Yung 2500 budget mo now, cake lang yun or with cuppies na? Thanks :)

I will go pa din to cpk on saturday but at this point, parang i'm leaning towards having the party sa. Lu house namin. Just have to check the capacity. Mukhang kasya naman 100 kasi 2 floors. Oldies na lang sa baba. 2500 lang ang rent whole day na and there's an airconditioned videoke room/lounge na 600 naman for 3 hours.

But i will not compromise food so scrap na ambers food. If PC is too expensive, will look for another caterer.

No more food carts but still with balloon decor and party host.

In the end naman i will decide how much i want to spend. Confused lang ako that's why i'm asking for opinions. Thanksgiving din naman ito for us pero siguro kasi havin a child has changed me in more ways that i thought.

Not because i have money to spend means i should spend it. Nasa umpisa pa lang ako sa journey ng parenthood so maybe i should really prioritize things and not spend more than what my budget is kahit kaya naman. Nagpapaka-practical lang naman ako.

If i go with the option to have it sa clubhouse namin, parang wala na akong problema. I know my relatives will come pa din naman. Friends - yan di ako sure but i'd like to hink puounta pa di. Sila kahit malayo.

Sabi naman ng cpk i can bring my own balloon decor and party host. Kaya lang i dont like their dessert selection so i will ask kung pwede iserve yung cupcakes.

Luz, i like the food at bubba gump but i've eaten there before while her was a party. Nasikipan ako sa place at parang di ko gusto na daanan yung party area to get to the outdoor area. :(

Lisa, you're right. I guess we're all smart naman to decide how much we can and should spend. Kung may mag-comment eh that's their problem na since hinde naman nila pera ang gagastusin diba. I guess that's why we're all sharing and asking questions here kase we want value for money, hinde yung basta masabe lang na mahal ang nakuhang ganto, ganyan.

Regarding Bubba Gump, na-consider ko din yan kaso I was concerned of the space as well.

Hi mommies! Pa-join. :) Ang saya magbasa ng thread about party planning. My son is turning 1 on August 3! We're planning to have a Jollibee party. Yun lang pasok sa budget eh, hehe. Kung ako lang masusunod at may budget, I'd go for the big party! Venue, catering service, food carts and all. Hehe. Oh well, a Jollibee party would be enough na. Andun na lahat, food, program, games, lootbags, and venue. Based sa initial draft ng guest list, 45-50 adults and 15-20 kids. Hindi pa nga sure na makakapunta lahat yan kasi most of them are officemates. August 3rd is a Wednesday, kaya malamang konti lang talaga makapunta.

I want it to start at 5pm pero I'll put 4:30pm on the invitation, alam nyo na, Filipino time. Hehe. Gusto ko kasi 6:23PM pa sya kakantahan ng happy birthday kasi yun ang time of birth nya.

Excited nako!!!!!! It will serve narin as souvenirs diba? :)

How soon do you think should I make reservations at Jollibee? And saang Jollibee kaya? Global City or Market! Market!? I think BGC nalang para mas konti tao. Hehe.

Take care mommies! :)

Thanks, sis! You can call me Justine.

Try ko nalang magpunta one of these days sa Jollibee BGC para magpa-quote, konti lang guests ko so sana kasya sila dun. Hehe.

Ako nung binyag ni Y, I spent 40K for 80 pax (500/head), Lunch buffet na yun. Kung wala kang foodcarts and photobooth, I think pasok pa din your 80K  ;)

Pia - kaya pala silent ka lately. Naku for sure, your hubby will be very happy sa preparation na ginagawa mo. I love surprises too! Like for birthdays or anniversaries, since I give him allowance (as in allowance lang..LOL), he can give me gifts na di galing sa pera namin. That's how madiskarte he is  :) Di din galing sa swipe card that is ha. It's a long story how he does it, pero bilib ako.

Swt_fem - Oh, ganda naman your plan na 6:23PM sis! how nice and unique! I remembered my daughter, pinanganak ko naman siya 7:10 PM.

Welcome Justine!

