CSA Makati Enrollment

My daughter is in high school na, sis lilyscapes. She gets out later than grade school students. She doesn't take a school bus.  Most of her friends are from Makati or Sucat though kaya medyo hirap sila magsamasama pag may group project. They take their lunch during recess then work together during lunch daw.

based on your travel time, i assume my son can get home early din because ang drop point namin is EDSA lang. what a relief that there are CSA students din pala from our area. may pag asa na ang son ko mag co-ed i thought students here are mostly from makati and taguig.

I agree. The values are good and their faith in God and to the Saints are outstanding. I feel proud when they say a novena to St. Rita, St. Agustine, St. Anthony when they're losing something and St. Jude for their studies. Nakakatuwa talaga.

My other child made it to DLSU Taft without going to any college review classes. They don't give high grades in CSA unless deserve talaga ng anak mo so when your child goes to college or another school, the standard is really high

Wag lang sis because coed ang CSA sis. But for sure you will like the values they are teaching the kids here. Im thankful sa mga teachers ng kid ko. They did a great job supporting and improving my son's personality. Till high school dun na kid ko and he loves the school talaga.

I agree. I love it when my son would tell me about their rosary month every october. At early age, my son knows how to pray using rosary na.

Speaking of college sis, yung kids ba is dun na sa CSA magte tale ng college entrance exam?

^ no sister. They must go to the universities of their choice to take the college entrance exam. But CSA was given the forms for DLSU and ADMU for the kids to fill up.  I'm not sure about the other colleges/universities.

Some of my child's friends are moving to DLSU Taft and UST  for senior high school. Malaking bagay para sa kanila na di na sila mag entrance exam for college because they're going to that university for senior high school.

I wonder kung matutuloy ang paggamit ng iPad this school year. Maybe not? We're not even told if the senior high schoolers will have a change of uniform to distinguish them from the other students.

I think the Ipad went well. Kasi di ba yung grade 4 used that last year. Baka tuloy tuloy na.

^yes sis deciding factor lang namin na it's co-ed. kahit maraming schools around our area, willing kami lumayo for CSA. good feedback din kasi talaga from other mommies i know, their kids are bright and well-mannered. naiisip ko lang talaga na medyo malayo compared to greenhills.

Yan din una concern ko but when my son started studying there, its all worth it. Some of his classmates pa nga sis taga QC, Paranaque, Las Pinas. But like me, they all took the risk. And i agree sis you can see how disciplined the kids there.

I saw a picture of the vest for senior high. It looks knitted na red pero manipis. Male seniors must wear a necktie and vest as well. Will check it out next week.

do you know how to get DVA stickers? and how much? thank you!

You need to fill up the form given by the school. They will be the one to give it to you. Last time i think its around 1500. not sure how much na ngayon.

Hi mga sis
I'm new to all this kid-going-to-school-thing, so please bear with me.
My daughter is about to start school. Baka next year ko pa siya ipa-start (3.5yrs old siya next year, June).
What kinds of things does she need to know? I think Nursery or Kinder siya if sa CSA siya next year. I might enroll her in DayCare school this year to get her started, kahit 3-2x a week lang.
But in preparation for interview/tests for entrance to CSA, what does she need to know?
She's 2.5 years old right now and knows her letters and numbers. Bulol pa siya magsalita  but loves to play and explore. Ano ba ginagawa sa entrance interview for Nursery and/or Kinder?
What are your recommendations for a mom like me?

Hi,  i think you need to get the schedule by September so October na yung exam. When my son had his entrance (same age as yours, Nursery yung age nila na yun) he was interviewed lang. Tapos parang may puzzle lang na parang pinalaro sa kanya. After the exam, we were told he was advance for his age if were willing to have him enrolled as JK but we politely declined. Kasi ayaw namin ma-pressure. If your kid is more advance for her age, most likely she will be placed to higher class na but it's still your discretion if you want or not.

First day of school for senior high tomorrow! So excited for my daughter. Their uniform is the same CSA girls uniform
But one inch below the knees na ang length , no socks , with red knitted vest and ribbon. Plus their shoes are 1-2 inches high.
I'm glad she  agreed we get the one inch Florsheim shoes.

Did you guys know that their chairs and desks are brand new too? Whiteboards too

my husband called CSA today -- 3000 na daw for the DVA sticker, my goodness!
Did you guys get one already?

grabe nga! P3000 na! we only got one for the car that usually picks up the kids. we didn't get anymore for the color coded car

I stand corrected. Yes sis. 3000 na. Did you guys buy? We had stickers placed on two cars.

And just today, there's a memo -- na hindi na allowed ang CSA vehicles without DVA sticker. So required na nga.
Namamahalan ako because naka-school bus yung son ko. We only use the car pag may school events.
