Hi! Anyone know or who can recommend a good OB from Healthway Shangri-La and reasonable ang PF? We've been TTC for more than a year now, this time we want to consult a professional / specialist na. Kinda nervous lang din on how to go about it, like how to even start pag dating dun. Like what do we say or what kind of check-up we're getting. Help.

went to visit Dr Carmela Madrigal-Dy for pre conception check up hubby and I we're both ok sa kanya.   will see sa mga susunod pang check up.   mabait naman sya ang magaling din mag explain and looks very caring din like a mom   may naka try na po ba sa kanya before?  please share your experiences ..

Natry na ng cousin ko sa kanya sabi niya parang late daw lage dumating eh wala naman siya kasabay na patient... Baka naman pag manganganak kana... Wala pa din siya... Hindi kaya?

^hi sis, thanks sa feedback.  dun sa 3 check up ko sa kanya, hindi naman ako naka experience na late sya.  may queueing system dun sa clinic kung saan ko sya mini-meet.  though hindi ako masyadong happy sa last check up ko kasi I found out na pcos ako then sabi lang nya mag diet ako tas wala na syang sinabe and wala ding nirecommend na vitamins etc.  uhmm.. parang ang dating balik ka nalang ulet sa akin kapag nabuntis ka na...  waaahhh e nahihirapan nga ako mabuntis kaya ako nagpa check up sayo... though I read some where na pro natural sya and hindi talaga nagbibigay agad ng gamot.

^sis ok na rin na pinagdiet ka muna, baka kasi magreact naman katawan mo sa diet at exercise e. mas mahirap pag pinagmetformin ka nya agad.

sis gogreengorgeous  actually nung first meeting namin pinag duphaston nya ako for 10days once a day kasi nga napasin ko disturb yung cycle ko lately (which is akala ko preggy na ako yun pala pcos)  after ng duphaston ko nagkaroon ako.  sabi nya madali naman nga daw i treat case ko since madame naman talaga nag conceive ng may pcos diet lang katapat para ma regulate yung cycle.  hindi na rin ako pinag pills kasi nga gusto ko mabuntis.   siguro ok na din nga na mag lose muna talaga ako ng weight and see kung makakabuo na hay, can't wait...

sis Cheenyv try mo sa kanya ok naman ako kay Doc Dy, pati si hubby binigyan nya din ng vits e, mabait naman sya.  covered sya ng HMO ko, 300/consultation, pati tvs ko covered din, kaya sa kanaya ako nag visit malapit sa house yung clinic kung saan ko sya mini meet.  Alam ko OB-Gyn, Sonologist Perinatologist  din si doc.  Sya din nag tvs sa akin.

saan ka ba nakatira sis? pwede kasing tignan mo din yung list of accredited OBs ng health card mo then from there pili ng OBs na may clinic malapit sa area mo at swak ang clinic hours sa schedule mo.  then pag nakapili ka na search mo name nung mga napili mo dito sa internet or sa rxpinoy site.  ganon kasi ginawa ko dati.

Hello lovely sissies/mums/expectants 

I'm new here and on my 4th month. I have been reading lots of news / stories about different OB Gynes and I'm wondering if anyone of you had / currently have experience/d with Dra. Eda Mendoza-Aguilar? Care to share?

She's my current OB and she's from OLLH.

I was once diagnosed of threatened abortion during my second month and she took care of me really well. My baby is now doing well that's why I'm happy.

My OB is Dr. Leonila Casanova.  She holds clinic at Tokyo Healthlink (Alabang), Asian Hospital, Pque Doctors and PGH.

I have also consulted an OB after almost a year of trying.  It was December 2012 when we first went to Dr. Irene Sy sa CRM in Ortigas.  Dito ko lang sa GT nabasa ang name and contact details nya.  Nung first appointment namin pinag-vitamins muna kami ni hubby since that time na pumunta kami tapos na daw ovulation ko.  We went back nung nagka-mens ako in January 2013.  Dun ko na nalaman na may PCOS ako,  then i took a medicine to ovulate, went back after a few days then they checked kung fertile ako,  nung positive ang fertility test,  i had an injection para daw mangitlog ako then duphaston para daw if ever mkabuo kami eh may support na agad.  Si hubby naman nag-undergo ng semen analysis and ang findings eh 9% lang ang good sperm nya while ang normal ay 14%.  So medyo nagreredi na kami na bka di agad kami mkabuo.  I had my mens in Feb but that time i was in Bacolod so hindi ako nkabalik sa OB for further testing.  Nung Feb after my mens wala nkong medication like nung January pero try lang kami ng try ni hubby.  By March this year buntis nko!  We were surprised kasi ang bilis at kung kelan wala akong medication saka kami nkabuo.  Now im 18 weeks preggy but i changed my OB kasi we are based in Makati eh si Dr. Sy sa CGH sya affiliated, malayo masyado samin.

I highly recommend my infertility specialist she is very compassionate, sympathetic and she doesnt charge that much. She is Dr Asuncion "jing" Fernsndez of st lukes qc and st lukes global. I was also on a long battle of infertility but now i just gave birth to a bouncing baby girl. My pregnancy journey was not easy but she took care of me. I was even hospitalized 2 during the duration of my pregnancy and the first time i was confined she only charged me 1500 thousand for her pf and the second time around i was rushed to the DR she didnt charge me anymore. She is the type of OB that you can call her anytime of the day and she answers your call or reply to your text and she even calls or text younfor follow up. Just call st lukes trunkline 7230301 and tell the operator to connect you to her clinic to get her scheduled. Even her secretaries are very sccomodating..

I went to Consuelo De Guzman pero nadisappoint lang ako sa kanya. She's an OB Gyne in Bulacan at horrible naging experience ko. Not was i only being judged, at mabigat kamay niya, di kasi ako maging kalmado kung ganung gyne yung mapupuntahan mo. Hindi ganun yung naging experience ko from my gyne before in another province so now i am looking for an open-minded ob gyne na makaka-address sa needs at problem ko sa reproductive health.

then dun ngpaalaga ang mom ko kasi 5yrs di pa sila magkaanak as in inalagaan siya at ako kasi
nung january nalaman na pregy ako at my dermoid cyst pa.
at napaka praktikal niya . diba kapag 1st time mom napaka paranoid natin.
siya kagad di naman need gumastos ng ganun didiretsahin ka niya.
like nung gusto ko mgpa test ng para malaman kung my defect si baby kasi nga kabado ako operada pako
sabi niya 2g ultrasound palang nakikita na kung my defect ang baby at nirerecomend lang daw niya yun kapag
nakapag Xray or my background sa family.

yung ibang OB kasi magastos kahit di namna kailangan makakita lang ganun daw kasi mga bagong OB ngayon.
hindi praktikal at hindi sila brutal o di sila direct magsalita..

then pag mag papa check up kami 1pm ang dating ni dok kapag tues-thurs. pupunta kami dun 8am palang
para makapagpalista na at babalik na lang kami ng 1pm kasi gulat kami di pa bukas yung clinic dami ng nakapila
at mura din kasi sa kanya.

rerecomend ko talaga ang OB ko promise di kayo magsisisi..
