share ko lang, na confine kasi ako ng halos 2 days this week sa SLQC due to pre term labor. first time ever ko nagamit yung phil health ko.. at Infairnes kay philhealth.. na amaze kami ni hubby. first time ever ko itong ginamit kasi 2011 lang naman din ako nagsimulang maghulog because of work at naputol pa ito. Ngayon lang din ako na hospitalize ulit (sabi ng mom ko yung huli ko was when i was 2 years old pa hehe).. My hospital bill was supposedly almost 14k (minus complementary professional fee of my OB and the Endo and discounted din siya, at hindi din naka charge yung half day ko sa room nun last day) 4.7k din ang nabawas sa bill namin. natuwa ako na ganun din kalaki, kasi nabasa ko dito sa philhealth thread, mga 3k yung binabawas sa panganganak eh. nagulat ako na lagpas pa dun yung nabawas sakin. TIP lang: i dont know if same for all hospitals, but to be sure, prepare niyo din yung mga proof of payments niyo for the last 6 months. they prefer yung last year, mejo naisang tabi yung payments ko for january to march 2013. Buti na lang, when i asked for proof of payment sa huling company na pinasukan ko before i resigned for SSS, eh binigyan niya din ako ng for philhealth and pag-ibig. so me naipakita ako. Also, prepare copies of them as well as your MDR kasi kukunin nila.

^MrsLuluyz, na-enganyo na rin ako mag-update ng Philhealth ko because of you. Mabilis lang pala kahit dami nakapila, kasi special lane tayong mga preggies. I got my updated MDR and new ID in less than an hour.

Since my husband and I have already fully paid for 2013, they discouraged me from making him my dependent. Sayang daw yung payment. Just update it daw when we pay for next year.

They also said that the payment we made for the year 2013 has not been posted yet, so I better keep the receipts daw so I can prove that I'm fully covered when I give birth this month.

Ang alam ko wala. As far as I know one has to update it kung may changes sa family structure - for example nagdagdagan (or nabawasan - wag naman) ang anak, or nabyuda (wag din naman), or na-annul ang marriage... well, those are instances na kailangan mag-update. Doon kasi nakalagay kung sino-sino ang mga dependents.

Repeat CS ako last Feb. 2. Then si baby was confined sa nicu ng 5 days.

Ang actual bill ko is, 23, 271.81 + 25,000 (PF). 11,208.99 ang nabawas sa bill and 4560 naman sa pf ng doctor sa philhealth. So mga 15768.99 total.

Ang bill naman ni baby34,53969 + 22000 (PF ng 3 doctors na tumingin sa kanya). 6,851.72 ang nabawas sa bill and 4000 naman un sa pf, so 10,857.72

malaki laki na din ang naitulong ng philhealth sa bill namin. Halos 22k.

basta, bago kayo magpadischarge, ready na lahat ng documents para deduct na sa bill yung philhealth..

Ang alam ko yung UMID na ang ginagamit - it's a common card for Philhealth, GSIS/SSS, and PaGIBIG.

Sa SSS/GSIS nakukuha ang UMID. I heard it takes a year to get it.

Yes.

Sa experience ko, babawasan lang sa bill ng ospital yung sa Philhealth. So you pay less bago checkout.

I'm not sure doon sa mga hindi Philhealth accredited - I think you have to shoulder the expenses first tapos dalhin lahat ng receipts sa Philhealth then the Philhealth issues you a check. Check the FAQ, #6 - merong conditions: http://www.philhealth.gov.ph/members/employed/faqs.html

Huh? Di nagtanong ang hospital about you having any Philhealth?

Sis ganito kasi nangyari, I gave birth, I was discharged Saturday. My baby was discharged Sunday naman, no problem.
Then, Thursday, sabi i-confine daw si baby due to Jundice, e 6 days pa lang siya nun, di pa namin nadedeclare sa Philhealth ng kahit isa namin ni hubby. So pag-out ni baby ng Tuesday ata yun, we paid 8k++, the rest was covered by hubby's Intelicare(napakiusapan un broker ng Intelicare na ma-enroll si baby kahit wala pa birth cert), so yung 8k++ un gusto ko sana maireimburse kasi sabi sa receipt un dapat yun sagot ng Philhealth e kaso wala pa siya sa Philhealth namin so for reimbursement na lang daw.

ikaela - good to know sis! oo me ibang ok kasi yung iba meron talang special lane, me ibang bad trip kasi wala. sa lingkod pinoy center sa galleria ako nag ayos. magkatabi lang philhealth at sss dun, mas less tao dun kaysa sa mga branches. i was able to update my philhealth dun in less than 10 minutes.

