just want to say good luck or those with upcoming interviews and wishing those about to immigrate a good journey. We went through the K1 visa stuff too and pasensya talaga and trust ang kailangan.

Yup. Been here for more than a month now. Yung passport with visa baka makuha mo in a week or two.

my status is issued since yesterday, hopefully i can have it tomorrow or on monday, will leave november 2nd week pa coz i have a lot of things to do coz i just resigned from work.


^i think sis bring all documents from school and stuff, diploma and if you're a professional here your board certificate, license and all that. certificate of employment of all jobs you had here and bring a couple of nso burth certificates. hope this helps, bigyan mo din ako ng tips at reminder baka may nakalimutan pa ako, mauuna ka saking umalis eh. ^_^

I brought 5 original copies of my birth certificate. Although di ko nadala, ipappadala ng mom ko authenticated diploma and TOR. Everything else na need mo, makukuha mo na sa US like yung SSN and yung employment authorization.

^thanks sis, saglit nalang yan, 2 months and 2 weeks lang na approve na kami, mas mabilis pa ngaun.

sis!!!! we're approved!! nung Oct. 29 pa lol kanina ko lang nakita 

Mygas tulala kami ni bf, akala namin mga next year pa. Nakapag booked pa kami ng ticket kasi pupunta sya dito ng Dec 8. Ok na din yun para pang proof na din for interview.

^ Based kasi sa October approvals sa visajourney members, they got their interview scheduled around January, 2014. Plus, I need to serve my notice na din dito sa work ko so latest by March next year siguro ako makakaalis,

Question lang mga sis, importante ba na may engagement ring na maipakita? Wala pa kasi kaming engagement ring and start na kami mag ayos ng mga papers. Dapat pupunta siya dito sa Christmas, eh ang sabi ko pumunta na lang siya dito pag okay na lahat at paalis na kami. Parang susunduin niya ako dito. Takot kasi akong magtravel mag-isa.

Pumunta na siya before dito last Feb at yun yung first time namin magkasama as couple.

Sana meron din makapagshare ng experiences dito sa Same Sex fiance visa especially sa US.

Yes it is now legal in the US. pero problem namin hindi legal ang same sex marriage sa state niya so we're not sure kung ano chances ng application pag ganun.

may kakilala ako wala din silang engagement ring nakapunta naman dito sa US, try mo sumali sa mga k1 groups sa facebook and visajourney to get tips on the whole process. di na kami nag hire ng lawyer and we did it ourselves, less than 5 months lang nakapunta na ko dito sa US

Anyway, ask ko lang sa case naman ng friend ko, if may nakakaalam dito ng sagot or pwedeng gawin. Na petition na sya ng parents nya before pa, 2009. Pero above 21 yrs old na sya. Tapos, may foreigner boyfriend siya and gusto siyang pakasalan. Pwede kaya nyang i-petition maski meron ng ongoing petition from the parents nung girl?

Naghahanap kami ng sagot sa visajourney, wala kaming makita.

^sis we were in the same situation as your friend, sa amin naman we're petitioned by my grandma and lahat kami nakapetition, the thing is when i watched the visa hour they said there that you can have multiple visa applications but whichever comes first yun yung susundin like in my case nauna fianće kaya di na valid yung isang petition namin kahit pa overaged na ko for that and nandito na ko sa US. hooe this helps, madami kang mababasa online kaya madali lang yan. habang nag aantay ka ng papers sali sa sa mga forums para alam mo mga trend at kung anong gagawin mo.

Anyway, nagpass na boyfriend ko last Dec 30 nung I29, documents, etc. express mail, Dec 31 nareceived na sa Texas. Until now, January 13, wala pa rin kaming narereceive na letter from them (NOA, RFE etc.) bakit kaya ang tagal? Taga New York boyfriend ko. Nababasa ko sa online parang 3 days lang ata nareceived na nila yung NOA nila.
