Puerto Galera (Thread 5)

kakagaling lang namin ng puerto galera nung  april 20-22. Fist time namin pumunta dito at nagstay kame sa la solana suites through agoda.com kasi sa mismong hotel wala na daw sila avail kaya dun kame nagbooked sakanila. We paid 5.2k (3d/2n) for standard room w/ breakfast. pero nung dumating kame naupgrade yung room namin sa premium room which has 2beds at mas maluwag kesa sa standard. Tama nga na mababait ang staff nila at lagi nakasmile. Nagaantay agad si kuya herson pagdating namin sa white beach. Mga 100meters away yung solana or 5mins walk rin papuntang beach. They provide shuttle rin naman pero hanggang 10pm lang at kung sa ibang beach kayo papasundo may extra charge na sila (papasundo sana kame sa may lucas may bayad na raw na 300php). Yung breakfast nila tama lang di ko masabi na super sarap (tapsilog/tocilog). Yung wifi  nila sa may restaurant lang pwede maaccess. pero irerecommend ko rin itong hotel na to sa mga gusto magstay sa white beach na gusto ng tahimik at relax na lugar. they have good service.

Minolo shipping lines ang kinuha namin for the roundtrip  500php +80php na environmental and terminal fee. Super tagal ng byahe papunta sa whitebeach 2hour ride rin kasi dumaan pa sa muelle. hay sobra ang init at super kulob ng bangka pero nung pabalik na mga 1hr and 10mins nalang. Sa mga bumili ng roundtrip pagdating ng white beach punta na agad kayo sa booth ng shipping lines niyo para magpasked ng return ticket niyo. kasi pag sa same day na nagpasked pwede kayo maubusan ng slot at makuha niyo pa yung oras na ayaw niyo. Buti may natira pa samin for 10:30am kasi balak namin 1pm talaga. kung hinde namin nakuha yun 5pm na yung next.

Wala naman kame masyado activities na nagawa halos puro foodtrip lang at laro lang ng frisbee. haha! Halos lahat ng nirecommend niyo dito na restaurant tinry namin.  nagbeach hopping rin kame nilakad namin from white beach to talipanan. buti lowtide kasi pag hinde mukhang lalangoy ka talaga ng mga 10meters para makatawid ito yung sa may bandang talipanan na ata yun sa mga malaking bato. Masarap nga yung pizza sa lucas yung 16inches nila 400php lang. sulit na sulit. nilakad uli namin pabalik pero nung nasa tamarraw beach resort na kame nag tricycle nalang kame kasi madilim na, minimum fare ng mga tricycle dun ay 100php. (grabe mahal kahit malapit lang)

mejo bitin ang trip pero ayos lang. siguro kung babalik man kame sa PG sa may aninuan or talipanan beach kame. malayo sa ingay at dami ng tao.

excited to visit PG this coming saturday. we're staying sa sea jewel, 2nd time na namin. we liked it there kasi sila na nag asikaso ng ferry details when we got to batangas pier. sana same pa din rates for island hopping and snorkeling. anyone in PG right now who can confirm the rates for the beach activities? TIA!

Hi sis sorry for the late reply...just got out from the hospital sis sa talipanan kasi luca lang talaga masarap meron dun kainan ng masarap na halo halo sa ibang part hehe...if you really want to relax sa talipanan nalang hindi magulo...

from batangas pier nag Galerian lines kami then binaba kami sa white beach then may shuttle kame dinala kami mismo sa talipanan..[textspeak!] pabalik we asked ms anable of luca to book na pabalik batangas...

kamusta kaya Tamaraw beach this late? hindi pa din crowded?

^sis  nung nagpunta kame nung april 20-22 , di naman siya crowded sa tamarraw beach. kahit kasi sa solana kame nagcheck-in sa may tamarraw kame tumambay kasi yung friend ko dun nakacheck in tsaka mas gusto ko nga dun kasi nga di crowded nakapaglaro pa kame frisbee dun sa white beach super sa dami ng tao.

What is the nicest accommodation in PG? Let's say not on the budget na accommodation. Location, beach wise etc maganda talaga... Thanks.

Ano kaya weather sa Puerto Galera tom? Pupunta kasi kami pero yung weather report, rainy weekend daw.

been to coco beach resort 3years ago for our anniversary.
the place was nice and relaxing. most of the guests were foreigners. i think it's one of the cruise's stopovers in the philippines.

^^^^ thanks ha! I'll try to visit Tamaraw even if we'll be staying on a diff resort. Sayang yun opportunity coz we'll be visiting on a weekday. Malamang parang secluded island

weather in Mindoro was no different from Manila when I went there last weekend. Except for occasional, isolated downpour that lasts no more than an hour, rest assured it won't spoil the beach bumming experience. Even at night, mainit as there was no wind at all. Summer na summer talaga. A mentionable concern I heard is that electricity gets cut off from time to time in some parts of Calapan and allegedly, even in Puerto Galera.

^ill never go to Puerto Galera bcoz of that.. last ko na talaga tong summer na pagpunta ko with my family.. Pang-5th ko na that time.. sawang-sawa na ko then may ganyan pa.. eeew!!! But it will be the most memorable place for me and my fiance, diyan kasi kaminna-engaged and nawala din ring ko sa beach then nahanap din naman niya,.. <THANK GOD, ANG ALON KAYA> We usually stay sa Tropicana Castle sa SABANG..Ang laki ng bed ang ganda ng pool and super lalim pa hehe.. 6'4 ang fiance ko pero lagpas pa sa kanya yung pinakamalalim na part ng pool. beautiful resort! but yung huling punta ko with my family sa white beach kami..

^ hi sis, may I know the rate for Tropicana Castle? Is it the kind that would best require booking or to do a walk-in is fine?

^hmm twice na kami dun nag-check in ng fiance ko..walk-in lang, pero that time low season.. nung May dapat jan kami ng family ko kaso fully booked na sila. i love their bed! SO SO BIG! laki din ng CR w/ bathtub pa.. ganda pa ng pool and constant warm yung tubig. yun lang yung tv malii=) we usually booked SUPERIOR room ata 2500 with breakfast na..then dun sa 3rd floor room namin, kaloka lang sa pag-akya't baba..kapagod hehe pero for me sulit ang view..

me and my officemates including my boss will be in puerto galera sa june 1-2, 2d1n lang kame...2nd time ko na mag puerto galera pero sila lahat first time...nung una ko sa vm kami pero now kasi medyo mataas na rate nila...sa rems kami nagpabook now thru sir raymart ng vip virtual tours...mas nakamura pa kami nung sa travel agency kami kesa sa direct e, kasi 3k un family room kapag direct ka sa rems pero kay sir raymart 2500 lang, same inclusions : aircon, wifi, tv, 6pax capacity and free bfast din. 

kapag success to ipromote ko lalo si sir raymart sa inyo at kunin namin siya sa next tour namin.

Hi Sis kami rin PG sa June 1-3 pero sa Tamaraw beach resort kami nakabook via clever travel promo.  Sana  okay ang weather para enjoy.  Galing din ba kau Manila?

wow may mga makakasabay pala kami sa PG...sana naman mameet ko kau...super active ako dito sa GT pero kahit isang taga GT wala pa ako namemeet, hehe..

nwei ano ba mgandang gawin sa PG, un budget tour din...10am ng june 1 kami dating e pero kinabukasan din alis namin around 3pm..plan sana namin mag half day tour lang...ano kaya ok gawin?
