^much better if sundin mo na lang sis kung ano ang nasa list ng DFA website for requirement for passport renewal. kasi it will depend on the officer who will check you documents, at least complete requirements mo. kesa naman andun ka na tas may na-missed ka document, sayang effort mo.

very important na ipa photocopy mo sya sis... dont forget yun. mahaba kasi pila ng photocopy nila dun eh

no need na sis, ako nga din na photocopy ko pa yun mga pages na may stamps

pero nakapaskil naman kasi dun sa window nila kung ano lang need for renewal and new applicants, so para mapabilis din trabaho nila at mapabilis ang pag process sa papers mo, sundin na lang natin

need mo lang i-present yung OLD PASSPORT and photocopy of 1st & last page of it.
bubutasan na nila yung passport mo, I was asked din kung kelan ako mag travel, nung nagpa renew ako July 6, Aug 23 pa naman flight ko kaya regular lang pinili ko

mabilis lang mag renew, less than an hour lang ^^

mga sis.. question po.. paano kung expired na ang passport? same pa rin ba ang procedure pag magpaparenew? mag expired na kasi ang passport ko by august 11 kaso di pa ko nakapag paschedule ng renewal ko sa dfa. Paano na kaya gagawin ko?

^ hi sis! Yes, same pa rin procedeure even if expired na passport. I had mine renewed this morning lang and my passport's expiry was nov 2009 pa!

I presented lang my old passport then binutasan nila then gave them a photocopy of the required pages. No questions asked.

Btw, we had a very nice experience at DFA kanina for my passport renewal and for my 2 kids' new passport application. My eldest is a special child and courtesy lanes are not available on Saturdays. Still, when we advised the DFA officers of my child's case, we were given priority in all lanes...as in we were escorted pa para dun kami sa harap parati. Hindi na nga kami nakaupo kasi dere-derecho na from step 1 Until the last step. The whole process took less than an hour lang...and for that I am very grateful to DFA for a very nice service accorded to us.

^Good to hear that. Dapat naman talaga they give priority to differently-abled people. Buti naman. Sorry for the late reply. My daughter's appointment was at 1130am & we finished the procedure at almost 2pm. I resent the DFA for not having courtesy lanes for kids on weekends. I mean, hey, do kids behave differently or are more patient on just certain days?! Anyway, it's a good thing my daughter is not one who is malikot or impatient. Masaya pa sya sa sit-stand process sa verification.

Pero not all bad news din pala Ma-experience ko cos wonder of all wonders, her passport arrived this morning, 2days EARLIER than the date on my receipt! Miracles do happen pa pala! And since I wasn't expecting it yet till Monday, wala akong pinagbilinan. They left the note n auth form na they'll come back tomorrow...I missed them by just half an hour after I got home!

3 hours later, the courier came back!!! Caught us just in time as I was on my way out to watch Captain America.

I chose 2go as the courier service & all in all, it only took 10 working days! Samantalang a friend of mine renewed yesterday n express din daw pinili Nya, delivery was set for Sept28!

...I went back to my friend's FB posting an hour ago and I read on his comment today na pag di daw rush, Oct pa ang release!!! He applied sa Lucena DFA but still diba? I don't understand why it's taking forever...

grabe naman sa tagal! next year november pa naman expire passport ko pero may time na biglaan pinapadala ko outside of the country because of work edi dapat january pa lang pa renew na ko??!! ano ba yan?! kalokohan ng dfa ha!

^Ako nga, 2013 pa expiry ng machine readable pspt ko n sa other kids ko 2014 naman so antayin ko na lang muna pag tumino-tino na services ng DFA before I renew ours tutal pwede pa naman gamitin kesa missing out on trips.

More of the exception than the norm, really, was what happened in my case. I still read a lot about the super delayed arrival of people's passports. Actually, I've never heard of anybody else getting theirs in advance in the recent months.

i had my passport appointment last July 16. Nakalagay dun ang release date daw is Aug 1, which is today. Pero sabi ng mom ko nareceive na nya last week yun passport ko. I had it delivered sa province. ambilis!
