Tin, for the cake sa first birthday ni AJ, sa goldilocks ako nagpagawa, kasi yung yung malapit sa amin sa Bulacan (alam mo naman, dun namin nacelebrate ang bday nya because sa request ng lola  ;D). btw, ok naman, happy naman ako sa itsura, pero yung taste, as usual so-so  ;D
for the cuppies, it was made by my officemate, no frosting, pero patok naman sa mga kids, yummy kasi. re: the pastry chef, dami ko good reviews na nabasa tungkol sa kanya, and as of now, baka sa kanya ako kumuha for AJ's 2nd bday (lapit na!).inquire ka sis, lapit na bday ni K! :)

^ it's not a big party naman sis. House lang. Hindi namin inavail yung kiddie party package kasi madaming nega. Tsk tsk. So wala na ko say, wala ako work eh. Huhu. Sa cake/cuppies palang ako. I'll ask hubby pa if okay sakanya kumuha ng dessert station. Photog meron na, a friend of a friend :) give aways, eto iniisip ko pa kung ano. Host, sila hubby na bahala dun. Haha.

Van, may nakuha ka na bang photog? How much? Unlimited shots with soft copy lang? Thanks :)

Lisa, sige I'll let you know pag nag-visit kame ng Shakey's El Pueblo. Yun talaga kase yung preferred branch ko since middle ground for everyone. Pahaba yung function room nila, nag-party dun yung niece ng husband ko last year but I didnt get to go kase nasa States ako non. I'll update you din kung which outside suppliers sila open.

Tin, I'm getting Cre8tive Minds for photo coverage. I'm getting their Premium kiddie party package for 5500, good for 3 hours coverage tapos eto yung included:
- 1 Professional Photographer
- 1 DVD Unlimited (Hi-Resolution/Ready to Print) pictures in JPG format with Photo SlideShow
- 1 Photo Album 10 pages 8x8 inches (Hardbound Photobook) - upgradeable
- 1 8R Blow Up Poster Layout
- 10 4R Prints
I'll just upgrade the photobook. This is their website if you wanna check them out: http://www.cre8tivemindsphotography.com/package.php?name=package

It doesnt matter naman how big or small the party is basta mag-enjoy ang baby natin diba :)

Tin ulit, I texted you this morning regarding Nadine. Borlogs na kase ko kagabe when you texted.

Regarding lootbags pala, I was thinking na since Flowers and Butterflies ang theme for Zoe's party, ano ba ok na contents ng lootbags? Kase syempre may boys na attendees din. What do you think?

sis Van, you can add some personalized flowers & butterflies cookies, pencil, bubbles, jellybeans with nice packaging, just add some touch of flowers and butterflies. meron ding mga nabibili na mga paper clips, hair bows,  notepads na may flowers/butterfly design na. mahirap lang for the boys.  ;D

Lols.

Van, got your text na! Yummy talaga si cuppies? Affordable pa! Ganda ng package na kinuha mo sis. Yan na yung cheapest nila? Parang ang ganda ng album :)

Jen, puwedeng 1-2k ang budget for the prizes if you are getting them from Divi. ;)  Usually, may major and minor prizes ako.  In the past, we gave out the following prizes: soccer balls, Play-doh sets (yung dough lang mismo), Joytoy puzzles and coin banks, crayons, coloring books, pencils, stickers, soft balls for the babies (similar to stress balls), yung parang spring na toy na puwede mong hilain, FIFA soccer figures (so happy with these, got them for a bargain price of P10 each at the toy store), note pads, pencils, small cutesy stuff you can get at Divi, etc.

If you are tamad to go to Divi, I suggest you check out the sale items at Toys R Us in Greenbelt 5, Landmark toy section and National Bookstore.  Maraming finds diyan. :)

Food na lang ilagay mo like crackers and biscuits.  Huwag lang candies or junk food because some parents may not like it.

My original budget was 80k stretched na. Kaya lang based on what i have so far, abot na ng 100k wala pang gice aways, loot bags.

Cpk is my alternate option - no more rental fee kasi plus i will probably do away with the food carts and dessert/candy station. Malaki chance na sa ganito ako babagsak.

I inquired na din with personalized pciks pero ang tinanong ko yung collapsible storage box kasi yon iniisip kong give away. Eh ang mahal pala. So titingin ako ng iba.

Will go to cpk on saturday and hopefully, yung custom menu ko hindi lalampas ng 500/head.

