go to your previous compny at sabihin mo sa kanila na walang ni isang contribution from them. kung meron ka pang payslip, show it to them. kung ayaw magbigay, ireport mo sa philhealth.

Hi! I would like to ask about philhealth.. kasi Im on bedrest na since October 2012 pa.. Naka file naman ng SSS Leave.. magagamit ko kaya ang philhealth ko sa panganganak ko nitong May 2013?

sis,kung sure ka na hinuhulugan ng company mo ang philhealth mo,mas maganda yun.. Para n0 worries ka na din

ano pong requirements to reimburse yung philhealth for baby? kasi diba di pa naibawas yun nun nanganak kasi wala pa sya as dependent mo. so irereimburse diba? how's that?

Annulled ka ba, legally separated? Do you have papers to prove that you have reverted your marital status to single?

You might be technically married pa rin. So you have to apply as a married person unless you have papers to prove your change of status. 10 years doesn't make you a legally a single person if you haven't done any legal means to change your status.

This doesn't only apply to Philhealth, but on other public/legal documents you fill out as well - such as SSS, PAGIBIG, employment applications, bank account records, etc.

Sis, if you need the Philhealth benefit right away and you think you are technically married as I have described above, then avail it. Else, if you have time, fix your marital status muna (not cheap though because you will need the services of a lawyer).

Kailangan mong mag-update ng employment status through your nearest Philhealth center. I remember may form na kailangan i-fill out. You'll also be changing your Philhealth status from Employed to Individually Paying. Check this out (though it helps a lot to call up Philhealth - the contact number is in the website - kasi I noticed doon sa map ng website na hindi updated with the location of Philhealth sa amin and there's one missing office na alam kong Philhealth office rin): http://www.philhealth.gov.ph/about_us/map/regional.htm

Totoo po bang covered ng Philhealth ang Newborn Screening? Yung hindi na sya babayaran sa hospital? tia.

Just want to share. For those who are applying for refund from Philhealth (pag hindi nadeduct sa hospital or clinic) please file for your reimbursement with in 60 days after discharge.  pag lumapas na ng 60 days bago kayo magfile for refund, hindi kayo babayaran ng Philhealth.

Do you mean the newborn screening? Mine was deducted from my total bill.

Also to answer ozttiksi question, yes, newborn screening is also covered by Philhealth.
