yung baby ko hindi ko pa napapa pierce. sabi kasi ng mga tita ko wag daw muna kasi hindi pa nya naibabangon yung ulo nya masyado kaya kapag nahigaan yung mahihirapan kasi baka mainfect daw yung side na nadadaganan.

Weeks back, nagka-sugat yung left ear ni Zoe so I removed the earring. Natuyo naman na yung wound kaso may parang matigas na something sa loob nung earhole mismo. I tried to put back the earring twice pero nagkakasugat ulit. Ano kaya yung parang matigas na yon sa loob?

I'm hesistant pa if I should have my daughter's ears pierced na. I'm allergic to sterling silver and non-gold earrings, even some gold earrings make my piercings hurt...as in they get watery and itchy. But I don't want to wait too long either.....

nung 3 months si baby, pedia nya nag suggest na ipa-pierce ko na earlobes nya and recommended another pedia to do it. pero nakalimutan ko yung name ng ni-refer nya kaya last weekend ko lang nagawa when 4mos na si baby.

normally the pedia would recommend it pag tapos na si baby sa 2nd set of vaccines nya.

Hinde eh, open pa sya. Tina-try namin lagyan palage para hinde mag-close pero yun nga, kelangan tanggalin agad kase bumabalik yung sugat. I think it's because of yung parang bump sa loob.

My daughter also had that hard part on her earlobe nung tinanggal ko yung earrings nya. Blackish yung hole tapos matigas nga. She didn't want it touched so ang ginawa ko nilalagyan ko lang regularly ng Human Nature baby oil na nakalagay sa cotton bud while she's sleeping. Weeks later natanggal yung black part. Naipong dumi sya. Ngayon soft na ulit yung earlobe ng anak ko.

First time mom here. My daughter is now 6 m/o and I'm not sure if I want To have her ear pierced na. Parang Ang liit pa Kasi ng earlobes niya and I saw our neighbors baby na 1 month younger kay D at masyado mataas yung holes! Perfectionist pa naman ako. Baka Mainis Lang ako pag pangit yung pagkaka pierce.
 Gusto Ko sana pag mga 4 y/o na siya Kasi I want her to remember how it felt and at the same time understand why she has to undergo that pain. Parang right of passage. Like an initiation. I think it will make her braver but I don't know if I can wait that long. You know naman pag Walang earrings Ang baby they assume its a boy. Eh Kalbo pa naman baby Ko Konti pa din hair niya.

^Mataas talaga ang piercing sa baby kasi as we age, sa dami ng earrings na naisuot at iba-ibang bigat pa, pwedeng 'mapunit' yung ear lobe kung mababa ang butas (observe how some older women have long slits na sa ears.)

^^I can relate. I still haven't pierced my daughter's ears at 5 months and ang main reason ko is -- what if hindi pantay. haha! kulang na lang markahan ko ng ballpen to make sure pantay pero syempre the doctors would know what they're doing and insulto yun. Pero siguro another reason is that mahina loob ko sa ganyan (until now mama ko yung humahawak when my baby gets her shots. I stand a few feet away kasi I have a fear of needles) Also, personally hindi kasi ako mahilig sa earrings so hindi ko masyado makita ang value. Siguro when she goes to school and lahat ng classmates nya meron and she decides that she wants one, papayag ako, pero she has to be responsible enough to take care of the wound (na hindi hilahin or kamutin) and the earrings (na hindi mawala).

Sa experience nyo ba eventually they'll want one talaga?

Sa daughter ko naman nagclose na talaga ang isang butas. 2 pairs ang winala nya (tig isa) so both pairs walang partner. D nako nakabili ng isa pa kasi nung i tries to put both (hindi magpartner) na natira, natanggal din nya ulit. Same ear lagi. Kaya naku dko na nilagyan. Ngayon nagclose na. So isa lang hikaw nya ngayon. Hehe.

hi sisses. nagppeel yung balat ng left ear ng baby ko. tapos nagsugat din. pero mukhang hindi naman bothered si baby kasi dedma lang siya. plan ko na ipaalis muna yung earrings for ilang days lang. ok lang kaya yun? hindi ba kaagad magsasara yung butas?

My daughter had her ears pierced at Claire's when she was 1yo. They used a piercing gun Tapos kasama na dun yung earrings. I'm glad we had it done there kasi they marked where to do the hole kaya centered sa ears, I've seen others kids' piercing na uneven. Meron instruction binigay how to care for it. I remember, nakasulat dun hindi Alisin yung earring until atleast 6 months yata para hindi magsara. After nun ok na daw na if hindi magsuot ng earring araw araw.