Van, what is your budget and what are your requirements?  Meron kasing balloon suppliers that supply depending on the number of pieces and type of balloon arrangement.  For example, the simplest to execute are balloonderitas or floating balloons.   An option will be balloon drops, which look more festive and mas marami if properly executed. If you will get balloon pillars for the entrance, nice din, but since makikita lang naman siya upon entry to the party place, parang hindi siya sulit for me.  Better to get balloons na mas makikita ng guests, which, ideally, sa loob ng party place nakalagay.

At the risk of sounding like an advertisement, I think Apple of Yanple can provide floating balloons for your party.  I do not know lang her minimum rate.   If you check her site, she has decorated Shakey's and other fast food venues.  Others I frequently read about are TGIS Parties, Mr. Balloonatix, Party Boosters, Polkadots.

Pia, good luck sa surprise party.   Type ko rin gawin for hubby although next year pa ang kanyang 40th. ;)

Ang sarap mag-plan ng party na sky's the limit but really, only a few could afford such parties naman.  Basta prioritize and enjoy the party planning process because it could be really fulfilling. :)

Thank you po! Sana nga maiexecute ng maayos. Vegas 70's ang theme kasi 1971.  Hehe. Sana mag reply din suppliers ko. I sent an email Kay Thor, Ces, and Kathleen. I hope they're free pa kasi short notice.

Sino nga ulit ang taga Bulacan? Share ko Lang sana na ang Cabanas is 13,200 plus 1.5k/hr ang a/c. Plus sound system and chairs kaya 34,200 din magagastos. Since namamahalan ako, Baka alam nyo ang Kulinarya Sa Cabanas din. 8k lang daw. Unsure if kasya ang 120pax. We need a stage for the band.

Weng, truelala! Mahal dito spa, manicure, etc magpaganda. As in! Package package uso.

Justine, I like your idea ng birth time!

Van, will try din cre8Tiveminds. Have you tried their video services? I asked nadine for a quote na din. Magkano kaya delivery niya to pque? I asked her for ideas din para sa candyland theme.

For balloon decors, maybe you can inquire din kay apple. Her floating balloons is 2k for 100pcs. But that's her current rate, price increase daw siya in april.

Or baka ako na sumagot ng cake and photog. Weee! I'm so happy na kahit lang sa cake at photog okay na. Sana din magkaron dessert station!

Mommies, my former midwife-yaya texted me this afternoon and asked me if I know of anyone who is looking for a yaya.  This midwife-yaya is an expert on newborns and babies.  She took care of my twins for 1 1/2 years.  Mapagkakatiwalaan sa bahay, marunong mag-cook ng baby food (even adult food), malinis sa katawan at very hygienic sa gamit ng mga bata, marunong mag-take ng temp, mag-first aid, mag-thaw ng breastmilk properly, mag-nebulize, mag-sterilize properly, magpaligo, etc.  Pinapa-log ko pa sa kanya dati ang daily activities ng mga anak ko (feeding time, how many oz. of milk ang ininom, no. of times nag-poop, nap time, play time, etc.). Downside lang is her asking salary - 8k and she has to go home to her children every other weekend.  PM me if you are interested.

May alam ba kayo how to order sa Elar’s & if they do delivery kaya along Daang Hari, Alabang? I’ve browsed their website, pero no details about delivery, etc.

So far, eto pa lang accomplishment ko on my party preps for my son’s double celebration (Christening of my second son & 4th Birthday of my first son):

Caterer: Verleo (booked & DP paid)
Photo/Video: John Aguas (reserved the date & paid him DP)
Cake: Project Happiness Party Package C + add ons
Host with Sound System: wala pa (I’m trying to book Alex thru Apple pero she quoted me 20K which I find too pricey). Still thinking sino pa kaya pwede, any suggestion? Jen Belen quoted me 13K, pero I’ve read some feedback re her super straight English so baka hindi sha maintindihan ng ibang guests namin.
Invitation & thank you tag: c/o me
Tarpaulin – My suking graphic designer
Personalized Candles for the binyag, Guest Book, Signature Book – choosing between Business Shoppe or Creative Minds
Game Prizes, Party Hats, Souvenir – c/o Divisoria

BTW, the venue will be in our home kaya good luck to us. So it’s not just double but a triple celebration. This is really what we wanted – to purchase our very own house & lot.
