•Police Report if passport is still valid
•Replacement fee of Php 200 if passport is still valid.

mama squeak, matagal na matagal na daw po kasi yung passport na yun na nawala... tapos po diplomat pa po yun.. balak po niya kumuha yung pangtravel lang.

^^May 13 ang release, May 14 delivery. Sa aming apat, sa kanya lang yung na-delay, ours were delivered May 14 (Saturday).

naayos na ba nila iyong mga machines nila for making/printing passports? Iyong friend ko kasi dapat kukunin iyong cousin nya sa Dubai para may mag alaga sa new born baby nila kaso na delay kasi may problem nga daw sa printing ng passport. That was what she said to me 2 weeks ago so I want to ask if it's still the same. My bro in law needs his passport kasi by 2nd week of June.

sis, papagawa ka sa lawyer ng affidavit of loss then need mo rin ng police report if u lost your passport. =)

what if yung old passport ko is diplomat then yung naset kong appointment is "new passport" instead of "renewal"? tatanggapin ba nila yung mga requirements plus yung application form ko?

Follow up mo na rin yang passport mo after 5 days as what they said.
And always get every the name of the person who assisted you lalo na yung nagsabi na in 5 days anjan na.

Ah ok hit ba ang name niya sa NBI sis, tell her to get an NBI clearance din and bring other supporting docs na complete na rin para no questions asked na sila sa DFA.
Then always ask kung bakit denied siya, you always have the right to know the reason why, kaya demand for answers.

Same requirements pa rin ata for lost passports ang iprepare ng friend mo. Important ang affidavit of loss dun, That is a legal document called the Notarized affidavit of loss sis you can get it from any notary public, yung mga lawyer na may notary public license ( hindi kasi lahat may notarial license)
But tell her.him to bring complete documents talaga, call DFA hotline para sure ka kung what kind of application kunin.

just wondering, yung friend ko nag apply ng passposrt and ginawa nyang SINGLE sya but she is married! makikita ba yun ng DFA? kase di naman sila nahingi ng CENOMAR eh.

i think hindi naman kung ayaw pa nya magchange ng status. pero what if she will travel abroad someday with the family? how will that affect their traveL?

mga sis, pwede pa bang mag travel international kahit na mageexpire na ang passport ko in 6 months...travel is just for a week...ok lang ba yun?

^ hi sis! from what i heard from ASec of DFA who's a guest last night in DZMM, he mentioned (because a caller inquired also this) that passport can still be extended for another year.. but to be sure, it would be better if you'll call DFA. =)

JUNE 20 Appointment

hi sisses!

for those of you who have an appointment on June 20, 2011 which was declared as special holiday and DFA will be closed on this date, i heard last night from the ASec of DFA via DZMM that you will be accomodated from June 13-17, 2011 instead of June 20, 2011.

Sis I think hindi yun makikita whatever her status is, pero it will affect her future applications like mga visas, etc.

I think yes pwede ka pa magtravel, for as long as babalik ka in a few days or weeks lang, but the question is will the country that you will be going allow you to enter their country with an expiring passport?
Ako I was able to do that before noong green passport pa ako, but the naia personnel made sure na babalik ako in a few days lang and renew my passport na daw. To be sure call DFA.

tumawag ako kanina sa DFA Batangas, available for pick up na raw ang passport ng mag ama ko Kukunin na lang tomorrow ng husband ko. Thank God!