ah baka yun yung reason kaya naisang tabi yung 2013 contributions ko kasi hindi pa posted. yes. keep the receipts, posted or not. halungkatin na yung mga last year. very important, para di hassle.

alam ko walang validity period yung MDR, it has your details lang kasi. napapalitan lang pag inapdate.

heyitschel - you can get naman philhealth id agad agad sis. freelancer_babe me universal ID na nga sis, pero yung iba nga wala pa so kailangan pa rin ng hiwalay na ID. mas mabilis na ngayon yung UMID, it will take 3-6 months na lang ngayon, unlike nun 2011 na me nakausap ako na 2 years daw bago niya nakuha. my sister's boyfriend got his in 2 months lang. nagpagawa ako nitong february, around May-august siguro darating yung sakin

forumera - i asked na din yun. isa lang sa parents ang pwede mag declare kay baby. pati tayo parents, if both me philhealth wala din yata bearing. nun nag update kasi ako nun isang araw nakasulat naman as dependent si hubby, me spouse portion kasi, tapos ilalagay kung me philhealth number. so nilagay ko. pero pagdating sa MDR, naka declare na walang dependents.

      Help naman po! May husband is a seaman. Onboard sya this March lang po! My EDD is on end of Oct.2013. Magagamit ko po ba  Philhealth nya? One problem pa po. Usually their contribution is delayed by one month in Philhealth. Etong march na contribution APRIL pa nila yon ipapasok tapos [textspeak!] payment pa nakalagay nyan is May pa! Kaloka talaga. Kaya sa first baby ko hindi ko nagamit Philhealth nya kc expected ko na on the date [textspeak!] payment nila kaya may mga lapse payment sya! I dont want to pay the whole bill again this time kc CS ako.

Hay, na-process ko din kahapon yung philhealth namin.. bale yung philhealth number ko pina-deactivate ko, then yung philhealth ni hubby pina-amend ko from employed to voluntary member at pina-update ko din para maging dependent niya.. nagbayad na din ako ng 1year contribution pra wala ng prob pag nanganak ako.. kainis lang, kasi nung humingi ako ng number at nagtanong ako kung may express lane sa buntis, sabi ba naman sakin di daw applicable sakin yun kahit buntis ako kasi philhealth ng husband ko ang ipa-process ko.. kaloka.. hay, buti mga 1hr lang natapos ko din..

^sweetscience, ang bobo lang ng nagsabi sayo niyan. Buti na lang nga na you were able to do it in one hour. And mostly nakaupo lang naman di ba, hindi na pila-pila.

^hay naku sis gnun nga eh.. pag talagang mga ganyan eh kailangan ng mahabang pasensya..  buti nga nakaupo lang sis.. ok lang sakin ang nakaupo at maghintay sis airconditioned naman dun, ang iniiwasan ko lang eh yung madaming tao.. kasi syempre first trimester kaya dapat diba maingat kaya di ako nagpupunta sa mall.. di kasi natin alam baka may air-borne disease tayong makuha.. delikado para sa mga preggy.. kaya sa much as possible sana gusto ko agad makaalis dun..

Hi Good day mga sisses! nagpapa check up kasi ako sa maternity clinic near our house gusto ko sana dun na lang din manganak pero ang problem ko hindi sila accredited ng philhealth pag NSD - spinal block ang package na pinili ko, ang pwede lang daw gamitan ng philhealth yung NSD lang as in w/o anes. Pwede bang ako na lang mag reimburse sa Philhealth? Thanks

hi pasagot naman po im currently employed but on leave of absence due to pregnancy... as in whole pregnancy nka leave ako.gusto ko lang po itanong kung babayaran pa din ni company si philhealth??

^sis, ganyan din ako, naka loa nun pregnant. Hindi babayaran ng company kasi hindi ka naman sumsweldo.. Kaya ginawa ko, ask ko philhealth directly, since last pay ko is november, then manganganak ako march, pasok pa daw yun sakin. But in your case na matagal ka mag loa, mas maganda siguro na mgvolunteer ka mag pay ng philhealth.

sis, sa philhealth, sabe kuha ka muna coc sa employer mo bago ka nila switch magvolunteer.. Tas tatago mo na mga receipt nung nabayaran mo.

^certificate of contributions yun sis, kunin m0 sa employer m0..kasi dito sa philhealth bulacan,hindi sila nagchange to volunteer gang walang coc.. Yup, 2nd quarter yan sis,450php..

saan ka bulacan sis?? pwede kaya ipa email ko na lang... tangapin kaya  nila... saka nagbasa kasi ako sa philhealth totoo ba na pede mo magamit sa maternity yung philhealth pag ka 9 payments within 12 months before giving birth?? medyo kinakabahan ako sa philhealth na to... hehe
