Van, for me ha, hindi sulit if you get a separate host because two hours lang usually ang party sa Shakey's, inclusive of the kainan.  Sayang ang TF.  Better mag-face painting or glitter tattoo na lang on the side.

Wala namang clowns sa Shakey's parties na napuntahan ko dati.  Ayoko rin ng clowns.

Between hubby and I, I can say that I am more into football than him.  Ako nga ang addict na gumigising ng 4 am just to watch important games live.  I will call Ateneo Football Center ulit and ask if puwedeng mag-trial class muna ang kids ko sa Saturday.

Kim, may games na si Alex.  You just have to prepare prizes.  Ang rule of thumb ko is 3 prizes at the very least for each kid.  P1,000 lang naman ang booking fee ni Alex, if I remember correctly.  You can pay it through his bank account then just text him and keep the deposit slip.

Wahh, lalo tuloy akong na-excite na makuha si Alex L. for my daughter's bday... sabi kasi ni Jacque, i-confirm pa daw ni alex yung prior booking nya-- sana cancelled yun <ako na ang masama! hehe>

For me, it is never too early LOL.  Actually, isa pang advantage in booking early is you get locked in the old rate.  In case he increases his TF by January 2012, naka-lock in ka na sa 2011 rate because you booked him in 2011.

You can text him to inquire if he is available then ask him when is the best time to book him. 

Maui, when is your party?  Gustong-gusto ng kids ko si Tito Alex kahit napanood lang nila is their birthday video.  Kasi, too young pa sila to pay attention during their first birthday.

Kim - I book lang nitong buwan na to ata, although na-pencil book na siya na Ms. Apple. I paid 5K for the downpayment eh. Rate is 11K. Kay Ms Apple ako sis eh, di ko alam contact number ni Alex mismo.

Marose - I'll check nga, sayang din 1.5K ha. Lalo na if Verleo ako, parang type ko kumuha Dessert Station na affordable and a Kiddie Salon na. Ay naku, sabing wag na bisita sa Kid's Parties thread eh  Nakita ko yung dessert station ni sis gie, mychocolate heaven, any of you who tried na?

kim, kami we got an addiitonal print sa photo shoot last saturday. you can buy additional prints naman 900+ ang isang 8x10, mahal no? kahit hindi member. ang diff lang if you're a member is you have the option to buy the e-copy of the photo for 60. sabi ng siser ko gagawin na lang daw niya akong sub-member.

Re Alex - naku sis, yan din ang iniisip ko dati kase binibilang ko kids talaga, mukhang kulang ako sa numbers pero sabe nga nila okay si Alex sa lahat ng ages, so I guess tamang timpla lang.

good monday morning mga mommies! haba na naman ng backread ko pero nakakatuwa kase ang dami kong natutunan lalo about insurance and investing.

marose and lisa, from SGV din ako batch 1998-2001, kay VTO ako sa Bus process outsourcing.  Naalala ko na nung 2nd day ko after orientation sa office, dinala ako sa field (Ericsson 1st client ko) and iniwan na kasama ng isang baguhan din.  Susmiyo, scared to death ako kase di ko alam ang gagawin.  Buti bank recon lang ang pinagawa tapos reliever sa payroll nung nanganak na accountant nila. My SGV days were one of the best times in my life   dun ko natutunan lahat like 1st gimik (yes, late bloomer ako), 1st time ma-experience mag smoke and alcohol.  Mga BI kase kasama ko hahahaha.  And dun ko din pala na-meet si husband.  Yun nga lang, naging kami na nung umalis kami pareho ng SGV   di kami pwede ikasal at magpamilya sa ganung klaseng sweldo.  Kulang pa pang gimik yung sweldo dun.

About books, kumpleto naman ako nung kay Sidney Sheldon, Bo Sanchez and yung kay Francis Kong.  Ngayon, wala na kong time magbasa, puro magazines about parenting na lang.

Im planning to go back sa gym, kaso naisip ko sayang yung oras na imbes kay Yuel ko spend, mababawasan pa.  Mas malapit na kase sya sa tita at yaya nya ngayon kakalungkot lang kase pagdating ko sa gabi madalas tulog na sya tapos sa umaga 1 hr na lang bonding time namin.  Pero need to get back in shape na talaga.

kim, better to book early kase madbilis ma-book sila Alex, even Flooch.  Ako si PP na ang gumawa nun for me, and less 500.

tin, Mmukhang okay naman sa Create kaso di ko type yung facilities.  Masyadong maliit yung classroom and parang kulang talaga ng space para makapag enjoy yung mga chikitings.  Di din ganun kalinis.

marose, ikaw, would you know how to contact alex? i don't want to go through a party planner na coz i have my own who would do the catering, too. i just don't think they are in touch with alex l.

Luz, nag-abot pala tayong 3!  For sure, may parties tayong inattend-an sa SGV na sabay-sabay.   Hindi talaga competitive ang suweldo sa Audit, [textspeak!] at ibang divisions ng SGV pero sa Tax, competitive naman sa law firms.

Nag-gym ako from August to December sa Fitness First RCBC Plaza.  I hired a personal trainer pa.  Kaso nga, naging busy ako sa work.  Most nights hindi ako nakaka-gym.  Nanghihinayang ako sa bayad!  Pero gusto ko ulit bumalik.  Nag-lose din ako ng 8 pounds through the PT sessions.

Question mommies -

If in case may Kiddie Salon/Face Painting/Glitter Tattoo - paano na ang games ng host if busy ang kids na nagpapaayos? My original time kase for party is 11AM - 2PM; eh mukhang di nating maiiwasan ang late comers di ba? so I plan to make it 12-3PM na lang, pero I'll put in the invite na 11AM pa din ang party. Any ideas po?

Jen, usually naman during the waiting time pinipilahan ang side entertainment.  Tapos, during the program itself, ang host na ang didiskarte para pumunta ang kids sa harapan para mapanood nila ang show.  Tapos, resume ulit ang side entertainment after or during the kainan. 

If you want na masulit ang host pati na ang side entertainment, huwag masyadong marami ang side entertainment.  For 30-40 kids, tama na ang 2 booth.  Nanghihinayang kasi ako kung hindi masusulit ang booths, tapos kung masyadong marami naman, baka sayang naman TF ng host.

^ oh ganun pala yun sis marose! di pa ako naka-attend ng party dito sa Manila (may invites dati pero I refused to go kase nga baka mainggit lang ako sa mga may babies na), pero if may mag-invite ngayon, now that I have Yesha na, I'll go  Kaya mga sis na magpapa-party, invite niyo ako!  Nanawagan eh! 

Ano ba usually ang siste pag party na? as in bahala na ba ang host? basta dating na lang sa venue? Sorry ha, no idea talaga.

Kapag si Alex ang host mo, siya na ang bahala.  Basta give him the go-signal lang kung start na ang party.  Dati, 3 pm ang party namin pero 2:30 nakasulat sa invite.  3:30 nagpa-start na ako kasi marami ng guests.  Games muna siya.

Ang highlight naman ng show niya, yung magic show, after the kainan na when everybody is there na.

Naku, dati pa mahilig na ko mag-attend ng kiddie parties pero mas naging observant ako sa mga details noong nagpa-plan na ko ng parties for my own kids.  Kaya nga pinapansin ko palagi ang host.

Thanks for your feedback marose. I'll get na lang the in-house host of Shakey's to facilitate the games. I actually included the face painting din sa party requirements ko, mura lang naman din mga rates na nakita ko.
