My route was K1 and it was fast bec 5 months lang nandito na ako sa US. But since may binago din sila sa process nila ngayon either of the two via spousal or fiancee visa eh pareho lang yung timeline. The question is just how fast are you both to gathered everything to present. Ngayon kayo na ang magsche-schedule sa interview date nyo thru online. So pag may approval na kayo pwede na kayong domiretso sa St Lukes for Medical and schedule your interview online. Or you can also call.

hay sobrang nakaka depress. my fiance filed last march 17, 2011 then na receive ng uscis yung package mga march 21, 2011. malapit na mag 2 months and wala pa din ang NOA2. samantalang yung friend ko last june 2010 lang nag file yung boyfriend niya then after a month may letter na siya kaagad then within the span of 5 months nakarating kaagad siya US.

mukhang strict na siguro sila ngayon, or baka kulang evidence namen? wala kasi kami sinama na post paid telephone bills kasi thru skype lang naman at prepaid cards ang communication namen. kaya mga pictures, birthday and christmas cards, letters, receipts of financial support every month lang yung napadala ng fiance ko.

sobrang nakakalungkot kasi 5 years na kami long distance(mag 9 years na relationship namen since june 2002) and parang ang hirap na maghintay. pag hindi pa ito na approve, di ko na ata kakayanin maghintay ng 6 years above.  minsan naiisip ko baka hindi talaga kami meant to be kaya ayaw mapabilis. kasi yung friend namen hindi naman sila matagal na magkakilala or magkarelasyon nung fiance niya pero na approve kaagad. samantalang kami since year 2002 boyfriend ko na siya. ang hirap talaga ng buhay.

^^does it mean na mas matagal na fiance visa ngayon unlike before kasi same na sila ng spousal? diba hindi padin kasama sa VB yung fiance visa? ask ko lang if need ko ba print chat logs namin, kasi some of it was deleted na. like feb pa but then march 1 nalang nakita kong oldest. nakakalungkot naman kung mas strict sila, we've been practicing for the interview na nga eh,, while preparing the documents needed. my guy wants to have everything settled before siya umuwi eh, i know he's cooking something when that time comes, di lang kasi pasaring ginagawa ngayon eh, plano na. i still would want to be surprised and he knows that kaya may mystery yung mga nangyayari samin ngayon.

^Nope, it doesn't mean matagal ang fiance. It just mean na magkapareho lang yung processing nila ngayon. Pag may delay naman mga month or two lang kasi it depends on the applicant na kasi on how fast they can gathered all impertinent docs to submit.

Yes, you can add your chat logs sa documents nyo. Kahit hindi magkasunod ang days basta 6 months copies like 3 copies for the month of June, 3 copies for the month of July and so on and so forth.

^thanks sis, kasi di ko lam san mag uumpisa, he wanted me to print all the chat logs, it will be needed soon daw, i know din why kasi we need hard copy of everything bago mapatungan ng bagong logs, pero di ko lam san mag uumpisa, ang daming chat logs, we used ym as parang text lang kasi kaya yun. thanks sis siguro hindi literal na lahat ng chat logs, basta it says the date like march 1 so on, thanks again sis.

^thank you sis, we're not yet engaged but my guy has plans for us, and we wanted our application to go smooth, kaya as early as now gather ng documents needed, bonding nadin namin sumagot ng mga fiance visa questions. sabi nga practice makes perfect. hope everything goes well.

I'm currently going through this process & our petition was approved yesterday!  My fiancee received an SMS & email notification, kasi once you file, you can sign up to get updates on your case.

We filed 1st week of Feb this year & medyo fast ang process than expected (average is 5mos). The real work begins pag bayaran na ng visa, medical exam, scheduling the interview & of course the interview.

There's a lot of helpful info sa visajourney. Dun ko lang din sinundan mga steps in filing.

i'll check on visajourney as well, were keeping ym voice call logs now, before we just use prepaid cards kasi and we can't track our voice calls, so by using ym may logs na na gegenerate. and when he comes for vacation we need to have at least 100 pictures together, i realized just now how important being a cam whore here, well at least in our situation it'll for sure help a lot.

From what I remember, less than 100, actually less than 30 pics lang sinubmit namin. Siguro piliin mo na lang yung meron inidication sa background kung nasan kayo, iba iba suot nyo, or iba iba kasama nyo together etc.

Wala nga kami pics with my family eh, just with my cousin & sister pero ok pa rin.

@sis helluva: may sinubmit ba kayo na postpaid landline bills na proof na nagtatawagan kayo? or chat logs and skype lang sinubmit niyo? thanks in advance

itsmekmia: We didn't submit any phone bills since Skype lang naman kasi usap. I'll submit/bring the phone bill along pag interview ko na kasi kelangan evidence of relationship uli. Aside from the requirements, he also submitted the following as evidence of relationship:

-copies of his boarding pass & passport stamps(when he came over to visit me)
-screenshots of Skype call logs na covering around 5 mos or so
-screenshots ng inbox ng Gmail where we emailed
-screenshot of a 1 chat session we had in Gmail (we tried to look for conversations that we chatted in English)
-screenshot of an email conversation
-copy of his credit card statement (showing the usage of his card in Manila)
-copy of Seair's emailed iterinary for our trip from Cebu & Boracay (iterinary included our full names together)
-around 30 photos with descriptions person/s, dates, places

^thanks, actually joke ko lang yun sa kanya, na 100+ pero pwede din para maraming mapag pipilian. thanks for the inputs on this thread, di namin lam kung san mag uumpisa, basta once in awhile we try to answer fiance visa questions, then yung chat logs and voice/video call logs ayun din. hopefully it will all work out when he goes here for vacation. ask ko lang pala dapat english lang ba yung sa chats, kasi he doesn't speak tagalog and i'm actually teaching him some so dapat ba pure english lang? tia.

wow, thank you so much sis for the infos! sobrang na enlighten ako. ang galing naman nung sayo sis, so parang 3 months lang may NOA2 ka na and aproved na din? 
nag file din yung fiance ko last march 21. sana naman din after 3-4 months may NOA2 na.(keeping my fingers crossed) it's been 2 months and wala pa din silang sagot, initial review pa din.

last question sis, vermont ba yung center mo or california?

ask ko lang pala dapat english lang ba yung sa chats, kasi he doesn't speak tagalog and i'm actually teaching him some so dapat ba pure english lang? tia.

Hindi naman, yung submit namin medyo taglish. Kasi nabasa namin na anything na hindi English should be translated. Kasi ina-assume din namin, kung sino man magrereview ng case, mas ok na English. Baka kasi ma-RFE pa hehe, sigurista ako.

Glad to help. It only took 99 days from NOA1 to NOA2 for us. Yung waiting talaga ang pinaka-dragging process. Feeling mo tuloy lalong bumabagal oras kakahintay ng update. Style ko nga is nagcount down ako sa calendar para everyday, crossout ako hehe. Saka nakaka-tempt talaga magcheck sa USCIS site everyday LOL.

Initially Texas tapos since taga CA sya, transferred to California service center.

Mabilis lang oras, kayang-kaya mo yan sis!

he was here last march, he proposed to me officially with a ring na namana pa nya from his lola. and the best thing was i got pregnant sana dumating na noa2. california center din kami ng file. ngpadala na rin ako ng supporting docs (med cert, ultrasound, etc) para uscis is aware of my pregnancy. sana talaga dumating na noa2. if im not pregnant, i dont mind waiting. please pray for my noa2 sis
