^Travel Expo every Feb is PTAA, mixed ng international and domestic, but i would say mostly international ang interesting deals pag Feb.

the different expos are held "generally" in the same month every year. so PTAA every Feb, Travel Madness Expo every July (sometimes June), Philippine Travel Mart every Sept.

^I presume you're asking about domestic kasi domestic lang meron sa Phil. Travel Mart? of the two, I would say better ang Phil. Travel Mart (PTM) kasi talagang focused sa "Wow Philippines" vibe and napansin ko nitong nakaraang Travel Madness Expo (TME), medyo onti ang participants and hindi masyado interesting.

what I did notice is the travel date - TME held every July is mostly until March of the following year ang covered, while PTM held every Sept sometimes covers until May (so covered niya ang summer, hehe).

tsaka I remember yung PTM last year, since "Wow Philippines" vibe, merong mga features on domestic destinations that are not the "usual" tourist hotspots, which is good for those off-the-beaten-track travelers.

masaya ang Philippine Travel Mart talaga! mas lively kaysa dun sa expo last July. kasi may mga mascots and naka-costume and everything, ang daming nagpapapicture here and there. ang saya lang ng atmosphere.

in terms of deals, ok na ok rin kasi until summer next year ang sakop na travel dates ng PAL! and maraming mga showcase na "not-your-usual" tourist destinations. para sa akin, definitely much better than the July expo (for domestic deals).

tapos adik lang ako, natuwa ako dun sa Travelife magazines kasi P50 lang ang back issue! pinakyaw ko yung anim na back issues! and it's not very outdated ha, meron nga June-July 2014 lang na issue. adik lang ako sa travel mags, hehe. tapos bumili ako sa Aquamundo nung "engineered for water" bags nila na bagay sa island-hopping.

yung sa airfare, hindi ako nakapagbook kasi meron na kong specific date and time (so specific flight number) na kailangan eh naubos na yung promo for that specific date and time. pero para sa inyo na mas flexible, i'm pretty sure you'll get to bag some kasi actually yung sa date ko may available na promo kaso ibang time kaya di ko kinuha.

^true dami hotel deals. Sayang sana inantay ko travel expo para nakamura kami sa boracay trip namin this month, ok offer ng sol marina boracay 3888/night. Naghanap ako for next year tour namin sa Batanes pero wala masyado offer at halos lahat ng deals valid til this year.

korek. mas nagandahan pa ako sa deals this year kesa last year kasi last year naghahanap ako ng good hotel deals for bohol pero for 2014 lang ang offer nila eh pang nov 2013 kasi ang hinahanap ko. eh ngayon kahit for this year meron silang mga promo.

thanks sisses! was able to drop by earlier with my niece and daughter and super nag-enjoy sila. dami daw pwedeng photo ops. hehe.. sad lang since i was not able to find a deal for our cebu trip next year. halos lahat kasi till end of this year lang yung availability. gusto ko na sana yung sa crimson na 10k for 3d/2n but till december lang daw. hopefully, may good deals before our trip next year.

Anyone here who scored a good deal for business class seats during travel sales/expos?

I've never tried flying in business class kasi pang-maharlika ang price tag. But I am considering flying business for super long-haul trips. Can business get as low as $1,500 RT for say, South America or Africa?

^Once you've tried flying business you wouldn't want to fly on coach anymore! You'll be spoiled for life! Lol!

I fly business on long haul flights mostly on CX. The cheapest so far that I've paid was 2.8K on their buy 1 get 50% on the 2nd and 3rd pax. I was traveling with my parents so timing 3 kami, good deal na. Pag kaming dalawa ni hubby nasa 3.1K pumapatak (multi-stop/open jaw routing). But so far the cheapest promo on business class I've seen is on KLM at 2.1K (round trip only no multi or open jaw routing) travel during low season.

I don't think you'll find any business class seats for 1.5K on long haul flights though.

I guess business class seats really don't come cheap. I want to try to splurge on a business class especially if super long-haul naman yung flight. I got an open jaw ticket for $1.5K before. $2.1K isn't that expensive, but not cheap as well.
