Good morning ladies!  Medyo hindi ako nakapag-blowdry today dahil wala kaming kuryente sa house since yesterday afternoon.  Nasira ang circuit breaker!  Kawawa ang kids kasi from 3-7 pm, yaya lang and helper ng neighbor ang kasama nila since my mom went out yesterday.  Nang dumating kami ni hubby, madilim sa bahay pero nakakain na ang kids - LPG kasi ang stove namin - at nagpatulong kami sa gardener we outsource kung may kilala siyang electrician.  Pumunta naman sila kaso kapag naka-switch ang kuryente, may sparks sa circuit breaker.  Scary!  So, natulog kaming walang a/c nor electric fan.  Ayos lang!  Nakabukas ang windows at mahangin naman.  Salamat at maraming trees sa paligid namin.   Itatali ko na lang hair ko later kapag fully dry na kasi hindi talaga ako sanay ng hindi naka-blowdry.     Naiwan si hubs sa house to fix the situation. 

Tin, walang ibang branch ang Shoppersville.     Hindi rin sila nagde-deliver, puro by pick-up lang.  Sa may Katipunan area lang sila puwedeng mag-deliver pero ako lang nakakaalam niyan haha.  Hindi kasi talaga nila ginagawa yun as a rule, napakiusapan ko lang si kuya baker 2 years ago na i-deliver ang cake sa bahay namin.

Kung gusto mo talaga mag-order ng cake, puwede ko pick-up ang cake since araw-araw akong dumadaan doon at magkita tayo somewhere in Makati.  Favorite ko ang chocolate cake with yema filling at yung butter cake.  Yung chocolate cupcakes nila, sarap din and mura pa, parang 15 or 20 per piece lang yata.

Lisa, hindi ka pa sinasagot ni Apple?   Sa yanplepartyshop@yahoo.com ka ba nag-send?  Kasi, I sent her a short email yesterday and she replied naman a few hours later.  Oh well, I already mentioned to her that my friends Lisa and Jen, nag-inquire sa kanya.

Yung 12k is photo/video na.  For video only, last year, 8,500k.  If you want mas mura na video na good quality, John Aguas at 6k.  Madaling kausap si John.   Lawyer din siya turned photographer.

Grayce, meron akong menu ng PC kaso last year pa.  Buti na lang hindi nagustuhan ni hubby ang prawn thermidore, har har, kaya hindi ko kinuha.  Hay naku, I am still dreaming of the eggless quiche of PC.  Ang sarap talaga!

Jen, mukhang malaki ang na-discount natin kay Maja.

Actually, madali naman talaga kausap si Maja.  Ang tyle ko sa kanya, sinabi ko agad kung hanggang saan lang aabutin ang budget.  Binigyan niya ko ng menu, pinalitan ko 1-2 dishes, then binigyan niya ko ng free dessert.  Dapat kasi, lazy cake lang pero binigay niya sa akin for free ang panna cotta na sobrang gusto ko.  Naka-3 servings yata ako ng panna cotta sa party ng kids ko.

Re decors pala, ako naman secret fan ng Kidstar Kastles.  Gusto ko kasi ang sobrang daming balloons!  Pero parang mas bagay sa little girls ang maraming arte-arte sa decors than sa little boys. 

Secret wish kong mag-KK party din for my kids' 7th birthday na malayo pa naman.  Pero kasi, nahihiya naman akong mag-switch ng PP.  Basta, gusto ko talaga sa 7th birthday ng kids, balloons galore.

Was going over passion cook's menu kast night. Was contemplating na if i should include the eggless quiche. Now i think i will.

Chose between panna cota and the crepe station. The former sana but topped with caramel or strawberry syrup eh. Sana mangoes. My chef-cousin makes the best panna cota i've ever tried (also the best crepe samurai a la intercon's and the best pavlova) so i decided against passion cooks' kasi baka ma-compare lang.

Will think about photo/video again. John aguas is phot only o video yung 6k?

Gustomko din madaming ballonns para festive. Madami akong tanong kay apple about balloons.

