newbie ako sa wordpress. i tried editing the code, nag-error then hindi na ako makalogin. kailangan pa idelete yung theme sa cpanel ko.

how do you guys edit the code in wordpress na kahit magerror ay hindi na malaki hassle na pupunta pa sa cpanel, delete pa ng theme and start from scratch pa.

tatanggalin ko dapat sis yung "posted by admin"

sa appearance->editor lang ako nag-eedit ng code. if di ka na makalogin, siguro may na-edit ka na kaylangan ng theme to function properly.

yung "posted by admin" pati yung date and timestamp, i usually remove them from the single.php, page.php and index.php. pero depende yan sa theme. other themes do it differently kasi.

kapag ba may error sa pagdelete ng code, automatic na hindi makakapasok sa wp? twenty ten kasi yung gamit ko na template.

^hindi naman sis... yun lang "global" codes na kapag nadelete, may nawawalang function din sa dashboard mo kaya hindi mo mapasok. pero kapag simple function code lang like sa sidebar, makikita mo lang ang error dun sa sidebar. or if simple function code of the whole theme, wala kang makikita sa website mo except sa error na yun pero napapasok parin ang dashboard...

XML sitemap (important kasi sa site na may sitemap, mas mabilis siyang ma-index ng search engines)
Google Analytics (if you have analytics account, para if magpalit ka ng theme, you won't have to insert the code again)

also, i was blogging via my iphone and i can't upload a video. lumalabas yung videopress. when i gave a quick scan, parang need pa yata akong magbayad ng $59/per year?! tama ba pagkaintindi ko? naguguluhan ako.

baka it's a plugin o kaya an iphone app na ka-tie up ng wordpress. meron naman mga plugins talaga na may bayad. baka meron free version

walang free version sis eh.  i check--paulit ulit na yun ang lumalabas.

^it's a plugin nga sis. originally, it was for wordpress.com. pero pwede na din sa self-hosted wordpress blogs. but you still need to have a wordpress.com account and pay for the videopress upgrade.

i'm not sure why it's tied up to your iPhone though. di ba pwedeng i-bypass? at gumamit ng ibang video plugin? wala kasi akong iPhone eh, hehe.
