how many sections does CSA have for grade school & around how many students per class? also, do they give a lot of homeworks?

^ they usually have 10 sections with an average of 40 students per section.  I think maximum of 3 homeworks in a day (if what I remember from what my daughter said is correct). No homeworks on Friday.

Does anyone know if CSA will still offer pre-school levels once the K-12 system gets implemented? Parang exag na sa dami ng levels if Toddler + Nursery + Senior Nursery + Kinder + 12 more levels? Was this addressed in any conference/meeting?

i think they will. isn't it that what will be implemented in the Philippines is really just Grade 7? CSA had the Grade 7 lever ever since so i'm thinking it wouldn't change.

CSA sent a memo to all parents last year regarding the implementation of K-12. If I remember it right, these will be the new levels:
Junior Kinder
Senior Kinder
Grade School (6 yrs)
Junior HS (4 yrs)
Senior HS (2 yrs)

I think Toddler & Nursery levels are just optional. My daughter started in CSA as Kinder-level student.

CSA uses English as primary language.

concern lang ako sa parking ng mga nagsusundo at naghahated. Di ba delikado sa mga students esp sa mga small children? Ang gulo kase tas yung mga students nasa parang gilid lang sila nagaantay. May system ba ang loading & unloading nila dun?

my daughter was almost 5 then... she did attend nursery from another school prior to CSA.  but i remember the pre-school secretary (Ms. Rosanes)  never asked about it, she just asked my daughter's age/birthday and said that her entry level would be kinder.

I think what's important is that the child will pass the interview/exam for her entry level.

 ...Joining in guys!  I enjoyed reading all the posts... But I have an inquiry...My son had never been into any schooling or summer education for that matter; and he's turning 6 on June 12. Who will decide then of which level he has to start with as an entry level? He knows the colors, shapes, letters, numbers but has a hard time writing that which includes his name.  And he is shy too. Likewise, I plan to inquire sometime in the latter part of May 2012 (since it is my vacation) so that I can tag him along and help him familiarize what a big school is.  Do you think CSA can still accommodate us considering that it would kind a bit late then? Just called CSA they now have the tuition fee for this coming schoolyear 2012-2013:

For prep: P89,824  (if semi annual - 62,831 and 30,000 second payment )
For Grade 1 : P81,393 (if monthly upon enrollment is 38,931 and 6,400 for 8 months)

My age requirement ba sa nursery level? My kid would be 3.4 yr old by june 2013 (next year pa naman) pwede na kaya sya sa nursery at csa? Thanks!