Nadadali ako sa anik-anik eh.

If we opt naman to have it here sa clubhouse namin, limited space tapos 2 floors pa so hindi ko alam paano mangyayari. What do you think of thisoption?

Kaya nga now i'm rethinking everything. Eh i have to deposit downpayment na today for appple and alex.

If cpk naman ako pwede pa din ako mag alex diba? So i-go ko na din si alex pa din?

Hay...

Jen, for loot bags and goodies inside, may stall sa market market na parang divi. May store din sila sa divi pero saves you the trip fro  going kasi mas accessible market market. You may want to check that out din. Dito ko balak mamili ng prizes eh.

lisa, depende siguro kung sino guests mo... if they won't mind the food are merienda type like ambers lang, then go ahead sa clubhouse.

otherwise, okay din naman yung alternate mo na cpk and just get alex l. para lively pa din yung party and mag-enjoy ang kids. i'm sure his magic tricks and balloon twisting would catch their attention plus games pa.

ako nga din, para tipid, i'm thinking na sa house lang eh para no need to pay for venue rental. but i'd just make sure na i get a good host na magdadala ng party..

So far so good naman list ko, I'm sticking with 100K budget for Y's 1st birthday (pwede sobra konti pero not too much).

Eto meron na ako as of now:

Venue: Santuario De San Antonio (bay 1) - 6000 (8000 security deposit; refundable)
Caterer: Verleo - 30000 (70 adults and 30 kids);
Dessert Station: MyChocolate Heaven - 5000 (assorted na)
Lechon: Elar's  - 6000 (30 kilos ata ito)
Host: Alex L - 11000
Videographer: Zoombox Productions - 6500 (Package A)
Venue Dress Up - YanPle - 15000 (with styro backdrop; balloons etc etc; 3D centerpiece; entrance decor; pinata)
Lootbags - Personalized Picks - 3000 (wala pa ako design basta max 100/ pc)
Prizes and Giveaways - Divilandia, ToysRUs, ToyKingdom- 3000
Invitations - DIY - siguro 500
Face Painting/Glitter Tattoo - c/o Yanple - 3000
Food Carts - c/o Yanple - 6400 ( 3 kinds unbranded)

TOTAL: 103600 (sobra ng 3.6K pero okay na yan. Wag lang additional 10K)  ;D

Kaya ako may additional dessert station and Elar's kase I did not avail of desserts kay Verleo and any Pork dish ata. So kaya may Dessert Station from Mychocolate heaven and Elar's. Pero kung PC yan, di na ako kukuha ng separate dessert station and lechon  ;D The menu na nalista ko sa PC is good enough  ;)

Plain kain lang with no other extras. Kaya good deal na ito for me, buti nasiksik ko na sa 100K. Kumbaga, good job na ako dito. Pero kelangan magtrabaho ng mabuti. LOL! ;D

Oppsss, complicated pregnancy ako ha. Thanksgiving na din ito for good health and everything na! Atska baka di na ako magka-anak ulit kaya at least naranasan ko itong planning etc and throwing parties  ;D

Lisa, I think papasok sa budget mo ang CPK.   ;)  Kapag CPK ka, you can do away with the balloon decor.  But, check with CPK if you can bring a magician.  Most restaurants do not allow magicians kasi may "fire" act.  Si Alex, may "fire" act.  You can ask Alex not to do the "fire" act.  Okay pa rin ang show niya kahit wala yun.

You can still opt for a clubhouse venue with Passion cooks as caterer but to stick to your budget, you have to eliminate the food carts and get cakes from a baker who has lower prices.

Re lootbags/giveaways, you do not need to spend a lot on this.  Based on my observation, basta may bitbit ang kids, masaya sila! :)

Siguro, i-rethink mo muna kung ano ang non-negotiables mo and then, compromise by minimizing cost or doing away with the negotiables.

Jen, I think okay ang budget mo para sa gusto mong kind of party.   :)  Galing ng budget mo for decor with the inclusions, reasonable iyan for me. :)

Naiintindihan kita.  Ganyan din ang justification ko for planning the first birthday party of M & M. ;)

Mommies, to give you an example lang naman, ganito ang order of priorities ko when planning a party:

1.  Food
2.  Photo/video
3.  Host
4.  Decor
5.  Venue
6.  Giveaways/ lootbags/prizes
7.  Cake
8.  Invites

Hay, nakaka-addict pumunta doon, especially with the new extension of 168 mall haha.
