mugs in San Francisco in a couple of weeks. I heard they're more expensive than the icons.

^They're $9.95+taxes. Around $11....I got Batangas and Boracay today. I'm leaving for SFO this weekend so I'm getting the new relief mug as well.

My mom bought me Chicago tumbler. Most are available in the airport Lang. No Chicago tumbler in the city. Even in new jersey wala so probably sa Newark airport ako mkabili when I get there

^^I'm not a yet a member of any FB group on SBX mug collection.  I've just started collecting 2 or 3 years ago yata.  My collection is kinda diverse though (global icon, archi series which is kinda my fave, arsty/special or "commemorative" city  tumblers/mugs/demitasse) since mostly were given by friends and relatives and I don't have the heart naman to trade or sell them to concentrate on 1 design hehe.  Kaya ayun, naging parang family/friend joint effort na yung collection ko.  At the moment, I'm curious with the older designs hence, the "archi series phase". I'm also trying to research on the "history" of the designs.  Wala lang, to satisfy my curiousity I guess, and since my collection has been a constant conversation opener every time house guests see them

Hello! Im a newly Girltalk member pero matagal na kong nag bi visit sa site na to. Today I decided to join na. 

I like to share mine also about Starbucks collection. I started since 2006 pa and todate merun nakong 47 city and country tumbler then I already completed the 13 Philippines tumbler (Davao, Iloilo, Cebu, Boracay, Bacolod, CDO, Baguio, Tagaytay, Naga, Pampanga, Manila, Batangas and Philippines) 

Im having problem na san ko sya lalagay. Need ko na ng malaking cabinet.

^ Yes, yan ang challenge kun san ilalagay. Pag marami na akong starbucks mugs and tumblers, magpapagawa ako ng cabinet na glass yun door.

I have almost 100 icon mugs and for now, I keep them in under-the-bed cases till I have cabinets custome-made. We're building our house next year so isabay ko dun. Something that is glass-encased to prevent dust accumulation, lighted and earthquake-proof to some extent. Hehe.

I've 2 postal notices since Friday that I haven't attended to yet. I believe they're my (1st parcel from a trade in Korea): Phoenix and Taipei, and (2nd parcel from a trade in Russia) 4 Moscow mugs. I hope the postal customs officers will be in a great mood when I pick up my packages. Gulp!
