san miguel church din kami since dito ako nabinyagan.

6 months din po ang validity like baptismal... nang ninang na ako sa kumpil ng friend ko.. hindi ko sure kung pwede same ninong and ninang, pero kasi nung sa friend ko, tig isang pares lang.. kung gusto mo makasigurado, just bring friends na pwede sumama senyo at sila na ang mag-sponsors senyo..

cgapay - hi sis! yes, you will be required to get baptismal and confirmation certificate with annotation na "for marriage purposes only" both has expiry dates after yun ma-release. some parishes requires na within 6 months before the wedding mo nakuha yung certificates, in some parishes naman 3 months lang ang validity. if you have chosen your ceremony venue, ask them na lang to confirm. here is an article from w@w for the general requirements for a church wedding -

Amber424 - sis, how about h2b's parents? di rin ba nila maalala? ask his relatives sis kasi the only way to confirm kung nakumpilan na si hubby is to go to the parish na pinagkumpilan ang look for his records there. as early as now i-research nyo na yan para just in case hindi nyo mahanap yung records or kung di pa nga nakumpilan si h2b, ma-schedule nyo na ang kumpil nya.

reign - sis, yun confirmation nyo mismo before happened sa school grounds? if so, baka puede mo ask ang school admin kung saang church nila sinubmit ang confirmation records nyo. if your confirmation took place naman sa church where your school is affiliated, you can get it from the said church directly

hi sis yes sa school namin ginawa mismo sa auditorium may records naman siguro ang school? it has been quite a long time na rin kasi... high school pa ako..if walang record where can i have a copy kaya?thanks

reign - sis, i think best move mo is to get in touch with your school and ask what department you should contact to check this for you. not sure kasi if registrar's office will have a record of such.

Hi sisses! Yung baptismal certificate ba kelangan may annotation na "for confirmation purposes"? or newly issued baptismal certificate ba kelangan? or i can use yung for marriage purpose na baptismal or yung inissue mismo nung binyag?

kkaram - sis, when you say pinakamaganda magpakumpil, do you mean pinakamabilis? if yes, you may want to check San Miguel Church inside Malacañang

bluish_buff - sis, afai can remember na shinare ni sis blueflame, you need to present yun baptismal certificate with annotation na "for confirmation purposes".

Pwede kayang magpakumpil na lang ulit si hubby kasi nawawala na [textspeak!] certificate nya sa province and wala na din sya ibang kamag-anak na pwedeng pakisuyuan na ipakuha,overseas-based kasi kme,pwede kaya un?thanks in advance sa mga suggestions.

just had h2b confirmed yesterday.

we arrived late sa san miguel 9:30 kami nakarating, tapos na yung rehearsal/seminar/briefer regarding the kumpil. we filled up a half-page form and paid 630pesos (pero 600 lang nasa receipt)

the mass/kumpil started 10am. pero maayos, kahit late kami hindi kami aanga anga dahil may constant reminder ng mga kailangan gawin/sabihin.

masaya pa ang sermon ni father! nakakakonsensiya, pero masaya, eye-opener ang mga sinabi niya.

ako pala ang sponsor ni h2b. he's 26 and i'm 25. yung confirmation cert niya, kahit for marriage purposes na rin ang nakalagay (photocopy lang need nila) tinanggap pa rin.
