Taxis can go in pero problema would be going out.

ang hirap nga lumabas pag mag commute.. sana meron ang school na maka on-call sa mga taxi..

On shoes, i remember we were not allowed to use dr. martens kasi may yellow stitches.. til now ganon pa din ba? pure black kailangan?

For high schoolers, you buy your notebooks outside na? I noticed for grade schoolers, they are required to buy from csa.

^ I think HS students can use any type of notebook they want.  Btw, I asked the bookstore clerk selling the uniforms if they accept made to order uniforms and she said yes but for skirts only.

^thanks sis flexusob! we enrolled the kids earlier. uniform and books na lang. hubby said that gs has to buy from csa because they are taught how to write better. ok with me as long as may purpose naman. school starts on wednesday, june 8th!

btw, how do you know what section your child will be? is it posted on the doors?

^ they usually post the room assignments several days before school starts. June 13 ang naka-post n school opening.

Is it cheaper to buy the books at the CSA bookstore or at National Bookstore?

^ i haven't compared the prices of the books.  I just buy them in CSA para complete na agad.  The prices of other school supplies like art paper don't vary much in the CS bookstore and in other bookstores inside the mall.

I just came from CSA this morning to have my 3 yr and 2 months old son interviewed for Nursery 2.  Even if he is short of a few months by the age requirement, he passed naman (just like my daughter who was also a few months short). CSA isn't really strict with the age requirement.  Expensive nga lang ang tuition fee, P94k for Nursery 2.

^congrats on you son's entry to nursery, flexusob! ... but P94k na ang tuition? it's more expensive than my 5th grader.. yikes..!

i compared the prices of the books but nbs isn't complete. for me, i'd rather get it all at the csa bookstore.

we bumped into fr. rodriguez again. grabe.. he's sooo lovable! i told my kids to bless whenever they see him.

i have to attend the orientation in june. argh..!

^ I'm thinking pa if I will still attend the orientation.  They will implement the K-12 plan na yata but I just don't know if this year na yun. A Prep teacher I chatted with said my Grade 3 daughter will also be affected. Since CSA already has Grade 7, they will add another year in HS.

^I see.. the reason most schools do that is for international accreditation. The Philippines is one of the countries that has not followed that ruling thus when graduates apply for colleges abroad, there is a conflict because they lack a year of education (daw!).

I went to CSA last week to accompany my cousin. She attended the parents' orientation for the new students. I was amazed to see Fr. Rodriguez (sa tuwa ko nagpa picture pa ako sa kanya). I saw Phoemela Beranda (unsure if I spelled her last name right). And ex-Ms. Laig. She married na kaya unsure of her last name. And few other teachers that are familiar. The Assistant Principal now was my class adviser when I was in kinder.

Iba na pala facade ng theater. St. Ambrose Hall na ata ang tawag doon. Sayang kasi sarado ang canteen (we used to call it LRT kasi ang haba). Sa round building (kinder/nursery), pareho pa din except that the Batibot area's gone.

Next year, in January, ang target ko mag sit in sa class kung pwede. I want to observe what their teaching method is like.

^ si Father Rodriguez is getting to be more makulit now. Siguro because of his age, figure head na lang siya na Principal but they don't let him work na. Siyempre, Father Rodriguez will forever be Father Rodriguez.  Marami tayong students na dumaan sa kanya

Laig is the married name of Mrs. Laig ( yung Home  Economics teacher).  Sister nya yata si Mrs. Flores who used to be the Pre-school principal way back when.

^sis.. si Ms. Laig is the pamangkin of Mrs. Laig (ang terror teacher ko sa home economics).. i now remember Ms. Laig's current last name.. Rivadelo.. she married one our teachers din.. si Mr. Rivadelo..
