also, di kasi ako familiar but if kelangan ba ng ultrasound, do they do this in their own room or kelangan pa pumunta sa ultrasound department ng hospital?

my OB accepts maxicare, just dont know if she does in UST, pero she holds clinic there pag thursday and friday ata. You might want to check Dra Maria Lynn Sese. She's really nice and very friendly. Her PF is pocket-friendly rin, based on the estimates she gave me (vs other maternity packages i have read and seen).

im also looking for a good ob though wala naman sa plano namin magkababy..kaso anlalayo sakin ng mga doctors na namention dito.. ang criteria ko for a good ob yung easy to talk to, malapit lang samin, affordable yung ratas, at w/in fairview area.. any suggestions?

^ Hi sis, OB ko si Sua-Lao. She has a clinic in Medical City. 9881000/9887000 loc. 5215. Tuesday and Thursday 2-5pm. Meron rin siya sa condesa. pero hindi ko alam number dun. Medyo mahal ang checkup sa kanya if may kasamang ultrasound. mga 1 - 2K.

Should a virgin have an OB/Gyne?
At what age should you have regular check-ups with an OB-Gyne?

every woman, virgin, or active, should have an OB and have regular check-up. it's part of taking care of ourselves. parang, we all have doctors, diba? usually, once a year lang naman ang routine check-up, which should include PAP Smear. One should start seeing an OB by 18 or when they start exploring na (i hope you get what i mean). some people kasi start younger, some late. I started seeing my OB when I was in first year college, I was about 16 then, and was diagnosed with yeast infection. I wouldn't have known that, kala ko tamang may itch lang, hindi naman grabe. Since then, I see her regularly.

^sinong OB ang okay for Virgin? ayoko lang ma-trauma sa TVS.
sa APE exam sa office before, we asked about Pap Smear,
and required lang sya for women 35 and up daw.
So some of us who wanted to be checked, hindi na nangyari unless me symptoms.
Other HMO only do it on those who are 40+ pa nga e.

^ Sis, you were told na trans V lang daw ang pwede? Actually sis, instead of transv, one can opt for trans abdominal ultrasound or even rectal ultrasound for a closer look. There are hymens kasi na kasya ang probe ng transv and there are hymens naman almost closed na yung vagina. Different cases for different ladies. Tell your OB that you're a virgin. Para hindi na nila iprescribe ang transv. Anong area ba ng OB ang hanap mo sis? Maybe malapit lang sayo yung OB ko. She has clinic in MCU, in front of PGH and SM Manila.

I will suggest trans abdominal ultrasound na lang muna, or blood/urine tests before a transV.

hello! any feedbacks po about Ma. Paz Rama of Delos Santos Mega Clinic? Or baka may marecommend po kayong OB around Pasig area? I haven't been to an OB kasi before, and since plan namin ng fiance ko na magka-baby na once we get married, I want to see one na.

sis agape, sorry ngayon lang nakabalik...

okay lang naman ang TVS. mejo uncomfy lang sya sa simula, pero hindi naman sya masyadong masakit since hindi naman ganun kalaki yung probe. teka pala sis, bakit ka it-TVS? depende kasi kung ano ang titignan before they prescribe an examination or ultrasound. if they need to check your endometrium and ovaries, you would need to have a TVS. kung pelvic area lang and uterine check, keri lang ang transabdominal. transrectal is not usually done sa ladies, unless they need to check the rectal area, and usually sa boys ito. best is to tell your OB about your concerns.

about an OB, my OB holds clinic hours in UST in the morning 9am-12noon yata yung clinic hours nya dun. her name is dr sese.

I had my whole abdomen ultrasound last Monday, all organs checked, looks normal.
What worries me are:
Thickened Endometrium at 17mm (either late ovulation so no menses 7wks, or low progesterone)
Retroverted Uterus (affects 20% of women)
Ovaries not visible (common yata ito)

I just read the results, I will get it pa the scans, and have an OB read it na lang. I have also done my research na rin, thinking of increasing my progesterone levels thru supplements or diet or cream. As for estrogen kasi I have lots of fat  and I love milk, but I will try to have my hormone levels checked na rin via a Fertility Test siguro, package is 3,300. I maybe stressed too which increases cortisol pala and lower progesterone, kaya pala sinasabi din nila na stress lang yan.
I'm preparing na rin kc pag delayed ang mens super sakit PMS na kasunod nito.
I still feel bloated, big tummy like something is swollen, also a bit of pain sa left/right area.
Nahirapan ako magpuno ng bladder then U/S then wiwi (i had 30% urine retention di ko ni-wiwi lahat) then U/S again.
Sana OB will not require a Pap, D&C or TVS, nanghihina ako when I think about it. Phobia yata talaga.
