Sis sorry OT. Hope you can answer since malapit lang kayo sa Marcos Hi-Way. May tinatayo kasi na condo ang DMCI sa may bandang Marcos Hi-Way, pero Amang Rodriguez yung address, malapit sa MRT. Ask ko lang if saan yung pinakamalapit na sakayan dun going to Makati? Balak kasi namin bumili ng unit doon, kaso lang I don't know kung mahirap magcommute. TIA

I've tried Boyong's and Mama Chits. Sa sandwiches/burgers mas ok for me ang Mama Chits but the pasta ng Boyongs ang love ko and also their Beef Dinuguan, a must-try - plus mura pa, less than 50 pesos lang. I agree sa isang sis natin, Cafe Lydia is not like before nung nag uumpisa pa lang sila. Kanto Breakfast in Engineering is also a hit or miss. Tried their Fried Oreos di naman ako nasarapan, medyo mahal din 50 pesos for 3 pcs ng oeros pero masarap yung Batangas Beef Tapa nila.

^ sis di ko alam kung saan ang sakayan ng shuttles going to Makati along Marcos Hi... pero baka pwede ka mag tryke sa bayan. Sa may Savemore may mga shuttles dun going to Ortigas and Makati.

Hi sis, Boyong's is at E. Dela Paz st, san roque. E dela paz is a one way street, Boyong's is near china trust bank(or china bank?). If you are coming from marcos h-way, follow nyo lang yung jeepneys na pasig-marikina route. Nasa left yung boyongs.

May naka-try na ba sa inyo nung katabi ng Boyong's? Yung mukhang karinderya?

Boyong's din yun kasi they started out as a carinderia/catering. Dagdag lang yung burgers nila and stuff. I know that kasi high school pa lang ako or grade school, meron na and they used to be right across San Roque Elementary School, their old pwesto.

Their calderata is good. And I'm not sure if they still cook it, their South China Chicken.

hi to all.  i was born and raised in marikina but living in the south now when i got married. but still regularly pa din kami pumapasyal dyan kasi all my siblings and their family andyan at saka  dad ko. i am convincing hubby to go back there lalo na mag college na next year ang oldest namin kasi mas malapit sa mga colleges and universities ang marikina kesa dito sa las pinas. btw, i am from sss village. ask ko lang sana how much na ang tuition fee ngayon sa st. scho by next year mag grade 4 at grade 6 na ang 2 daughters ko. matigas ulo ko talagang i really want to go back to marikina kasi kaya nagplaplano ako ng paglipat ng kids ko ng school. and ifever baka pwede mag post kayo ng house for rent at baka matuloy kami. thanks in advance...

i share ko na din ang mga alam kong kainan where we usually eat.

1. Genia's - eatery ito serving good and inexpensive meals. it's along kapitan moi street. their specialty is lechon kawali.
2.Cafe Lydia na mention na dito and they pride themselves with dishes like escabeche and pininyahang manok. the best din ang barbecue at puto dito. located at 64 Calderon St., Calumpang
3. Luyong restaurant- sarap din dito lalo na ng pancit bihon may lechon kawali pa on top.
4. Tapsi ni Vivian- this resto have come a long long way. eatery lang ito dati ngayon building na sila at may  function hall na. Bulalo at Tapsi dishes ang specialty nila.
5. Chits Burger of course - yung burger na kasing laki plato is becoming famous na din.

for mini puto meron kaming binibilhan along paliparan i can't remember the exact street kasi ang liit lang ng store nila. super sarap ng mini puto nila with cheese on top. i will ask my SIL for the exact location
