I'm from San Pedro, Laguna. Eto yung mga alam kong venues na ok for reception:

Villa Leonila - San Vicente, inside St Joseph Village
Cipriano's Garden - inside United San Pedro Subd.
Paseo  de Royale - inside United San Pedro Subd (if I'm not mistaken, eto yung Almoro ancestral house)
Stonecrest Clubhouse - inside Stonecrest Subd / Villa Olympia
Las Villas de Manila Clubhouse - eto yung kita sa may Southwoods exit

For those considering Manila Hotel for your reception, make sure that you really nail down the quality of linens and cutlery with your AE. I attended a wedding here recently and to our horror, the utensils were peeling! One of our friends was pregnant pa naman so she complained about this to the waiters.

I'm currently looking for a reception venue/restaurant for my wedding on October 2016. Super intimate lang wedding namin, max of 50 guests tapos puro family members pa. Tapos lunch reception din kami so I'm looking for affordable yet magandang restaurants/venue para sa reception namin. We're thinking of Max na lang, pero we're looking at other options na rin.

Hope this helps. Ok naman yung Max's madami din naman silang freebies. Kami kasi sa Tropicana Garden City Club House beside Bluewave Mall good 120pax. Mga sis any suggestion re reception venue around Marikina? Pinakamalapit kasi sa OLA yung Kapitan Moy which is just across kaso good for 100pax sila.

We are looking at "The Buffet" kasi may free use ng venue with the catering package. But we are still scouting for other alternatives.

^^ thanks sis! Actually pinagiisipan rin namin if kaya ba na 100 guests tapos traditional na wedding reception na lang, kaso gusto kasi ni bf na may banda eh mukhang mapapamahal kami ng todo pag ganun. Kaya ayun, hiwalay na reception na lang yun hehe

Hi sis..dito kami kinasal nung 2013. Madami pwede reception area nearby (or within UP din)
1. Sulo Hotel
2. Pwede ka rin rent ng hall/reception area then hire separate caterer (Bahay ng Alumni, Balay Kalinaw)
