My 2 kids and I are scheduled for a family appointment at the DFA this Saturday, 30 July. My 9 year-old daughter is a girl with autism. Would you know if there's a special lane for kids with special needs? I'm afraid that if we go through the regular lanes, she can get to be very impatient and may not be able to tolerate long queues.

Also, is there a parking area within the DFA compound or anywhere nearby?

^for the parking sis, there's a mini mall across DFA (Aseana Business Park I think), a gas station on the right and an open parking lot on its left side (Bradco Ave). hope this helps.

LBC lang ba ang official courier ng DFA or are there any other courier accredited by DFA. We do not know our courier [textspeak!] so we are confused as to whom to follow-up our passport.

sis kelan kayo nagpunta sa DFA? di ko rin kasi mahanap yung resibo... bad trip. wait na lang ako.

un sakin lbc, to be delivered sa province. un kay bf, air21 to be delivered sa QC.

Nope they have other couriers there such as Air21 etc.

i brought with me the following:
1. photocopy and orig passports of both father and mother
2. nso certified birth cert and photocopy of birth cert (of your baby)
3. nso marriage cert and photocopy - not required, but i brought just in case.

Yun lang. My baby is 4 months old, btw.

sa mga sisses natin na kakakuha and kaka-renew pa lang, allowed na ba ang naka-smile sa passport pic? or formal-formalan pa rin sa pic?

sis we went there to renew our passport last june 17. just to update you mga sis, our passports will be delivered to tmrw. thanks much for the help.

Btw, I applied for my daughter's passport on a Saturday and I asked the guard if there's a courtesy lane for kids. My kid is 17mos old. The guard said only on weekdays and for 1 yr old kids/infants only....hello, 17mos eh 1yr old pa rin...and what is the difference sa behavior/patience of kids on weekdays vs weekends? I don't understand the logic. Haha...useless pa rin DFA until now. The only difference is they transferred to a new facility. Nothing else. My daughter's passport is supposed to arrive on Aug1. Hay, good luck if it really arrives that day.

^^^ oh my, so wala palang courtesy lane pag saturday.

this saturday na kasi family appointment namin. how long did the process take, sis theflygirl? am worried kasi about my special child, baka sobrang ma-agitate pag sobrang maraming tao and matagal ang waiting time.

old passport lang and photocopy of 1st page and last page of passport
yun na yun, wala ng ibang hahanapin ^^