I was thinking. Pwede kaya instead of getting food carts na cotton candy and candy corner, tanggalin ko na to and just have a candy bar from sugar n spice. Ok lang kaya yon? Or maglagay din ako ng food cart na hindi matatamis like pizza or hotdogs?

I am availing yung Package A na worth 6500.00 (dati day 5000 lang yan pero now 6500 na). Bale, 2 events lang sila per month and talagang sa videos lang ang forte nila.

Bilib talaga ako sa party planning mo sis Marose, sobrang alam mo priorities. Like yung food, di pinapabayaan!  Atsaka yearly celeb ng twins, you know what you want. Agree ako diyan sa more balloons on your twins 7th birthday party (as this is not your priority naman before di ba?).

Lisa - di ka magsisisi sa Panna Cotta ni Ms Maja (super ganda feedback ng guests ko dito). Anyway, you can have naman food tasting eh, so request mo na lang. Yun lang gusto ko sa desserts niya!

Okay na din yung setup ng Sugar n' Spice, wag na food carts sis since sarap naman daw menu ng for kids if PC caterer mo. Check mo site ng Zoombox sis, okay sila.

Lisa, 6k is for video only.  I have no idea how much yung photo ni John, though photographer talaga siya.  Yung videographer kasi tauhan niya ang nagpupunta sa party pero si John yata ang nag-e-edit.   Happy naman ako sa first and second birthday videos.  Last year ko lang na-try si Thor para maiba naman.

Naku, get the quiche - I got two kinds:  ham and cheese and bacon and egg, masarap pareho!  Tapos, noong nagpakain ako dito sa office last October for my birthday, nag-order ulit ako ng quiche.  Walang natira.

Huwag na nga mag-panna cotta if your chef-cousin makes the best one, hehe.  Ibang dessert na lang.   Ang pretty din mag-ayos ng dessert spread, kahit 2 kinds lang sa amin, ng PC.

 Sa PC pala, you can have the option to have the kiddie meal plated.  I think mas mura yung plated kiddie meal than the buffet.  Ang cute ng kiddie plates nila, I swear.  Pero, kapag plated ang kiddie meal, ang yayas sa adult buffet kumuha.  May server talagang nakatoka just for the kids.  Isa pang reason why gusto ko ng separate na kiddie meal.

Jen, true na true na masarap ang kiddie meal.  Tinikman ko ang baked macaroni, masarap!  Hindi ketchup lang ang sauce.  Yung pork bbq, malambot at maliit lang ang sticks, kaya ubusin ng bata.  At blunt na ang dulo.  Cheese sticks, okay din.  Yung marble slice, okay din.  In short, kahit kiddie meal, pasado sa panlasa ng adults.  And take note, hindi nagse-serve si Maja ng iced tea or soda sa kids.  Fruit juice lang, which is mas gusto ko.

Alam mo naman kung gaano hirap ng pregnancy ng APAS patient, not to mention may GDM pa pala ako and myoma, plus premature pa ang babies.  Tapos, nagka-miscarriage pa ako sa first baby namin.     So I really want to celebrate the gift of life.  Hindi naman bongga ang parties taon-taon.  Kagaya this year, sobrang simple lang talaga at hindi na ko mag-aarte-arte promise.  Saka, kasi, by June, naipambayad na sa tuition fee ang midyear bonus namin ni hubby hehe.  Kaya hindi na talaga dapat mag-arte arte ako.

Tin, may design ba ang cake?  If may design ang cake, puwede mag-order a week before the pick-up date.  If you want lang cake just to taste, lagi naman may available sila na choco cake (may 4 in., 6 in., 8 in.) and cupcakes.  Mas okay to go sa umaga kasi minsan nauubos pagdating sa hapon.  Gusto ko rin ang choco, mocha and banana muffins nila.

