I'll be able to help you find solutions to your needs. I myself dumaan din ako dito, Im a financial advisor from AXA Philippines. I still seek help from other financial advisors ng ibang insurance company and I weigh options.
Sa huli, I still find AXA solutions more realistic and valuable.
AXA owns 30% market share in the philippines aside from AXA Global being the top 16 among 500 largest company in the world from FORBES.

Kung high return of investment lang ang usapan, or yung variable na tinatawag, Hari ang AXA dyan.

We also have guaranteed return na di hamak eh mataas ang makukuha mo compared to banks.

You can secure your future, guaranteed for only 50php a day.

The best insurance company is still AXA Philippines, hindi sya 100+ years old sa philippines unlike Sunlife pero nasa Top 3 na sya. What more pagdating ng panahon. And I'm telling you, kung high return lang ang usapan, AXA dominates variable.

I can discuss more why AXA is the best.

There's no such thing as the best insurance company here in our country.

For us, Mapfre Insular is the best. When my husband had a car accident last year (on his way to Laguna for business), they shouldered the expenses including the repairs.

Kumuha kami ng Variable Life Insurance sa Sun Life Canada Philippines, actually kaninang umaga lang namin kinuha, we paid 244,000, that's for 1 year na, insured kaming 4 (me, husband and 2 kids).  Sakop nun ang Life Insurance, Accidental Benefits, Death saka Critical Illness care.

so next year na ulit ang bayad, magtatabi lang kami ng 20k a month, insured na kaming 4, super happy kami, we made the right decision.

Ginawa ko assignment ko, I researched about Sun Life Canada, and based sa website ng Insurance Commission of the Phils., siya ang no.1 insurance based sa premium, tapos no. 3 siya in terms of net worth.

Kaya super naging panatag ako at si hubby na i try, plus yung financial adviser kasi namin eh mayaman na LOL, kaya siyempre nandun yung trust namin sa kanya.

Pinag pray ko din na maging maayos ang lahat, since huhulugan namin yung policy for 10 years, pero after 10 years naman eh wala kaming balak itigil basta may pinagkakakitaan kami, para mas malaki ang makukuha namin pagdating ng retirement.

Basta ipag pray ninyo muna mga sis, God really answers prayers :)

I currently have 3 life insurance policies: Sunlife Grepa (pre-need), Philam Life (VUL) and Manulife (with endowment). I started when I was 26 y.o. I still plan to add more after ko bayaran si Manulife. I still have 2 yrs to go.

I heard from an Atty on estate planning (Atty Cabrera) that one should load up on insurance especially if you plan on amassing wealth, or simply when you acquire properties and investments.

More is to be said about that but after hearing him explain our tax laws, estate taxes and insurance, it all made sense.

I've actually come across an Insurance that brings together the features of an HMO, Health Savings Plan, and a financial investment.

Indeed a very innovative program.

It's a healthcare coverage, savings, emergency fund, and insurance rolled into one.

5 years to pay sya, tapos within the 5yr period na hindi mo nagamit yung coverage, may Return of Premiums scheme sya.

Hi Juicy,

Let me guess sa insurance na 'to... if it's not IMG, then it's Caritas or Kaiser? Tama ba?

@brandi

I agree with you sis! There is no such thing as perfect insurance plan

I have VUL account in Sun Life at yung advisor ko super transparent hindi todo promote katulad ng iba.

i go for PRU LIFE UK...

If you noticed wala sila advertisement using celebrities and known personalities...  Because this people are paid to say what the company who hired them.

On their ads they show kids, happy couples and retired people. Saying nothing but mind you this people on their ads are policy holder of PRU LIFE UK...

I am a holder of a policy, my husband and my kids as well. I am happy with my agents and how they monthly/yearly visit me and tel me whats happening to my insurance. I drop other company and invest here as well.

On the TOP 5 most trusted insurance company in the Philippines and number one internationally.

They will never brag who are the known personality that a policy holder until you have yours. Because they are not selling using the known personalities but they are selling using the very nice products they have. You will be surprise who are this many personalities that have insurance and investment policy in Pru Life UK.

According to Pesos and Sense, pumili ng insurance company na 1) Malaki, 2) Yung ahente ay pinagkakatiwalaan mo

^ One more thing to note. Dapat po ay declared lahat ng pwedeng makaapekto sa insurability ng ini-insure na tao with regard to health if there are any pre-existing conditions, or are there other risks.

Kasi merong tinatawag na contestability period. This is the 2 years after policy has been issued to the Insured.

If demise happens within the 2-yr contestability period then there will always be an investigation made by the Insurer. Kung makita naman na walang pre-existing condition and complete sa document requirements, then claims can be released without problems.

^ It will depend on which country you reside abroad. These ratings are based on the availability of accredited hospitals and physicians in the given country.

VUL kasi is insurance + investment. Yung investment part is yung savings part where you can withdraw some funds when you need to.

Another option is, you get a term and then you invest separately (direct stock market or mutual funds). Ang caveat nito is you really need to understand what you're doing, and the investment is subject to estate taxes. The term insurance is paid for life and kung mahaba ang life mo, magmamahal rin ang premiums mo.

Should you decide to get an insurance for yourself and the insurance company ay nasa Pinas, you will need to be physically here sa Pinas and sign the app forms. That's SOP.

hi mga sis! meron bang from sunlife dito or kakilala? may sunlife vul ako for 3 years now, and kumita naman. balak ko sana iwithdraw un fund value pero nung tumawag ako yung fund value yung lang din pala ang pera mo sa knila. so kapag magdecide ako na iclose ang policy wala ako makukuha kundi yung fundvalue amount lang. goodbye na sa binayad ko for 3years. eh halos 25% lang yung fund amt value eh :( so goodbye na sa 75% na nahulog ko.. tama ba yung intindi ko? i had an impression kasi na may mkukuha ako (even not the full amt) sa binayad ko PLUS the fund value. so nabigyan ba ako ng wrong impression ng agent?

Yeah, wrong impression but the proposal shows how much
you can expect to see given a rate of return and you're required
to sign off on it to indicate the fact that you understood what
you're signing up for.

If you have the regular Flexilink you'll probably see in the proposal
that you won't start to break even until at least after the 10th year
and that's if your investments have performed well.

Part of the reason is that VULs are front loaded meaning almost
all of the charges are on the first few years so if your policy is only
3 years old then your fund value is probably still very small.

PetiksPinayInvestor

^^ Kaya dapat grumaduate talaga sa VUL

Treat its purpose as insurance. Kung may extra fund sa fund value, treat it as buffer for future insurance cost

Kung gusto niyo na may makukuhanan in the future, you should have put up a separate investment sa mutual fund / uitf / direct stock market
