Reason's why you end up in CS? Pls do share

^same here. 9.2lbs considered daw macrosomia baby so hindi daw kasya sa sipit sipitan ko. pasaway kasi ako ng 1st pregnancy, lahat ng matamis kinain ko, borderline GD rin ako.

Tumaas yung heartbeat ni baby at hindi na nagnormal kaya emergency CS na ako.

After administering epidural anesthesia, the heartbeat of my baby went down, still they waited till I am 10cm dilated, however the baby was still high and the doctor suspects that the umbilical cord was coiled, that's why I had emergency c section.

^Same. Bumaba ang heartbeat nya so they tried to administer some drugs, pero ang effect syempre pati heartbeat ko tumaas masyado, para akong ma hheart attack. Nag normal naman ang heart beat ni baby pero after a little while bumaba ulit. Tapos nag fever pa ako. So ayun, emergency CS.

Hello mga sis, just wondering meron bang naCS dito dahil masikip daw ang sipit sipitan (pelvic bone)? I was told na mag pa sched CS ako ni OB kasi kahit daw mag trial of labor hindi daw ako manonormal kasi maliit daw sipit sipitan ko. Last ultrasound ko 37 weeks, 5.5 [textspeak!] si baby so kaya pa.

Placenta Previa Totalis to low-lying placenta. On my last few weeks the location of the placenta still did not reach my OB's required centimeter away from internal OS for me to undergo trial labor.

Closed cervix kahit 2days na ko iniinduce. Hindi din bumababa si baby. My bp was also fluctuating.

I was 38weeks.

1st and 2nd Trimester - my OB said i was a candidate for CS because of placenta previa.
3rd trimester - changed OB and my UTS showed that my baby moved his placenta. im now eligible for vaginal birth

on my due date.. i labored for 27hrs.. on the 24hr there was no progress on my dilation of 6cm and my son's heartbeat was showing signs of distress. my son was also not moving unless there was an external factor making him move.. like a radio pressed onto my big tummy. on the 25th hr my OB decided to prick my water bag and they saw that it was meconium stained and that the water was now green and full of poop.. i had no fever, it was explained to me that i can still opt for a natural vaginal birth but my baby was not stable. my OB stressed to me that she doesn't recommend CS unless the child or mother is at risk. and at that time she said we were both at risk and she wants me to undergo an emergency CS. i agreed to her recommendation and i was under the knife a little while after that..

At 19 weeks, sinabihan na ako ni OB na maghanda na raw ako ng pang CS kasi I have 4 myomas, yung isa nasa 5cm tapos nakapwesto sa dadaanan daw ng baby kung NSD. Pwede ko kaya ipasabay paalis yung myoma ko, may ovarian cyst din ako para isang hiwaan nalang. Mas malaki kaya ang gastos pag ganun? Sorry sisses medyo OT.

^Sis, may friend ako. Sinabay na ang tanggal nung CS siya. Isa lang sa kanya pero malaki kaya vertical cut.

^I see, salamat sis. Iniisip ko yung aabutin ng bill namin pag pinasabay ko, hehe baka mas lumaki. Gusto ni hubby isabay na alisin para raw sa next baby hindi na ako ganun kahirap.

^i think mas makakatipid ka dun sis kasi isahang operation and stitch na lang. Plus the recovery also.

at 39th weeks 1 cm pa rin yung AFI is 7 every week bumaba though pasok pa naman sya may ob said na dalawa daw pagpipilian ko induced labor or scheduled cs, pinili ko induced labor inabot ng 16 hr bago mag 3 cm, inabot ng 7cm pero walang panubigan kahit binutas na ni ob tapos fetal distress na tuwing contraction either 90bpm o 200bpm yung heart rate ni baby until nagdecide na emergency cs.

^^sis ano kayang reasons bakit hindi nagpoprogress ang dilation? Kasi sa sister ko ganun din, very smooth pregnancy nya all throughout pero during labor nastuck sya sa 5cm i think, kaya emergency CS din.

I'm 38 when i got pregnant.
OB decided to do CS because of existing DM2.
Very crucial if i will have normal delivery and then eventually have emergency CS.
Blood Sugar is shooting up if I am in pain.
