I know OT na, but who among you mommies enrolled their kids in the school's ASEP? Would like to know if teachers in this program give better grades than the assigned PE/Music teacher for the class?

Hi mommies, newbie here. I had my daughter enrolled in junior kinder. I am just having second thoughts (ngayon pa na na-enroll na at may pasok na hehe) well, I guess more on apprehensions that her preschool might be "stressful" because it's a traditional school.

Can someone please enlighten me about what they really do at junior kinder level? Is it more work and less play? Thanks!

Its more of learning while playing. The teachers will try to incorporate learning in a fun way. My son said when he was in Jr. Kinder, his teacher read books to them, then Math he said he is having fun learning. For me mas stressful ang kid sa progressive because my nephew is enrolled in progressive one.  Mas prefer pa rin namin ang traditional way. Plus their quizzes is just basically 1-5, then their periodical i think 20 items each lang. My nephew in progressive school, quiz was 80 items then periodical is 100 items (Nursery yun ha). Kaya mas stressed yung nephew ko kesa sa anak ko

So leap of faith din talaga kasi nga I was contemplating before if I will enroll her in a progressive school. We decided to go with CSA na rin kasi nga so far maganda ang feedback.

My son is now SK. He started there since Nursery. Aafter Gymboree dyan na sya agad. He was 3 and half lang. Di naman natakot kasi mababait mga teachers ng preschool.

Any tips for Grade one applicants? My five year old is still learning to write and master the alphabet. When do they start accepting applications? October pa rin ba? Anxiety attack. We are practicing everyday but I'm one sure if the little girl will get it by then .

Interview lang ba ang entrance exam o may writing skills din kaya? One of my two kids has graduated and I still have a high schooler at CSA. Sana pumasa si little girl namin !

Start na ng out reach next month. Excited si big girl ko. They will be teaching math to younger children.

Does anyone know how much the CSA sticker is? The DVA sticker isn't available yet, right? Weird lang kasi they released the notices but without any pricing . I called CSA and they were referring me to the guard house but no one was picking up. I tried to confirm about the DVA sticker but they weren't sure either.

^ The CSA Sticker cost P200.  But the DVA sticker is still under price negotiation.  Let's wait daw for memo for the availability.

There's a lot of families that didn't avail of the Dasma Village sticker?
I noticed the long lines for cars depositing their ID's at the guard house.


Also, is it Teacher's Day for your kids too on Monday?
What do you guys get for the teachers?
My child chose specialty book markers from Regina's to give.

Good morning, sis mommyxthree.

We did not get the Dasma sticker as we only bring/fetch her to school once a week (for early morning activities like FC and sponsored mass). She is a bus rider.

Hmm... my daughter did not mention anything but a co-parent told me that they have to memorize the Lava Song for a group presentation. Not sure if this is for the Teacher's Day celebration. Nothing was written in the diary about it (unless my daughter wasn't able to copy all again  )

It's Christmas season again!  What do you plan to give your child's teachers?  Any suggestions?
 
We also give the janitor.  My kids feel so happy when they see the look of their assigned janitor's face when they receive our Christmas gift.  Ang hirap kaya ng work nila so during Teacher's day and Christmas , we give them a little something
