^If I understand your question correctly, yes, 19k is the fixed maximum amount Philhealth deducts from a CS operation. Yun yung total na nadeduct sa bill ko when I gave birth a few months ago.

If you have a healthcard, which deduction comes first? PhilHealth or the healthcard?

I recall when I gave birth my Philhealth deduction was only 3K (NSD). So sad, my yearly contribution amounted to more than that! But then again my healthcard covered everything else.

Mag claim ako ng reimbursement sa Philhealth. Ask ko lang for CS mommies po, kung kailangan pa i submit yung CF3 or di na? Kasi kanina tumawag ako sa Philhealth Main Office, kailangan daw mag submit ng CF3. pagtawag ko naman sa Medical City san ako nanganak, di na daw kailangan.

Anyone na naka experience nito?

Last March nanganak ako via CS operation na deduct na total of 19K sa bill ko then yesterday may naka motor na nagdala ng sulat from Philhealth sa house,  tapos pirma, then sabi nung lalaki na nag deliver (mukhang addict) buti pa kayo may checke na galing Philhealth, tapos after ko pumirma humihingi ng pang gas sa akin, sabi ko ano, hihingi ka ng pang gas hindi naman ito checke dahil nabawas na sa hospital, tapos pagopen ko checke nga pero hindi naman ganun kalaking halaga.

hi po mga sis. sana po may naka online senyo, kasi nagstop na ko sa work ko last august. and di ko alam na dapat may 9months contribution ka na updated para magamit mo yung philhealth so if quarterly  hulog nung company ko dati last june 2013 pa yung last ko eh i will give birth this april 2014 paano ba gagawin ko para maka avail ako ng benefits sa philhealth if i missed august-sept.? yung october kasi pwede ko pa mabayaran ehh.. what should i do po?

Wala akong Philhealth. Pwede bang gamitin un Philhealth ni Hubby na dependent ako?

ang alam ko mag sis pwede gamitin philhealth ni husbund basta ipa update nyo sa philhealth yung kay hubby. ang alam ko may form un and also may requirements din. kasi ako pag lumabas [textspeak!] marriage cpntract namin papa under ako kay husband ko kasi di ko na nahuhulugan philhealth ko. sabi sa MMC pwede naman daw po [textspeak!] ganun..

^^Deeyosa, pwedeng-pwede gamitin yung Philhealth ng husband mo. Just have yourself listed as his dependent. My husband and I are individually paying members and I have him listed as my dependent. Our reason for this setup is because he's older, and by the time he's a senior citizen, he'll be my dependent anyway. If I was listed his dependent, panibagong paperwork pa when he becomes a senior citizen/lifetime member and I have to revert back to being an individually paying member. So might as well sort things out now.

Mukhang magtataas na talaga ng rate ang Philhealth. From ABS-CBN News:

"Starting Jan. 1 next year, the Philippine Health Insurance Corp. (PhilHealth) will implement the new premium rate of P2,400 for individually paying members (IPMs) with a monthly income of P25,000 and below."

Pwede kaya magbayad na this December for coverage for 2014 para old rate pa rin? Hehe. What do you think?
