mga sis, have you heard of SKOW cafe...stands for "some kind of wonderful" cafe, based on the film by john hughes. parang na-excite akong ivisit because ang setup ng cafe ay 80s era (halata ba na era ko?) haha! affordable naman daw ang food and laging puno. i plan to visit this although mixed reviews ang nababasa ko. it's located near st.paul parish at rainbow street at SSS

Hi Sisies, from Marikina din sa concepcion ako nung dalaga pa ko and after we got married last dec 29,11 lumipat na ko sa bahay ni hubby sa parang,, natry ko na almost un mga foodies na nashare nio, foodtrip kasi hilig namen ni hubby eh

meron pa ko isang ia-suggest--you might wanna try un quizza cafe sa likod ng sds hospital sa may sss vill. superb un food, un nga lang palaging madaming tao, i so love the beef salpicao winner!!

and may bago kmeng discover sa may calumpang patio vera, super nice and cozy ng place mejo pricey pero sulit sa sarap ng food.

naririnig ko na nga din yang kainan sa likod ng SDS hospital. sabi nga daw masarap. wanna try it kaso wala pa ko mahatak na makasama kasi wala pa si hubby  but will try that soon.

I've tried eating at SKOW with a couple of friends. They agreed with me when I said that the food lives up to its name. It's just some kind of wonderful because it is really not that wonderful. Though the place is cozy and nice.


Re: Boyong's, it's along the road na dinadaanan ng mga jeep going to Cubao na coming from Calumpang. Along the road lang sya and parang garage.

As I type this, I am having their hungarian sandwich for early dinner. Yum! It's big and costs only 50 bucks with mustard, mayo, lettuce, and cucumber.

Had nachos from Dee Coffee House for dinner. Yum! The best.

I like Mama Chit's Roast Turkey Sandwich too. Pero good for two sya.

Hi you should try S.K.O.W. try their Salmon Steak in lemon caper sauce and their Cheeseburger, Simply the best! If you enjoy old school cheeseburgers like the one of the old Dayrit's, mageenjoy ka sa S.K.O.W. Masarap din pasta nila the Puttanesca and Seafood Marinara very affordable pa. To die for Choco Caramel Cake nila, parang choco cake ng Cookie Monster and Polly's. Their entrees are very good also, try their BBQ Ribs and Chicken Fillet in white olive sauce w/ potato salad on the side. You should give it a try before you listen to other people's opinion, To Each His Own, ika nga. May nasasarapan meron hindi. I was a skeptic before, until i tried S.K.O.W., and all i can say is, i went home very satisfied. I think SKOW is the most underrated Hole in the Wall Resto in Marikina. I'm a regular of Maginhawa, Mandaluyong and Dian Makati and Kapitolyo Pasig Hole in the Wall restos. IMHO S.K.O.W is at par or  should i say better than Hole in the Wall restos outside Marikina. In my humble opinion S.K.O.W. is the best Hole in the Wall resto in Marikina.

I was told na meron eat all you can sa Cocina ni Kambal.  Its inside Kapitan Moy, sa ground floor.  Its 180/head for lunch and dinner and 99/head for breakfast.  May nakatry na po ba dito?