Yung 12 in. rectangular choco cake na may design that I got for the kids' 2nd birthday, parang nasa P1,200 lang.  May yema filling na yun at marshmallow icing.  Last year, yung 8 in. na round butter cake with soccer ball design, parang P950 yata.  Or baka mas mahal doon ng konti kasi alam ko mas mahal ang butter cake.  Sarap ng butter cake, bagay sa coffee!

PM mo ko sa FB or here kung kelan mo gusto mag-order.  Dadaan ako this weekend to check their prices ulit at hahanapin ko ang telephone number nila, hindi ko pala na-save sa phone ko.

Pati din YanPle, may price increase na daw by April! Actually most suppliers ata, price increase! LOL Gusto ko din nga si Potato Corner kaso di ko alam if papasok pa sa budget ko ang branded food carts! We'll see! 

Tin - you can mix and match naman sa Dessert Station, pwede yun. Kaso di ko alam minimum amount for Dessert Station nila. Kaka-send ko lang email asking if meron nga, will share once I have the info.

Wow, full party planning mode tayo!

I decided to get Cre8tive Minds' photo coverage for Zoe's party. Yung video, I'm not sure if I'll be getting pa.

Marose, na-remember ko na naman yung Shoppersville. I love their breads, na-addict ako sa cheese bread nila before.

Tin, may frosting na white marshmallow icing ang cuppies nila na available always sa bakeshop.  Puwede rin lagyan ng cookie topping na customized gaya ng pinagawa ko dati.  May cookie jungle animals na topper ang cuppies.

Yung cake ng twins noong second birthday, jungle safari ang design - 2 cakes pala yun.  Isang round cake for the day of their birthday at isang rectangular cake for the day of the party na may malaking giraffe - styro lang si giraffe pero cute na rin for the presyo.

Noong 3rd birthday sa school, round cake na soccer ball ang design.  Kay Yumi Castrillo pala yung cake nila sa party.

Kayang-kaya nila ang Mickey, sa tingin ko. 

Marshmallow/royal icing lang pala sila, sis ha.  Wala silang fondant.  Mas mahal kasi ang fondant icing though it transports well and weather-resistant.  Mabilis matunaw ang royal icing.

Kim, potato corner mahal. Sa price list ni party boosters ba yon, parang mas mahal siya kesa kay NYFD. If i remember correctly. Gusto ko nga din sana pero on my shortlist now is NYFD na lang. Dippin dots ok din sana pero 10k!

Marose and jen, natry nyo na ba crepes ni PC? Di ba ok? What other desserts can you recommend aside from the panna cota?

Tin, cake ba ito for k's 1st birthday? Ayaw mo ms polly's? Mas malapit kasi sa shell magallanes lang. You can buy yung ready-made don, standard size na 9x9 but if you want a bigger cake, order ka sa kanya ng rectangular pero for pick-up sa merville.

Tapos since dessert din sya, hindi kaya tunaw na sya by the time na kakainin sya? Mura pa naman tapos mukhang yummy talaga. If ever kukuha ako sakanila, first time ko makakatikim ng ibang cake. Lisa - wala pa ako na-try na crepe nila. Ham and Cheese Crepe? If yun, masarap siya. Yun ba yun?! Sorry di ko alam, si sis marose may alam niyan. Panna Cotta lang gusto ko sis, ayaw ko Apple Crumble and Choco Lazy (di ako fan ng choco choco eh) which I tried nung food tasting. Yup sis, price increase na daw si Yanple ng April. Pero okay lang, deposit lang daw 3K and locked na for 2010 prices. I will deposit na nga =)

Tin - iba yung chocolate fountain na package sis, I believe yun ang tinignan mo. Ako, nag mix and match...I'll get mostly Parfait (mga nasa shot glasses) and tarts plus brownies and some cupcakes. I'm checking pa how much minimum so I know. Papantayan ko kase ang siste ng PC sa desserts na 2 desserts per person para di bitin 

Also, Re decors...pwede din daw gusto ko na 3D table centerpieces. Yun pala tawag dun! Hehe! Kaya ayusin ko muna menu from Verleo so I know how many tables sa venue then lilista na din ako need ko from Yanple.
